Abstract
【達成手段】バックライトユニット及びそれを用いたディスプレイ装置に関するもので、少なくとも一つの光源と、光源の光を反射する反射層と、光源の光出射面に隣接した反射層の一部の領域上に形成され、光源の光の一部を吸収する多数の吸収パターンと、を含むことができる。

Claims (22)
- 少なくとも一つの光源と、
前記光源の光を反射する反射層と、
前記光源の光出射面に隣接した前記反射層の一部の領域上に形成され、前記光源の光の一部を吸収する多数の吸収パターンと、を含むバックライトユニット。 - 前記吸収パターンは、前記各光源ごとに一対一対応するように配置される、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット
- 前記吸収パターンは、前記光源から1〜5mm以内に形成される、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記吸収パターンの密度は、前記光源から遠ざかるほど低くなる、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記吸収パターンは、前記光源から距離が遠ざかるほど、前記吸収パターンの大きさが減少し、前記互いに隣接した吸収パターン間の距離が広くなる、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか1項に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記吸収パターンは、 前記光源から距離が遠ざかるほど、 前記吸収パターンの大きさが一定で、 前記互いに隣接した吸収パターン間の距離が広くなる、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか1項に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記吸収パターンは、前記光源から距離が遠ざかるほど前記吸収パターンの大きさが減少し、 、前記互いに隣接した吸収パターン間の距離は一定である、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか1項に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記各光源に配置される吸収パターンの分布形状は五角形形状である、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記各光源に対応して配置される吸収パターンは、隣接した光源に対応して配置される吸収パターンと一定間隔だけ離隔して配置される、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記吸収パターンは、ホワイトインクとブラックインクとの混合物である、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記ホワイトインクは、金属、TiO2、SiO2、CaCO3、ZnOのうち少なくともいずれか一つであり、前記ブラックインクはカーボン系列である、請求項10に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記ブラックインクの混合比率は1〜50%である、請求項10に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記光源から発生された光をガイドする導光板と、
前記導光板に接触して支持されるか、または、前記導光板から一定の空間を有するように離隔して配置されることにより、前記光源の光の一部を遮断する遮光パターンをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のバックライトユニット。 - 前記導光板と遮光パターンとの間にはバッファ層が形成される、請求項13に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記遮光パターンは、物質が互いに異なる複数層である、請求項13に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記遮光パターンは、上部層が下部層の面積よりも広い、請求項15に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記遮光パターンは、下部層が上部層よりも反射率が高い、請求項15に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記遮光パターンの下部層はAlからなり、上部層はTiO2またはSiO2である、請求項15に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記遮光パターンの総厚さは、3〜5μmである、請求項15に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記遮光パターンの密度は、前記光源から遠ざかるほど低くなる、請求項13〜19のうちいずれか1項に記載のバックライトユニット。
- 前記導光板は、前記光源の一部または全部を挿入するための少なくとも一つの溝を有する、請求項13に記載のバックライトユニット。
- ディスプレイパネルと、
前記ディスプレイパネルに光を照射するバックライトユニットと、を含み、
前記バックライトユニットは、請求項1〜21に記載のバックライトユニットのうちいずれか一つのバックライトユニットを用いたディスプレイ装置。
