Abstract
【解決手段】 バス・インターフェースを各信号処理装置に配設し、このインターフェースは、チャネルの1つに送信される制御信号に応答して、各インターフェースを制御するデコーダを有する。データは、スーパーパケット構造でチャネル中を送信される。バスに供給される信号を発生する処理装置、たとえばMPEGトランスポート・パケットを供給する受信機等はこのようなスーパーパケットを形成する装置を有する。各スーパーパケットは、トランスポート・パケットと、トランスポート・パケットの生起タイミングに関連するタイムスタンプとを少なくとも含んでいる。トランスポート・パケットとタイムスタンプとは、各スーパーパケット内の予め定められた位置に位置する。

Claims (1)
- トランスポート・パケットに含まれるプログラムをインターフェースを介して接続される装置に伝送する方法であって、
前記トランスポート・パケットを受信するステップであって、該トランスポート・パケットが複数のプログラムを含み、該トランスポート・パケットの各々がプログラム・クロック・レファレンスを有している、該ステップと、
前記受信したトランスポート・パケットに含まれる複数のプログラムのうち所望のプログラムを選択するステップと、
前記選択したトランスポート・パケットの受信または生成と関連付けられたタイムスタンプを生成するステップと、
個別のフィールドに前記タイムスタンプと、当該タイムスタンプと関連する前記プログラムを含むパケットとを含むスーパーパケットを形成するステップと、
前記スーパーパケットをインターフェースを介して前記装置に伝送するステップと、
を含む、前記方法。
