以上の効果を確認するため、天板(30)上に200ミリリットルの水を溢して布巾で操作つまみ(2)側へ向けて拭き取ったところ、図7に示す従来の筒状パッキン(10)を取り付けた構造では、大量の水がコンロ本体(3)内へ浸入していたが、図1に示す実施形態の筒状パッキン(1)を取り付けた構造では、水の浸入が見られなかったことが確認された。
