Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a burner.
Biogas mainly composed of methane is generated by anaerobic fermentation of organic wastewater generated in the production process of beer or the like (see
In the cogeneration facility, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, turbine exhaust gas (indicated by white arrows in the figure) generated in the
The turbine exhaust gas has a temperature of about 500 ° C. and an oxygen concentration of 15 vol. In addition, it is conveyed at a flow rate of about 15 m / s between the generator and the boiler. As described above, in an environment where the atmospheric gas is flowing and the oxygen concentration is low, the conventional apparatus using the shape of the burner is difficult to burn with only biogas, and city gas, propane gas, etc. and biogas Is currently used in combination.
Even when the conventional method of using city gas, propane gas, etc. and biogas together is used, if the load on the boiler is large, the generated biogas can be used as an energy source, but the load on the boiler is small. In the case of biogas alone, the combustion cannot be stably maintained, and therefore, the gas is burned with city gas, propane gas, etc., and the biogas that is always generated during the production of beer is disposed of in the flare stack.
The present invention provides a burner capable of burning biogas using atmospheric gas as combustion air without using city gas, propane gas, etc., even in an environment where the atmospheric gas is flowing and the oxygen concentration is low. Objective.
The inventors of the present invention have made extensive studies to solve the above problems, and have obtained the following knowledge.
(A) In an environment where the atmospheric gas is flowing, the burner is difficult to ignite and is easily extinguished. This is especially true in environments where the oxygen concentration is low, such as turbine exhaust gas. For this reason, after igniting a burner, it is important to set it as the structure which is hard to receive the influence of an external environment. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide a hood at the tip of the burner.
(B) When the flow rate of the atmospheric gas is high (especially in an environment where the atmospheric gas flows at a flow rate of 10 m / s or more), or further, the oxygen concentration is 15 vol. In the case of a low oxygen environment of less than 10%, it may be difficult to ignite the burner at the same flow rate. In such a case, it is important to ignite the burner after sufficiently reducing the flow rate of the atmospheric gas.
This invention is completed based on said knowledge, and makes the summary the burner shown to following (1)-(5).
(1) A burner that is installed in an environment in which atmospheric gas flows and burns the atmospheric gas and biogas, and is connected to the biogas flow path, the atmospheric gas flow path, and at least the biogas flow path A burner comprising a nozzle and a hood installed downstream of the nozzle.
(2) The burner according to (1), wherein the atmospheric gas with reduced flow velocity is introduced into the atmospheric gas flow passage.
(3) The burner according to (1) or (2) above, wherein the biogas flow passage is provided with gas swirl vanes.
(4) When the exhaust gas from the gas turbine is supplied to the boiler, the burner according to any one of (1) to (3), which is a burner installed for tracking the exhaust gas.
(5) The burner according to any one of (1) to (4) above, wherein the biogas is mainly composed of methane.
In the burner of the present invention, the atmosphere gas flows without using a gas such as city gas, propane gas or a mixed gas of these gases and biogas even in an environment where the oxygen gas is flowing and the oxygen concentration is low. Biogas can be burned as combustion air, and a blower for supplying fuel combustion air is not required, contributing to energy saving. This burner is particularly suitable for recharging turbine exhaust gas in a cogeneration facility using biogas obtained from the wastewater of a beer factory.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
The burner according to the present invention is a burner that is installed in an environment in which atmospheric gas flows and burns a mixed gas of the atmospheric gas and biogas. The environment in which the atmospheric gas is flowing includes, for example, an environment in which turbine exhaust gas (white arrow) generated in the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
The biogas that has passed through the
On the other hand, a part of the atmospheric gas is introduced into, for example, an atmospheric
A
The shape of the
The nozzle is not particularly limited as long as it can sufficiently mix biogas and atmospheric gas. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, a cone having a truncated cone-
It is preferable that a plurality of burners are arranged at equal intervals in a direction perpendicular to the flowing direction of the atmospheric gas. The method for igniting the burner is not particularly limited, and for example, manual ignition using an ignition torch or automatic ignition using a pilot burner can be employed. Further, it is preferable that the burners be arranged close enough so that if one of the burners at one or both ends is ignited, the burner is transferred and the ignition of all the burners is completed.
