Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an oscillation device using a piezoelectric vibrator.
There is an electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer as an electroacoustic transducer for a portable device or the like. The electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer generates a vibration amplitude by using an action of a magnetic circuit. However, since the magnetic circuit is composed of a large number of members such as a permanent magnet and a voice coil, the electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer has a limit in thinning.
As an electroacoustic transducer that replaces the electrodynamic electroacoustic transducer, there is a piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer. Piezoelectric electroacoustic transducers generate vibration amplitude by utilizing the expansion and contraction generated by applying an electric field to a piezoelectric vibrator. Piezoelectric electroacoustic transducers are advantageous for thinning because they do not require a large number of members in order to generate vibration amplitude.
As technologies related to piezoelectric electroacoustic transducers, there are those described in Patent Documents 1 to 5. The technique described in Patent Document 5 is to improve the frequency characteristics of a piezoelectric speaker by using a material having a high internal loss. Patent Document 1 discloses a directional speaker in which a piezoelectric vibrator is in contact with a vibrating membrane. Furthermore, the technique described in
The techniques described in Patent Documents 3 and 4 support a vibration member that restrains a piezoelectric vibrator by a support member via beam portions located on four sides. Furthermore, in the technique described in Patent Document 4, the end portion of the beam portion is bent downward. All of these are intended to reduce the size of the piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer while increasing the vibration amplitude.
By using the piezoelectric vibrator, the electroacoustic transducer can be thinned. On the other hand, the ceramic material constituting the piezoelectric vibrator has a high mechanical quality factor (Q value). For this reason, in the piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer, the amplitude is large in the vicinity of the fundamental resonance frequency, and the amplitude is significantly attenuated in other bands. In addition, since the ceramic material has high rigidity, it is difficult to obtain sufficient vibration amplitude. Therefore, there is a demand for an oscillation device that can obtain a sufficient vibration amplitude while reducing the thickness, and can make the frequency amplitude characteristic nearly flat in a wide band.
An object of the present invention is to provide an oscillating device capable of obtaining a sufficient vibration amplitude while achieving a reduction in thickness, and capable of making the frequency amplitude characteristic nearly flat in a wide band.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In all the drawings, the same reference numerals are given to the same components, and the description will be omitted as appropriate.
FIG. 1 is a plan view showing an
The
The configuration of the
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
Next, a method for manufacturing the
The
Next, a sound reproduction method using a piezoelectric electroacoustic transducer using the
Next, the effect of this embodiment will be described. FIG. 8 is a plan view showing the oscillation device according to the first comparative example. In the oscillation device according to the first comparative example, the
On the other hand, the
The
FIG. 3 is a plan view showing the
Also in this embodiment, the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained. The
FIG. 4 is a plan view showing the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
Also in this embodiment, the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained. In addition, the
FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view showing an
As shown in FIG. 5, the
Also in this embodiment, the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained. Further, the polarization directions of the
FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing a
As shown in FIG. 6, the
Also in this embodiment, the same effect as that of the first embodiment can be obtained. In addition, since the
