Claims (4)
- 背面光(12)により照明され所々蛍光発光する組織領域であって、カラービデオカメラ(3)により撮影された該組織領域の内視鏡画像を改善する方法において、前記内視鏡画像の画素が前記ビデオカメラ(3)の色空間(RGB)から、蛍光光線(11)の色空間領域(21)及び背面光(12)の色空間領域(20)を通過する直線(F1)が前記画素の蛍光成分を表す座標軸(F)に平行に走行する色空間(FXY)に変換され、前記色空間(FXY)内で前記画素の蛍光成分が、蛍光コントラスト即ち高い蛍光値と低い蛍光値との差を少なくとも所々の領域で増加させる非線形特性曲線(13)に従って変化され、最後に前記画素は、画像表示に適する色空間(RGB)に変換されることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記特性曲線(13)は、上端領域(c〜1)及び下端領域(0〜a)内では制御は行われず、中間領域(a〜c)内の特性曲線(13)の上部区間(b〜c)では増強制御され、下部区間(a〜b)では減弱制御されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記特性曲線(13)は蛍光コントラストが時間と共に高められるよう時間と共に制御されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- カラービデオカメラ(3)を備える医療用内視鏡(1)であって、画像処理装置(5)及び画像表示装置(7)が接続されている医療用内視鏡(1)において、前記画像処理装置(5)は、請求項1、2、または3に記載の方法を実施するように形成されていることを特徴とする医療用内視鏡。
