Description
Claims (17)
- インタラクティブ表面上で使用するポインティングデバイスにおいて、前記ポインティングデバイスが、
ユーザによる異なる位置への操作を可能にするグリップ部と、
前記インタラクティブ表面と接触する接触面を持つ成形可能部分と、
を有し、前記グリップ部は、前記異なる位置の1つへの前記グリップ部の操作が前記インタラクティブ表面上の前記接触面のフットプリントに前記グリップ部のそれぞれの位置に対応する形状を取らせるように前記成形可能部分に結合される、ポインティングデバイス。 - 前記接触面が回転対称ではない、請求項1に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記成形可能部分が可とう性材料を有する、請求項1に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記成形可能部分が、前記可とう性材料の少なくとも3つの湾曲した脚を有し、各脚の一方の端部が、前記グリップ部に取り付けられ、各脚の他方の端部が、前記接触面の一部を有する、請求項3に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記ポインティングデバイスが、前記インタラクティブ表面上にある支持素子を有し、前記成形部分が、前記可とう性材料の輪を有し、前記支持素子が、前記輪の中に位置し、前記輪は、前記接触面が、
前記ポインティングデバイスがニュートラル位置にある場合に前記インタラクティブ表面の上にあり、
前記ポインティングデバイスが非ニュートラル位置にある場合に前記インタラクティブ表面に部分的に接触する、
ように構成される、請求項3に記載のポインティングデバイス。 - 前記成形可能部分が、前記可とう性材料の半球ドームである、請求項3に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記可とう性材料が、折り曲げ可能な発泡体である、請求項3に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記成形可能部分が、少なくとも1つの剛体部材を有し、前記剛体部材が、前記接触面の少なくとも一部を有し、柔軟リンクにより前記グリップ部に結合される、請求項1に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記柔軟リンクがヒンジである、請求項8に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記接触面の少なくとも一部が、前記インタラクティブ表面上の前記接触面のスリップを防止する取り付け手段を有する、請求項1に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記取り付け手段がゴムストリップである、請求項10に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 前記取り付け手段が吸引ナップである、請求項10に記載のポインティングデバイス。
- 請求項1ないし12のいずれか一項に記載のポインティングデバイスとインタラクティブ表面とを有するインタラクティブシステムにおいて、前記インタラクティブ表面上の前記ポインティングデバイスの前記成形可能部分の接触面のフットプリントの特徴を決定する手段と、前記フットプリントの特徴に基づいて前記グリップ部の位置を決定する手段とを有する、インタラクティブシステム。
- 前記フットプリントの特徴を決定する手段が、前記フットプリントの別個の部分の間の距離を決定する、請求項13に記載のインタラクティブシステム。
- 前記フットプリントの特徴を決定する手段が、前記フットプリントの面積を決定する、請求項13に記載のインタラクティブシステム。
- 前記フットプリントの特徴を決定する手段が、前記フットプリントの形状を決定する、請求項13に記載のインタラクティブシステム。
- 請求項1ないし12のいずれか一項に記載のポインティングデバイスのグリップ部の位置を決定する方法において、
前記インタラクティブ表面上の前記ポインティングデバイスの前記成形可能部分の接触面のフットプリントの特徴を決定するステップと、
前記フットプリントの特徴に基づいて前記グリップ部の位置を決定するステップと、
を有する方法。
