Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a forced air supply / exhaust heater.
In general, in a heater, indoor air is heated by heating air taken in from indoors through heat exchange with combustion gas obtained by burning fuel gas, and sending the heated air again indoors. Among these, in the forced air supply / exhaust heater, the air required for the combustion of the fuel gas is forcibly taken in from the outside by the air supply / exhaust fan, and the exhaust gas after the combustion is forcibly discharged outside. In a forced air supply / exhaust heater, a path through which air taken from indoors flows and a path through which combustion gas flows are separated, and heating can be performed without polluting indoor air.
In conventional forced air supply / exhaust heaters, as described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, a large-diameter tube and a small-diameter tube are combined as a heat exchanger for exchanging heat between air taken from indoors and combustion gas. Are known for use. In such a heater, the high-temperature combustion gas immediately after being supplied from the combustor is first received by a large-diameter tube having excellent heat resistance, and the combustion gas having passed through the large-diameter tube and the temperature has decreased is divided into a plurality of small-diameter tubes. Branch. Small-diameter tubes can be easily formed in a bent shape, and multiple small-diameter tubes are bent multiple times in a space that is not occupied by the large-diameter tube, and densely arranged in a space that is not occupied by the large-diameter tube. To do. Using such a configuration, while having a simple structure that is easy to manufacture, it is possible to secure a wide heat transfer area between air and combustion gas taken from indoors without increasing the size of the heater. The efficiency of heat exchange between the gas and the combustion gas can be increased.
At the upstream end of the small-diameter tube where the fuel gas that has passed through the large-diameter tube flows into the small-diameter tube, the flow area of the combustion gas is sharply narrowed. It tends to be hot. If the vicinity of the end portion on the upstream side of the small-diameter tube becomes excessively high in temperature, the connection portion on the upstream side of the small-diameter tube will be damaged. In particular, when caulking and joining the upstream end of the small diameter tube, if the temperature near the upstream end of the small diameter tube becomes excessively high, cracking due to thermal strain, loosening of the caulking, etc. will occur, resulting in heat exchange. The durability as a container will be impaired.
The present invention solves the above problems. In the present invention, in a forced air supply / exhaust heater using a combination of a large-diameter tube and a small-diameter tube as a heat exchanger, it is possible to suppress the vicinity of the upstream end of the small-diameter tube from becoming excessively hot. Provide possible technology.
The present invention is embodied as a heater. The heater includes a combustor that burns fuel to generate combustion gas, a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between the combustion gas from the combustor and the surrounding air, and air from outside to the combustor. A supply / exhaust fan that supplies and exhausts exhaust gas from the heat exchanger to the outside, and a convection fan that takes in indoor air, passes it around the heat exchanger, and sends it out indoors. In the heater, the heat exchanger includes a large-diameter tube that receives combustion gas from the combustor and a plurality of small-diameter tubes that receive combustion gas from the large-diameter tube. In the heater, an end surface is formed at the downstream end portion of the large-diameter tube, and the upstream end portions of the plurality of small-diameter tubes are respectively joined to the plurality of holes formed in the end surface. Yes. In the heater, the end surface is arranged in parallel with the air blowing surface of the convection fan. The “convection fan air blowing surface” mentioned here refers to a surface orthogonal to the flow of air sent from the convection fan toward the heat exchanger.
In the above heater, the end face where the upstream end of the small-diameter tube is joined is arranged so as to face in parallel with the air blowing face of the convection fan that sends the air taken from the indoors toward the heat exchanger Has been. In other words, the end surface to which the upstream end of the small-diameter tube is joined is arranged so as to be orthogonal to the flow of air sent from the convection fan toward the heat exchanger. With such a configuration, the air sent from the convection fan collides with the end surface where the upstream end of the small-diameter tube is joined substantially perpendicularly, so that heat exchange with the air is sufficiently performed, The end face is sufficiently cooled. Thereby, it is possible to suppress the vicinity of the upstream end portion of the small-diameter tube from being excessively heated.
In said heater, it is preferable that the edge part of the upstream of these small diameter tubes is each crimped and joined to the some hole formed in the said end surface.
By caulking and joining the upstream end of the small-diameter tube, the heater can be manufactured more easily. In the above heater, since the vicinity of the upstream end of the small-diameter tube is suppressed from becoming excessively high temperature, the occurrence of cracks due to thermal strain, loosening of the caulking, etc. is prevented at the caulking joint. be able to.
According to the present invention, in a forced air supply / exhaust heater that uses a combination of a large-diameter tube and a small-diameter tube as a heat exchanger, the vicinity of the upstream end of the small-diameter tube is prevented from becoming excessively hot. be able to.
The main features of the embodiments described below are listed below.
(Characteristic 1) A skirt portion is formed at the downstream end portion of the large-diameter tube so as to extend toward the end surface.
Embodiments according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 schematically shows an internal configuration when the
A
Combustion gas is supplied from the
As shown in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, the
In addition, in order to make pressure loss comparable, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the small-
When the combustion gas supplied from the
As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the
In the
When the exhaust gas passes through the
As shown in FIG. 5, in the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, a second
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
In the
In the
