Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a surface modification treatment apparatus, and more particularly to an apparatus for hydrophilizing a surface.
As the surface modification treatment apparatus, an apparatus for hydrophilizing the surface of an object to be treated by the action of ozone and ultraviolet rays using an ultraviolet lamp is disclosed (for example, Patent Documents 1 to 4). In Patent Document 1, the output of the lamp and the positional relationship between the lamp and the object to be processed are set such that the radiation intensity of the ultraviolet ray having a wavelength of 185 nm at the intermediate point in the light transmission direction of the surface of the object to be processed is a predetermined value or more. It is described that the cleaning can be efficiently performed at a high speed by selecting.
In
The above-mentioned

In the above Patent Documents 1 to 4, oxygen in the atmosphere or introduced oxygen is excited by ultraviolet rays in a single processing chamber, and the surface of the object to be processed is hydrophilized by the action of the excited oxygen and ultraviolet rays. That is, since ultraviolet rays having a wavelength of 172 nm or less are easily absorbed by oxygen, the conditions for efficiently exciting oxygen by the ultraviolet rays and the conditions for efficiently breaking molecular bonds on the surface of the object to be processed by the ultraviolet rays are simultaneously optimized. Difficult to set.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
(overall structure)
A surface modification treatment apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 1 includes a

The

The first

The
(Operation and effect)
The operation and effect of each part of the surface modification treatment apparatus 1 configured as described above will be described. First, the
Subsequently, the fifth valve V5 is opened, and the inside of the
Next, the second
Next, the first
In the case of this embodiment, the surface modification processing apparatus 1 is provided with the
The
Furthermore, in this embodiment, the first
図2は、表面改質処理前後の被処理物10の表面に対するXPS(X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy; X線光電子分光)測定の結果である。
FIG. 2 shows the results of XPS (X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) measurement on the surface of the
From this figure, after the surface modification treatment, it was confirmed that the C—C / C—H component decreased and the —O—C═O and C═O components increased greatly. Moreover, the weak satellite peak based on the pi-pi * transition of the pi electron derived from a benzene ring has disappeared. From these results, it is considered that a benzene ring was opened and an O atom was added to the site, whereby a —O—C═O group or a C═O group was newly generated. Further, the contact angle on the surface of the
また、図3は、表面改質処理前後のFT−IR(Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer;フーリエ変換型赤外分光)測定結果である。
FIG. 3 shows FT-IR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer) measurement results before and after the surface modification treatment. From this figure, no change is seen before and after the surface modification treatment. This is because the polyurea on the treated surface is surface-modified only at a depth of several tens of nanometers from the outermost surface, and in the FT-IR waveform, the structure in a deeper region appears mainly as an absorption peak. It is guessed. Although this experimental data was obtained using only the surface modification treatment apparatus 1, the use of the
