Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an exhaust gas purification device, and more particularly to an exhaust gas purification device that includes a first purification unit in an exhaust passage and a second purification unit downstream of the first purification unit.
As a conventional exhaust gas purification device, for example, there is an internal combustion engine disclosed in
The internal combustion engine disclosed in
In this internal combustion engine, the catalyst device includes a catalyst for purifying the exhaust, and a radiating portion that is disposed on the exhaust passage and downstream of the catalyst and converts the thermal energy of the exhaust into radiant energy and radiates the catalyst. Have.
During a cold operation or the like, the catalyst is efficiently heated by the radiant energy from the radiating portion, and the catalyst device is warmed up.
However, in the prior art disclosed in
In this type of prior art, it is necessary to provide a radiating portion formed of a material having a high emissivity separately from the catalyst.
In particular, when another catalyst is provided on the downstream side of the radiating portion, there is a problem that the heat of the exhaust gas is consumed for heating the radiating portion.
When the heat of the exhaust gas is consumed for heating the radiating portion, the temperature of the exhaust gas is reduced due to heat radiation in the radiating portion, and the temperature of the catalyst on the downstream side of the radiating portion is difficult to rise.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to suppress heat radiation of the second purifier provided on the downstream side of the first purifier by heat radiated in the first purifier.

(Second Embodiment)
Next, an exhaust gas purification apparatus according to a second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
The exhaust gas purifying apparatus according to the second embodiment is different from the first embodiment in that the exhaust gas after purification is filled in the housing case.
In the second embodiment, elements common to the first embodiment use the description of the first embodiment and use the same reference numerals.

The exhaust gas purifying apparatus according to each of the above embodiments shows one embodiment of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to each of the above embodiments, and the invention is as follows. Various changes are possible within the scope of the gist.
In each of the above embodiments, the heat radiation surface having higher heat emissivity than the inner surface of the housing case is formed over the entire outer surface of the second purification unit by blackening the outer surface by painting. It is not limited to forming over the whole outer surface of a part. For example, the heat radiation surface may be formed only in a portion of the second purification portion that faces the first purification portion (for example, the facing portion 17D of the second exhaust pipe 17). Also in this case, the second purification unit can absorb the radiant heat from the first purification unit through a heat radiation surface formed at a portion facing the first purification unit.
○ In each of the above embodiments, the space in the storage case is in a gas existing state where air and exhaust gas exist, but the space in the storage case is made to have a gas other than air and exhaust gas. Alternatively, a reduced pressure state including a vacuum may be used. Even when a gas other than air or exhaust gas is present or when the pressure is reduced, heat dissipation from the second purification unit to the housing case can be suppressed, and heat loss in the second purification unit can be reduced.
In each of the above embodiments, the outer surfaces of the first purification unit and the second purification unit are formed to have a heat radiation surface having a higher heat emissivity than the inner surface of the housing case by blackening the outer surface by painting. The formation of the radiation surface is not limited to the blackening of the outer surface. For example, the heat radiation surface may be formed by roughening the outer surface of the first purification unit and the second purification unit by etching or shot blasting.
In each of the above-described embodiments, the “nested” type first purification unit in which the first exhaust pipe is built in the outer cylinder is used, but the first purification unit is not limited to the “nested” type. For example, the 1st purification | cleaning part and the 2nd purification | cleaning part may be connected by the pipe part which just connects the exit end of a 1st exhaust pipe, and the entrance end of a 2nd exhaust pipe.
○ In each of the above embodiments, the second purification unit is provided with a DPF / SCR composite in which the SCR catalyst and the DPF are integrated. However, the second purification unit includes the SCR catalyst and does not include the DPF. Or it is good also as a structure which is provided with DPF and is not provided with an SCR catalyst. In the case where the second purification unit is configured to include an SCR catalyst and not a DPF, the additive injection valve is preferably a reducing agent injection nozzle that injects a reducing agent. In addition, when the second purification unit includes the DPF and does not include the SCR catalyst, the additive injection valve is preferably a fuel injection nozzle that injects fuel for DPF regeneration. In the case of a DPF / SCR composite, a reducing agent injection valve as an additive injection valve and a fuel injection nozzle may be provided close to each other.
