Description

TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a sowing / harvest seed string that can be used for seeding vegetables and the like in a field, even when the vegetables are harvested.

In sowing work, a seed string (also referred to as a seed tape) is widely used.
The device according to Patent Document 1 discloses a basic sowing seed string, and the device according to Patent Document 2 discloses a sowing seed string manufacturing apparatus. This kind of seed string manufacturing apparatus is excellent in that the seed can be held on the tape at an arbitrary number and at substantially arbitrary intervals.
Conventional seeding materials for sowing are water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), paper, rayon nonwoven fabric, cotton nonwoven fabric, etc. After seeding, they dissolve quickly in the soil or biodegrade and disappear by bacteria. Things are chosen. It was a natural choice to achieve smoothness without inhibiting germination, rooting and growth.

However, recently there has been a request to use the seed string not only for sowing but also for harvesting leafy vegetables, and several proposals have been made in connection with this request.
The invention according to Patent Document 3 relates to a sowing method and a sowing machine for leaf vegetables, and a harvesting method, and a mesh tape dedicated to harvesting is embedded above the seeds at the time of sowing. At the time of harvest, leaf vegetables are harvested by pulling up this special mesh tape. In addition, for seeding, both cases of using a water-soluble seed string or sowing without using a seed string by a seeder are expected. As an example, a seeding machine in the case of using a seed string is shown, but the seed string is not used at the time of harvest.

The invention according to Patent Document 4 relates to crop cultivation, a harvesting method, and a crop cultivation tape, and is formed into a long band shape with a non-degradable flexible material and has a plurality of holes at equal intervals along the longitudinal direction. Is used, and a crop cultivation tape having a tape body holding seeds in the hole-piercing portion is used. Since the present invention uses a tape having a plurality of holes formed at equal intervals, it is necessary to separately provide such a material in advance in the material.
In the cultivation of vegetables, the strain varies depending on the cultivation items, varieties, cultivation time, production area and other cultivation conditions, so a huge variety of tapes must be prepared in order to cope with them.

As mentioned above, even if it is a seed tape made of a material (polyethylene, etc.) that has adequate strength according to the nature of the seed and maintains sufficient strength when harvesting, there is no problem in germination and rooting, Although it has been confirmed that it grows smoothly, it is practically impossible to prepare an interval and a hole size corresponding to vegetables for each vegetable. Moreover, although patent document 4 has also described the method for preventing the movement and drop-off | omission of a seed, another member (a cover sheet or a film material) is needed for that purpose.
An object of the present invention is to provide a seed string that reduces the labor of the worker in harvesting and increases the efficiency of the work by adding not only the sowing work but also the convenience of the harvesting work to the seed string. .
Another object of the present invention is to use a conventional seed string manufacturing apparatus without any appropriate hole according to the nature of the seed, so that the interval between the seeds can be arbitrarily adjusted between any strains. The purpose is to provide such a seed string.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a very inexpensive seed string by reducing the number of parts.

In order to achieve the above object, the sowing and harvesting combined use seed string according to claim 1, according to the present invention,
A seed string produced by winding leafy vegetable seeds with a non-degradable stitched tape and winding two threads on the tape in a reverse spiral shape,
The stitches of the tape with stitches are sized so as to prevent the seeds from dropping. After sowing in the field, the stitches penetrate through the stitches to allow germination and rooting. It is characterized by harvesting.
Hereinafter, in the present invention, degradable means biodegradable biodegradable (for example, non-woven fabric, paper) and water-soluble (for example, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film). Those that decompose are used in a generic sense. Moreover, even if it is biodegradable, it will be called non-degradable if it retains sufficient strength until harvest.
According to the present invention, the sowing / harvest / seed seed string according to claim 2 is:
A seed string produced by winding leafy vegetable seeds with a non-degradable stitched tape with a degradable film laminated on the inside, and winding two threads around the tape in a reverse spiral shape,
After seeding the seed string in the field, allowing germination and rooting through the degradable film and the stitches,
After the leaf vegetables are grown, the seed strings are pulled up to harvest the leaf vegetables.
The sowing and harvesting combined use string according to claim 3 according to the present invention is the sowing and harvesting combined use seed string according to claims 1 and 2,
A non-degradable material is used for the two yarns, and the non-degradable knitted tape is reinforced by leaving the knitted tape in a wound state after the leafy vegetables are grown. is there.

According to the sowing harvest combined use seed string with the above configuration, germination, rooting and growth are achieved by the stitch of the tape, and the root of the crop is held by the strength of the tape material, and at the time of harvesting, by pulling up one end of this tape It can be harvested continuously in a so-called sizzling formula. Compared to the conventional work of harvesting one stock at a time by bending or squatting down, the work that can be performed while standing is a significant reduction in the load on the body and a significant reduction in time due to continuous harvesting. In particular, it is effective for vegetables such as small persimmons with high planting density (for example, Hakata all-purpose green onions) and lotus roots (spinach).
In addition, since the conventional seed string manufacturing apparatus can be utilized, the space | interval of a seed etc. can be selected corresponding to a kind. In addition, the strength of the seed string at the time of harvest can be selected in various ways according to the leafy vegetables depending on the material of the tape and the material of the winding thread.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

The sowing / harvest seed string 1 according to the present invention is produced by winding a leaf vegetable seed 2 with a non-degradable knitted tape 3 and winding two winding threads 4 and 5 around the tape 3 in a reverse spiral shape. It is a thing. In this embodiment, the material of the winding threads 4 and 5 is degradable, but non-degradable threads can be used as long as they do not impair the growth of crops.

The main use purpose of the winding thread in the seed string is to fix the seed by enclosing the seed in the tape and then tightening the thread, and the tape material resulting from the conventional use purpose (germination, rooting only) Reinforced to compensate for the weakness, softness, and stretchability of the material, it was necessary to obtain a tensile strength sufficient to withstand laying as a seed string. This is because the tape material alone may stretch or break when laid. And, for this purpose, like a tape, conventionally, after laying in a field, it has to be quickly decomposed in the soil.
Accordingly, the material used was a recycled fiber type (rayon yarn, etc.) or a natural fiber cotton yarn that was corroded and biodegraded in the soil. In this embodiment, this degradable yarn is also used. Is used as the winding threads 4 and 5.
There are also PVA-based water-soluble yarns, but seed strings made of biodegradable nonwoven fabrics need to be immersed in water for germination. At that time, PVA-based water-soluble yarns may be decomposed. Can not do it. In addition, PVA-based water-soluble yarns are extremely expensive compared to other materials, are difficult to handle, and are considered impractical.

FIG. 3A shows the tape 3 partially enlarged.
The weft yarns 3a, 3b, 3c and the warp yarns 3h, 3i, 3j are non-degradable synthetic resin yarns (polyester yarns) and are thermocompression bonded at intersections. Junction points are indicated by x.
If sufficient strength cannot be obtained at the time of harvest due to the relationship between the material, structure, and strength of the tape 3 and germination / rooting / growth, the strength is maintained by selecting the yarn count constituting the tape 3. You can also.
In this embodiment, the stitches composed of vertical and horizontal yarns have a size that can prevent the seed 2 from falling (see FIG. 1B). Seeds 2 germinate and root through the stitches of tape 3 after sowing in the field.
After the leaf vegetables 7 are grown, the harvester (not shown) is moved in the direction of the white arrow in FIG. 4 while the seed string 1 is pulled up by the take-up reel 8, and the leaf vegetables 7 are extracted from the seed string 1. To do.
At this time, the worker detaches the leaf vegetable 7 from the seed string 1 at an appropriate height position while accompanying the harvester and harvests.

In order to ensure germination, rooting, and growth, when the structure (void) of the knitted tape is larger than the seed and the seed cannot be wrapped, a composite material in which conventional materials (PVA, etc.) are pasted together (laminated) Can also be used as a seed string. This embodiment is effective when the seeds such as small pods have a small diameter (1 to 2 mm) and there is a possibility that the growth of the root of the root may be inhibited unless the stitches are made about 6 mm square.
Although the basic configuration is not different from that of Example 1, in this example, a disassembling film 3s is laminated on the tape 3 with stitches so as to be on the inner side (seed side) of the tape as shown in FIG. 3B. is there. A film 3s laminated in this manner is referred to as a film-attached stitched tape 3 ′. As the degradable film 3s, a conventional material (PVA or the like) can be used.

Examples of the material of the degradable film 3s other than the PVA described above include the following.
(Water-soluble degradable material)
Naturally derived starch gelatin semi-synthetic cellulose derivative carboxymethylcellulose (CMC),
Methylcellulose (MC)
Synthetic water-soluble polymer Polyacrylic acid polymer
Polyacrylamide (PAM)
Polyethylene oxide (PEO)
By laminating films 3s of any material selected from these, leaf vegetable seeds 2 smaller than the stitches of the film-attached stitched tape 3 'can be wrapped and wrapped so as not to fall. Similar to the first embodiment, the two winding threads 4 and 5 are wound around the tape 3 ′ enclosing the seed 2 in a reverse spiral shape.
In FIG. 3B, the winding threads 4 and 5 appearing below the non-degradable stitched tape 3 ′ with film are omitted.
After sowing the seed string 1 ′ thus produced in the field, the seed 2 germinates and roots through the stitches of the degradable film 3 s and the stitched tape 3 ′ with the film.
After growing the leaf vegetable 7, the harvester (not shown) is moved in the direction of the white arrow in FIG. 4 while the seed string 1 'is pulled up by the take-up reel 8, and the leaf vegetable 7 is pulled out from the seed string 1'. To harvest.
At this time, the worker removes the leafy vegetables 7 from the seed string 1 'at an appropriate height while accompanying the harvester, and harvests the same as in the first embodiment.
At this time, the degradable film 3s is already dissolved.

In the present invention, if only the tape material is given a tensile strength at the time of harvest, there is a possibility that troubles occur in germination, rooting, and growth. Therefore, in the case where the tensile strength at the time of harvest cannot be obtained by reducing the thickness of the tape material or making it elastic, etc., make the thread that is a constituent element of the seed string non-degradable and the strength of the seed string tape. Is to reinforce.
In such a case, since the yarn is collected at the time of harvesting, it is not necessary to reduce it to the soil as in the prior art. Therefore, it is possible to select appropriately from non-degradable synthetic fibers (polyester, nylon, acrylic, etc.). I can do it. Of course, a biodegradable material (polylactic acid or the like) that requires a considerable time to be decomposed can be selected in the same manner. Polyester yarn, nylon yarn, etc. are materials that are inexpensive and easily available.

The seed string according to Example 3 is obtained by using two threads (4 ′, 5 ′) of a non-degradable material in Example 1 or 2. These two yarns (4 ′, 5 ′) remain in the state where the tape 3 with a knitted tape or the tape 3 ′ with a knitted film is wound even after the leaf vegetables 7 are grown, and the non-degradable tape 3 or 3 ′. Can be reinforced.
Non-degradable polyester yarn was used as a material for the two non-degradable yarns 4 ′ and 5 ′.
The strength of the yarn can be adjusted by changing the thickness of the yarn = the count according to the cultivated crop and the cultivation environment.

(Selection of seed string material)
As for the material of the seed string (tape body and thread) that is not expected to be used at the time of harvesting, PVA is most suitable for water-soluble ones, and non-water-soluble (biodegradable) ones A material made of a naturally derived material such as pulp paper, rayon paper, cotton nonwoven fabric, rayon nonwoven fabric or the like has been used.
The non-water-soluble material is used because the germination treatment can be performed by immersing the seed string in water before embedding it in the field. When sprouting is performed, it must be a non-water-soluble material.
In addition, water-soluble and non-water-soluble degradable materials should be decomposed without any problem during the germination, rooting, and growth process, but mere decomposition leaves fragments or particles in the soil, resulting in soil environment. Therefore, it is preferable to select a material of so-called corrosive (biodegradable) seed string (tape body and thread) that is decomposed by bacteria in the soil.
In the seed string according to the present invention, since the non-decomposed portion of the seed string is finally collected at the time of harvesting, the soil environment need not be considered much. Therefore, the choice of materials is greatly expanded, but considering the final treatment of the collected seed string, a combination of a tape body and a thread that does not impair the environment such as selecting a biodegradable material that does not require incineration is desirable. .

As described above, the embodiment described in detail can be variously modified within the scope of the present invention.
