Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a gaming apparatus such as a slot machine or a pachinko machine that uses a rotating body, and can accurately detect the rotational position of the rotating body during forward and reverse rotation of a stepping motor.
In a conventional slot machine or pachinko machine using a rotating drum, the rotating drum is driven in one direction using a stepping motor.
For example, FIGS. 11 to 13 are for explaining a conventional technique. As shown in FIG. 11, a
The rising edge of the sensor signal of the photo sensor 320 from OFF to ON is detected, and a reset signal is generated as shown in FIG. A pulse counter of a stepping motor (not shown) has been reset based on the reset signal.
However, in the conventional slot machine and the like described above, when the stepping motor is reversely rotated, the rotation detection position is shifted even if the rising edge of the sensor signal from OFF to ON is detected as in the case of normal rotation driving. There was a problem that it was.
That is, in the above-described conventional slot machine or the like, when the rising edge of the sensor signal is detected during forward rotation as shown in FIG. 12, specifically, the proximity to the photosensor 320 in FIG. That is, the edge a of the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 13, during reverse rotation driving, even when the rising edge of the sensor signal is detected as in forward rotation driving, specifically, the light shielding separated from the photosensor 320 in FIG. The other edge b of the
For this reason, the reset timing of the pulse counter of the stepping motor (not shown) is shifted by the width of the
As a result, there is a risk that the rotating drum 300 cannot be stopped at an accurate position, and the symbols displayed on the rotating drum 300 cannot be accurately stopped on the effective line.
It is also possible to correct the shift of the reset position by software. For example, based on normal rotation driving, the reset position for reverse rotation driving can be obtained by calculation, or there are two data tables for normal rotation driving and two data tables for reverse driving. It is also possible to switch tables. However, if the reset position is obtained by calculation every time the sensor signal is read, the burden on the CPU increases, and if there are a plurality of data tables, the memory is compressed.

In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, the edge detection means 351 outputs a reset signal on condition that the read signal changes from on to off when the stepping
Further, assuming that the edges of the read signal and the sensor signal are synchronized, the edge detecting means 351 is turned on when the stepping
In addition to this, as shown in FIG. 6, when the stepping
(Description of drive process of stepping motor 40)
A driving process of the stepping
First, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds to process P5 to determine whether or not there is a drive request. The drive request is included in a command transmitted from the main board 200 to the sub board 300. In the case of the slot machine 10, although not shown, it corresponds to a case where a start switch is operated.
If there is no drive request, the drive process shown in FIG. 7 is terminated.
On the other hand, when there is a drive request, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds to the next process P10 to acquire drive data. The drive data is included in a command transmitted from the main board 200 to the sub board 300. In the case of the slot machine 10, the automatic stop time of the
After obtaining the drive data, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from the process P10 to the next process P11 to determine whether or not the drive direction is normal rotation. This determination is made by the rotation direction selection means 310 in FIG.
As a result of the determination, in the case of normal rotation, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from process P11 to the next process P12, and the stepping
After the forward rotation driving, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from the process P12 to the next process P13, and “1” is added to the counter value of the pulse counter means 330.
After the addition, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from process P13 to process P14 shown in FIG. 8 as will be described later, and drive position detection sensor processing is executed.
After the above processing, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from the process P14 to the next process P15 to determine whether or not there is a stop request. The stop request is included in the command transmitted from the main board 200 to the sub board 300. In the case of the slot machine 10, although not shown, a certain time has elapsed after the stop switch is operated or after the start switch is operated. This is the case.
As a result of the determination, if there is no stop request, as shown in FIG. 7, the process returns from the process P15 to the previous process P10, and the drive data is acquired again.
On the other hand, if there is a stop request as a result of the determination, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from the process P15 to the next process P16 to determine whether or not the drive end condition is satisfied. The drive end condition is included in a command transmitted from the main board 200 to the sub board 300. That is, it is determined whether or not the stepping
The predetermined number is not limited to a maximum of 5 frames, and may be 0 to 4 frames, or 6 frames or more.
For example, assuming that the count value of the pulse counter means 330 corresponding to the symbol stop position specified by the command is “200”, the drive end condition is that the current count value reaches “200”. .
For this reason, when the current count value is “190”, the drive end condition is not satisfied, and as shown in FIG. 7, the process returns from the process P15 to the previous process P10, and the drive data is acquired again.
On the other hand, when the current count value reaches “200”, the drive end condition is satisfied, and the drive process shown in FIG. 7 is ended.
On the other hand, in the case of reverse rotation in the previous process P11, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds to the next process P20, and the stepping
After the reverse drive, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from the process P20 to the next process P21, and “1” is subtracted from the counter value of the pulse counter means 330.
After the subtraction, as shown in FIG. 7, the process proceeds from process P13 to process P14 shown in FIG. 8, which will be described later, and drive position detection sensor processing is executed.
In the case of a pachinko machine, the drive request in the process P5 of FIG. 7 corresponds to a case where a game ball wins a specific winning opening, for example.
In the case of a pachinko machine, the driving data in the process P10 of FIG. 7 corresponds to, for example, acquisition of fluctuation pattern data of the rotating drum when a game ball is won at a specific winning opening.
Further, in the case of a pachinko machine, the stop request in the process P15 of FIG. 7 corresponds to, for example, a case where a fixed time has elapsed after winning a game ball to a specific winning opening.
(Drive position detection sensor processing)
Next, the drive position detection sensor process will be described with reference to FIG.
First, as shown in FIG. 8, the process proceeds to process P30, and it is determined whether or not the drive direction is normal rotation. This determination is made by the rotation direction selection means 310 in FIG.
As a result of the determination, in the case of normal rotation, as shown in FIG. 8, the process proceeds from the process P30 to the next process P31, and it is determined whether or not the rising of the sensor signal is detected. The rising edge of the sensor signal means the rising edge from OFF to ON shown in FIG. The determination is performed by the edge detection means 351 shown in FIG.
As a result of the determination, if the rising edge of the sensor signal is not detected, the process of the drive position detection sensor process is terminated as shown in FIG.
On the other hand, when the rising edge of the sensor signal is detected, the process proceeds from the process P31 to the next process P32 as shown in FIG. 8, and the count value of the pulse counter means 330 is cleared to “0”. That is, when the sensor signal rises, as shown in FIG. 5, a reset signal is output, and the count value of the pulse counter means 330 is cleared to “0” based on the reset signal.
After the count value is cleared, as shown in FIG. 8, the drive position detection sensor process is terminated.
On the other hand, in the case of reverse rotation in the previous process P30, as shown in FIG. 8, the process proceeds to the next process P40 and it is determined whether or not the falling edge of the sensor signal is detected. The falling edge of the sensor signal means the falling edge from on to off shown in FIG. The determination is performed by the edge detection means 351 shown in FIG.
As a result of the determination, if the falling edge of the sensor signal is not detected, the process of the drive position detection sensor process is terminated as shown in FIG.
On the other hand, when the trailing edge of the sensor signal is detected, as shown in FIG. 8, the process proceeds from the process P40 to the next process P41, and the count value of the pulse counter means 330 is cleared to “0”. That is, when the sensor signal falls, as shown in FIG. 6, a reset signal is output, and the count value of the pulse counter means 330 is cleared to “0” based on the reset signal.

(Second Embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS.
In this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 9 to 10, the sensor signal and the read timing of the read signal are shifted.
In this case, as shown in FIGS. 9 to 10, the reset signal is output based on the change in the state of the read signal.
