Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine.
A conventional example of an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine (see Patent Document 1) will be described. FIG. 11 is a block diagram showing an internal combustion engine equipped with an exhaust gas recirculation device.
As shown in FIG. 11, the exhaust
In the conventional exhaust
An object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine that can be maintenance-free.
The above-mentioned problem can be solved by an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine having the structure described in the claims.
That is, according to the exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine according to claim 1, the condensed water is separated from the EGR gas flowing in the EGR passage by the condensed water separating means provided in the EGR passage. The condensed water separated from the EGR gas is stored in the tank. The condensed water stored in the tank is sucked by the ejector provided in the EGR passage using the flow of the EGR gas and sprayed into the EGR passage, so that the condensed water is introduced into the intake passage together with the EGR gas. Therefore, maintenance-free can be achieved by treating the condensed water in the intake system.
According to the exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine according to
According to the exhaust gas recirculation apparatus for an internal combustion engine described in claim 3, the ejector is provided with a plate having a large number of small holes for atomizing condensed water. Therefore, the sprayed condensed water particles can be atomized by the plate having a large number of small holes.
According to the exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine described in claim 4, the tank is provided with a discharge passage for discharging condensed water to the outside and an opening / closing means for opening and closing the discharge passage. Therefore, the condensed water in the tank can be discharged from the discharge passage to the outside by opening the opening / closing means during maintenance. Further, the condensed water can be stored in the tank by closing the opening / closing means.
Further, according to the exhaust gas recirculation apparatus for an internal combustion engine according to claim 5, the condensed water is separated from the EGR gas flowing through the EGR passage by the condensed water separating means provided in the EGR passage. The condensed water separated from the EGR gas is stored in the tank. The condensed water stored in the tank is sucked by the ejector provided in the bypass passage of the exhaust passage using the flow of the exhaust and sprayed to the bypass passage, so that the condensed water is introduced into the exhaust passage together with the exhaust. Therefore, maintenance-free can be achieved by treating the condensed water in the exhaust system.
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[Example 1]
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram showing an exhaust gas recirculation device for an internal combustion engine, and FIG. 2 is a configuration diagram showing the exhaust gas recirculation device.
As shown in FIG. 1, an internal combustion engine (for example, a diesel engine) 10 for a vehicle includes an engine
The
An
An exhaust
The
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
The
The
The downstream end of the
The
According to the exhaust
Further, as the EGR gas is cooled by the latent heat of vaporization of the condensed water sprayed to the
The condensed water separation means is an

Since the present embodiment is a modification of the first embodiment, the changed portion will be described and redundant description will be omitted. Also, in the following embodiments, the changed parts will be described, and redundant description will be omitted. FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing a condensed water treatment apparatus.
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the

[Example 5]
A fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described. This embodiment is a modification of the first embodiment. FIG. 7 is a block diagram showing a condensed water treatment apparatus.
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7, the
