Description
The present invention relates to a gas turbine power plant that uses as a by-product gas generated as a result of factory operation as a fuel, and in particular, can flexibly cope with a by-product gas that varies depending on the operation status of the factory, and is stable. The present invention relates to a gas turbine power plant capable of generating power automatically.
FIG. 2 is a process flow diagram showing a schematic configuration of a conventional gas turbine power generation facility that uses by-product gas such as blast furnace gas generated along with the operation of a steel mill as fuel. In the gas turbine power generation facility 1 that uses low pressure, low calorific value fuel such as blast furnace gas, the blast furnace gas, which is a low calorific value gas, is mixed with the high calorific value gas via the mixer 2 to increase the fuel gas. Is pressurized by an axial flow type fuel compressor 3 and supplied to the combustor 4, and mixed with high-pressure air sent from the air compressor 5 and combusted. The combustion gas serves as a drive source for the gas turbine 6. The gas turbine 6 drives the air compressor 5 and the fuel compressor 3, and also drives the
The axial flow compressor used for the fuel compressor 3 has a wide surging range, and surging occurs when the flow rate of the fuel gas to be sucked is below a predetermined flow rate. A part of the discharge gas (fuel gas) is circulated through the fuel
In the gas turbine power generation facility 1, even if the flow rate of the fuel gas sucked into the fuel compressor 3 in the rated output operation is equal to or higher than a predetermined flow rate, a part of the fuel gas that has become high temperature and high pressure by the fuel compressor 3 is controlled. Therefore, there is a problem that energy is wasted because it is cooled by the
In addition to the above problems, the gas turbine power generation facility 1 has the following problems. In the gas turbine power generation facility 1, since it is necessary to boost a large amount of blast furnace gas or the like with the fuel compressor 3, much power (electric power) generated in the gas turbine is consumed, and the generated power amount is reduced. In addition, since blast furnace gas contains a large amount of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, a combustion range is narrow and an advanced combustion management technique is required. In addition, since the gas turbine power generation facility 1 uses as a by-product gas such as blast furnace gas generated by the operation of the steel plant as a fuel, the amount of gas, gas composition, Gas calorific value fluctuates greatly. In particular, if the high calorific value gas for increasing the calorific value of the fuel gas to a predetermined calorific value is insufficient, sufficient power generation cannot be performed even with a large amount of blast furnace gas.
At present, no technology to solve these problems has been developed, and development is awaited. It goes without saying that it is more preferable if these problems and the above-mentioned wasteful consumption of energy can be solved together. Furthermore, today, there is a demand for an environment-friendly facility and plant, and it is preferable that the facility and plant meet this requirement.
An object of the present invention is to provide a gas turbine power plant that uses an by-product gas as a fuel that is easy to operate, can stably generate power, and can further increase the amount of generated power. .
The present invention according to claim 1 is a fuel compressor that pressurizes low-pressure by-product gas that is secondarily generated from a factory, a combustor that combusts the by-product gas pressurized by the fuel compressor, and the combustor. Gas turbine power generation equipment equipped with an air compressor and a generator that send compressed air to the air, and after removing and dehumidifying the by-product gas, carbon dioxide in the by-product gas is recovered and removed as dry ice to remove and remove carbon dioxide The gas turbine power generation facility is a gas turbine power plant that uses by-product gas from which carbon dioxide has been removed or by-product gas from which carbon dioxide has been reduced as fuel.
The present invention according to claim 2 is the gas turbine power plant, wherein the gas turbine power generation facility further includes a mixer for adjusting a calorific value, and the by-product gas adjusted by the mixer is used as fuel. A gas turbine power generation facility, wherein the by-product gas includes a high calorific value gas that has a higher calorific value compared to blast furnace gas and blast furnace gas and mixes with the blast furnace gas to increase the calorific value to a predetermined calorific value, and the carbon dioxide The removal equipment is characterized by removing carbon dioxide in the blast furnace gas before being sent to the mixer.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the gas turbine power plant according to the first or second aspect, the gas turbine power generation facility further returns a fuel gas that circulates a part of the fuel gas boosted by the fuel compressor. A high-temperature, high-pressure fuel gas flowing through the fuel gas return line, and a generator connected to the expansion turbine, and the electric power generated by the generator is It is used as a power source for carbon removal equipment.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the gas turbine power plant according to the present invention has a carbon dioxide removal facility for recovering and removing carbon dioxide contained in the by-product gas as dry ice, and the gas turbine power generation facility. Since the byproduct gas from which carbon dioxide has been removed or the byproduct gas from which carbon dioxide has been reduced is used as a fuel, the calorific value of the fuel gas increases, operation management becomes easy, and stable operation can be realized. By increasing the calorific value of the fuel gas, power generation can be continued even when the high calorific value gas for increasing heat is insufficient. Furthermore, the amount of process gas is reduced by removing or reducing carbon dioxide that does not contribute to the calorific value contained in the byproduct gas. This can reduce the compression power of the fuel compressor and increase the amount of power generation. Furthermore, since the amount of the processing gas is reduced, not only the fuel compressor but also equipment such as connected pipes and valves can be made compact.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the blast furnace gas after carbon dioxide is removed or reduced by the carbon dioxide removal equipment can be sent to the mixer for adjusting the calorific value, the carbon dioxide removal equipment As a result of fluctuations in the amount of carbon dioxide removed due to trouble, even if the calorific value of the blast furnace gas fluctuates, the calorific value can be adjusted using the high calorific value gas in the mixer. Accordingly, the gas turbine power generation facility can be stably operated continuously regardless of the operation status of the carbon dioxide removal facility.
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the high-temperature, high-pressure fuel gas flowing through the fuel gas return line is used to generate power, and this power can be used as a power source for the carbon dioxide removal facility. Effective use of energy can be achieved. Further, since the fuel gas flowing through the fuel gas return line is expanded by the expansion turbine, the temperature of the fuel gas is lowered. As a result, the cooling equipment for cooling the fuel gas can be made compact.
FIG. 1 is a process flow diagram showing a schematic configuration of a gas
The gas turbine
Since the pressure of the blast furnace gas and the mix gas, which are fuels of the gas turbine
The fuel
An example of a calculation result obtained by applying energy that can be recovered by the
The high-temperature and high-pressure return gas flowing through the fuel
The
As described above, in the gas turbine
The fuel
Since the second gas return
The fuel gas is supplied to the
The carbon
The
The
The
The
The
The
The liquid
The carbon

The low-temperature blast furnace gas from which carbon dioxide has been removed by dry ice in the
The blast
The gas
When carbon dioxide is removed from the blast furnace gas, the amount of fuel gas required by the

In the above embodiment, the by-product gas sent from the steel works has been described as an example, but the by-product gas is not limited to the by-product gas sent from the steel works, and the by-product gas sent from a chemical factory or the like. Needless to say, it can be used.
