Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rotor for a rotating electrical machine having a cylindrical rotor core formed by laminating a plurality of annular plate-like members and a rotor shaft fixed so as to rotate integrally with the rotor core.
Conventionally, a rotating electrical machine has been used as one of driving power sources over various devices. Such a rotating electrical machine is generally configured to include a stator having a coil and a rotor having a permanent magnet. In addition, since the rotating electrical machine often requires a large output from the driven device, the amount of heat generated from each part of the rotating electrical machine, particularly from the coil or permanent magnet, increases. One of the causes of such heat generation is copper loss and iron loss.
Copper loss is a loss that always occurs when a current flows through a coil regardless of the magnitude of the current, and increases in proportion to the square of the current flowing through the coil. On the other hand, iron loss consists of hysteresis loss and eddy current loss, and is generated when a magnetic material is placed in an alternating magnetic field. Hysteresis loss is a loss that occurs when the magnetic domain of the iron core changes the direction of the magnetic field by an alternating magnetic field, and eddy current loss is a loss caused by eddy current that occurs when the magnetic flux changes inside the conductor. Since these losses are dissipated as thermal energy, that is, Joule heat, the coils and permanent magnets of the rotating electrical machine generate heat.
It is known that when such heat generation proceeds excessively and the permanent magnet reaches the Curie temperature, it does not function as a magnetic material. For this reason, some rotating electrical machines are provided with cooling means capable of appropriately cooling the permanent magnet. As this type of cooling means, for example, there is one described in
The rotating electrical machine disclosed in
When the cooling path is formed in a spiral shape with respect to the rotating shaft as disclosed in
In addition, since the boundary surface between the rotor core and the cooling path is formed in a spiral shape, when the heat quantity of the permanent magnet is large, there is a portion located between the cooling paths adjacent to each other on the peripheral surface of the rotating shaft. May not be able to cool sufficiently. Furthermore, in the spiral groove, the rotary shaft is easily subjected to the rotational reaction force of the refrigerant, and kinetic energy acting on the rotary shaft is consumed as the refrigerant moves. That is, a part of the kinetic energy generated by the rotating electrical machine is consumed to rotate the refrigerant, so that energy efficiency may be deteriorated.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a rotor for a rotating electrical machine capable of cooling without causing a temperature difference in a permanent magnet and reducing the influence of a rotational reaction force received from a refrigerant. is there.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the characteristic configuration of the rotor for a rotating electrical machine according to the present invention includes a cylindrical rotor core formed by laminating a plurality of annular plate members, and fixed so as to rotate integrally with the rotor core. And a rotor circulation body that is provided on a radially inner side of the rotor core and that is supplied and circulated with the refrigerant, and discharges the refrigerant from the refrigerant circulation space toward the outer side in the rotor radial direction. A coolant discharge port, and a cooling inner peripheral surface provided in at least a partial region in the rotor axial direction and exposing the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core with respect to the refrigerant circulation space over the entire rotor circumferential direction. It is in having. Note that the refrigerant circulation space only needs to be inside in the rotor radial direction with respect to the inner circumferential surface of the rotor core, and may not be in a positional relationship overlapping with the rotor core as seen from the radial outside.
With such a characteristic configuration, the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core can be directly cooled over the entire circumferential direction of the rotor by supplying the refrigerant, so that the rotor for the rotating electrical machine can be uniformly cooled from the inner peripheral surface. Is possible. Therefore, for example, when a plurality of permanent magnets are provided in the rotor circumferential direction in the rotor for a rotating electrical machine, it is possible to appropriately cool the permanent magnets without causing a temperature difference. Further, since the cooling inner peripheral surface is formed so that the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core is exposed over the entire rotor circumferential direction, the refrigerant in the refrigerant circulation space moves relative to the rotor for the rotating electrical machine in the circumferential direction. There is nothing to prevent. Therefore, the rotational reaction force that the rotating electrical machine rotor receives from the refrigerant due to the inertia when the rotational speed of the rotating electrical machine rotor changes can be reduced. For this reason, since the kinetic energy used in order for a rotary electric machine to rotate a refrigerant | coolant can be restrained little, the energy efficiency of a rotary electric machine can be improved. Further, even in such a configuration, when the rotating electrical machine rotor rotates at a predetermined speed or more, the refrigerant contacts the entire circumferential direction of the cooling inner peripheral surface by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotating electrical machine rotor. State.
The refrigerant circulation space is provided on each side of the cooling space portion surrounded by the cooling inner peripheral surface and the cooling space portion in the rotor axial direction, and has an inner diameter smaller than that of the cooling space portion. It is preferable to have a small-diameter portion.
With such a configuration, a predetermined amount of refrigerant can be stored in a space radially outside the small diameter portion in the cooling space portion. Therefore, it is possible to efficiently cool the cooling inner peripheral surface exposed in the cooling space.
Further, it is preferable that the refrigerant discharge port is formed with an opening on the inner peripheral surface of the small diameter portion.
With such a configuration, the refrigerant fills the space radially outside the small-diameter portion in the cooling space portion, and then is discharged from the refrigerant discharge port through the opening, so that it remains in the cooling space portion and cools the rotor. It becomes possible to adjust the amount of the refrigerant appropriately.
In addition, it is preferable that the small diameter portion is formed by a part of the rotor shaft body inserted into the rotor core so as to be in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core.
With such a configuration, the cooling space portion and the small-diameter portion can be formed by the rotor core obtained by laminating the annular members having the same shape and a part of the rotor shaft body. Therefore, it becomes possible to form the rotor for a rotating electrical machine at a low cost.
The rotor shaft body preferably includes a first shaft body attached to one side in the rotor axial direction with respect to the rotor core and a second shaft body attached to the other side in the rotor axial direction with respect to the rotor core. .
With such a configuration, the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core can be easily exposed in the region between the first shaft body and the second shaft body, so that the refrigerant circulation space is spread over the entire rotor circumferential direction. The cooling inner peripheral surface formed by exposing the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core can be appropriately formed.
In addition, it is preferable that the rotor core, the first shaft body, and the second shaft body are coupled by a penetrating member that penetrates the rotor core in the rotor axial direction.
With such a configuration, the rotor core is sandwiched between the first shaft body and the second shaft body and is coupled through the rotor core with the penetrating member, so the rotor core, the first shaft body, and the second shaft body Can be made strong.
Further, the rotor core, the first shaft body and the second shaft body are inserted into the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core and the first shaft body and the second shaft body inserted into the rotor core, respectively. It is preferable that relative rotation is restricted by splines formed on both the outer peripheral surfaces of the parts.
With such a configuration, since the rotor core, the first shaft body, and the second shaft body are spline-coupled, the coupling between the rotor core, the first shaft body, and the second shaft body in the rotational direction is strong. can do.
In addition, it is preferable that the refrigerant discharge port is an injection hole that injects the refrigerant toward a coil end portion of a stator disposed on the radially outer side of the rotor core.
With such a configuration, it is possible to further cool the coil end portion of the stator using the refrigerant after cooling the rotor for the rotating electrical machine. Therefore, the entire rotating electrical machine can be efficiently cooled.
Further, it is preferable that the cooling inner peripheral surface is a smooth cylindrical surface over the entire region in the circumferential direction of the rotor.
With such a configuration, since the refrigerant can smoothly move along the cooling inner peripheral surface in accordance with the rotation of the rotor for the rotating electrical machine, the rotational reaction force that the rotor for the rotating electrical machine receives from the refrigerant can be reduced. Can do. Therefore, the energy loss due to the rotational reaction force can be reduced, so that the energy efficiency of the rotating electrical machine can be increased.
Hereinafter, the rotor R for rotating electrical machines (hereinafter referred to as “rotor R”) according to the present invention will be described. Although details will be described later, the rotor R is in a state in which a coolant (corresponding to the “refrigerant” according to the present invention) is in contact with the entire inner circumferential surface of the rotor core RC in the circumferential direction. The surface can be directly cooled. In addition, although it is suitable for this cooling fluid to use general cooling oil, it is not limited to this.
FIG. 1 is a side sectional view of a rotating electrical machine M in which a rotor R according to the present embodiment is disposed. FIG. 2 is a view showing a cross section taken along line II-II in FIG. As shown in FIG. 1, the rotating electrical machine M is configured such that the stator S and the rotor R are accommodated in a space formed by the case body MC1 and a cover MC2 that covers the opening of the case body MC1. The stator S is fixed to the case body MC1. Note that the case main body MC1 and the cover MC2 correspond to a case for housing the rotating electrical machine M. Therefore, in the following description, if it is not necessary to distinguish between the case main body MC1 and the cover MC2, both cases Explanation will be given as MC1 and MC2.
The rotating electrical machine M can output the driving force (rotational power) generated by the rotating electrical machine M to the outside of the rotating electrical machine M. In such a case, the rotating electrical machine M functions as an electric motor. Further, by transmitting a driving force (rotational power) to the rotating electrical machine M from the outside, the rotating electrical machine M can function as a generator that generates power. This embodiment demonstrates using the example in case the rotary electric machine M is functioning as an electric motor.
The rotating electrical machine M that functions as an electric motor acquires rotational power by electromagnetic action between the coil C and the permanent magnet PM (see FIG. 2). Since the acquisition of the rotational power is a known technique, description thereof is omitted. In the present embodiment, description will be made assuming that the coil C is provided in the stator S and the permanent magnet PM is provided in the rotor R.
The rotor R includes a cylindrical rotor core RC formed by stacking a plurality of annular plate members, and a
A
The
The
The
The rotor R having such a rotor core RC and the
The
The cooling inner peripheral surface CP is a surface that is provided in at least a partial region in the rotor axial direction and exposes the inner peripheral surface of the rotor core RC with respect to the refrigerant circulation space R1 over the entire rotor peripheral direction. As described above, the
In particular, the cooling inner circumferential surface CP according to the present embodiment exposes the inner circumferential surface of the rotor core RC over the entire region in the rotor circumferential direction as shown in FIG. For this reason, the coolant in the refrigerant circulation space R1 is likely to move relative to the rotor R in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the rotational reaction force that the rotor R receives from the coolant due to inertia when the rotational speed of the rotor R changes. Can be reduced. Therefore, since the kinetic energy used for the rotating electrical machine to rotate the coolant can be reduced, the energy efficiency of the rotating electrical machine can be increased.
The refrigerant circulation space R1 includes a
The rotating shaft A is rotatably supported with respect to the case main body MC1 and the case MC2 via the support bearing BRG so as to be rotatable integrally with the rotor core RC. In FIG. 1, an example in which the rotation axis A is provided at both ends of the rotating electrical machine M is shown. The rotation axis A will be described with one rotation axis attached with a symbol Aa and the other rotation shaft attached with a symbol Ab when distinction is necessary. One rotating shaft Aa is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the
A refrigerant flow passage A1 is formed in the central portion of the rotation shaft Aa. The refrigerant flow passage A1 is formed with a refrigerant supply port A2 for supplying a coolant from the refrigerant flow passage A1 to the refrigerant circulation space R1. The refrigerant supply port A2 is formed with a disk-like return portion A3 so that the inner diameter thereof is smaller than the inner diameter of the refrigerant flow passage A1. The return part A3 is provided such that the axis of the return part A3 coincides with the axis of the refrigerant supply port A2. Accordingly, it is possible to appropriately prevent the coolant once supplied from the refrigerant flow passage A1 to the refrigerant circulation space R1 from returning to the refrigerant flow passage A1 (reverse flow to the refrigerant flow passage A1). In the present embodiment, an example in which the refrigerant flow passage A1 is formed only on one rotation axis Aa is shown, but it is naturally possible to form the refrigerant flow passage A1 also on the rotation axis Ab. is there. In such a case, it is preferable that the return portion A3 is formed also in the refrigerant supply port A2 of the refrigerant flow passage A1 on the rotation axis Ab side.
As described above, the rotor R is provided with the
3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. In particular, FIG. 3A shows a state where the rotor R is not rotating, and the case main body MC1, the stator S, and the like are omitted. As shown in FIG. 3A, the rotor R is provided with a plurality of permanent magnets PM. Further, as described above, the radially inner side of the rotor R, that is, a part of the through
FIG. 3B shows a cross-sectional view taken along the line III-III in FIG. 1 when the rotor R is rotated (particularly at high speed). During such high-speed rotation of the rotor R, the coolant comes into contact with the cooling inner peripheral surface CP due to the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotor R. Also at this time, the rotor R can store the coolant in a space radially outside the
Further, the cooling inner peripheral surface CP is formed as a smooth cylindrical surface over the entire region in the rotor circumferential direction. As a result, the cooling liquid can smoothly move relative to the rotation of the rotor R along the cooling inner peripheral surface CP, so that the rotational reaction force that the rotor R receives from the cooling liquid can be reduced. Therefore, the energy loss caused by the rotational reaction force can be reduced, so that the energy efficiency of the rotating electrical machine M can be increased.
Here, the rotor core RC included in the rotating electrical machine M according to the present embodiment is formed so as to be supported by the rotating shaft A via the
A plurality of such penetrating
The stator S is disposed outside the rotor core RC in the radial direction, and includes a stator core SC that is fixed to the case body MC1. The coil end CE of the coil C wound around the stator core SC is configured to be positioned on both outer sides in the axial direction of the stator core SC. Stator core SC is formed by laminating a number of disk-shaped steel plates along the axial direction of rotor core RC.
Coil C is formed by winding a conducting wire around stator core SC. Such a coil C is provided on the inner peripheral side of the stator core SC and is inserted into a plurality of slots, and a portion of the coil C that connects the two slots protrudes from the stator core SC at both axial ends. The projecting portions that project from the stator core SC to both axial ends are the coil ends CE.
As described above, the coolant supplied to the coolant circulation space R1 from the coolant flow passage A1 formed in the central portion of the rotation shaft A is in contact with the cooling inner peripheral surface CP by the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotor R. Thus, the permanent magnet PM can be appropriately cooled. Even in the state where the rotor R is rotating in this way, the coolant is stored in a space radially outside the
The
Thus, according to the present rotor R, it is possible to cool the rotor R uniformly while reducing the rotational reaction force of the coolant, and further cool the stator S.

(1) In the above-described embodiment, the cooling
As shown in FIG. 5, such a flow
(2) In the above embodiment, the rotor core RC, the
The spline is an

(3) In the above embodiment, the case where the
