Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a marine vessel denitration apparatus mounted on a ship suitable for use in denitration of exhaust gas from, for example, a diesel engine, and a marine vessel equipped with the same.
In order to remove nitrogen oxide (NOx) generated from a diesel engine (main engine) for ship propulsion, a denitration device is mounted on the ship.
Patent Document 1 listed below discloses an invention that enables generation of ammonia used as a reducing agent for a denitration catalyst on a ship. Since ammonia can be generated on the ship, there is no need to transport liquid ammonia to the ship and store it in the ship. In addition, liquid ammonia is treated as a hazardous material, so special storage facilities such as leak detection sensors and double pipes need to be provided. However, if only a necessary amount of ammonia is generated on the ship, special storage facilities are required. There is no.
In order to generate ammonia on a ship, electric energy for driving water electrolysis, a conveyance pump, etc. is required. In the said patent document 1, utilizing the electric power from the diesel engine generator as an auxiliary machine is shown.
However, since diesel engine generators generally have lower thermal efficiency than the main engine, obtaining power from diesel engine generators further wastes energy to produce ammonia, which is preferable from the viewpoint of energy saving. Absent.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a marine denitration apparatus capable of supplying electrical energy necessary for producing ammonia as a denitration reducing agent with low energy consumption and a ship equipped with the marine denitration apparatus. The purpose is to provide.
In order to solve the above problems, a marine vessel denitration apparatus of the present invention and a marine vessel equipped with the same adopt the following means.
That is, the marine vessel denitration apparatus according to the present invention has a hydrogen production unit that produces hydrogen from water and a nitrogen production unit that produces nitrogen from air, and the hydrogen produced by the hydrogen production unit and the nitrogen production unit A marine vessel equipped with an ammonia generator that generates ammonia from nitrogen produced by the above and a denitration catalyst unit that is provided in an exhaust gas passage of a main engine for marine propulsion and that performs exhaust gas denitration together with ammonia generated by the ammonia generator In the denitration apparatus, a power generation output of a generator that generates power using exhaust energy of the main engine is supplied to the ammonia generator.
The ammonia generator has a hydrogen production unit that produces hydrogen from water and a nitrogen production unit that produces nitrogen from air, and generates ammonia using hydrogen and nitrogen produced by the hydrogen production unit and nitrogen production. In this way, ammonia can be generated on the ship using water and air as raw materials, so there is no need to provide a space on the ship for storing a reducing agent such as liquid ammonia (for example, an aqueous ammonia solution) or urea. Therefore, the marine vessel denitration apparatus can be installed in the vessel without securing a large space.
Further, since the power generation output of the generator that generates power using the exhaust energy of the main engine is supplied to the ammonia generator, the ammonia generator can be operated with less energy consumption. Further, since the exhaust energy of the main engine can be used effectively, it is possible to avoid an increase in capacity or an increase in the number of auxiliary power generators such as a diesel engine generator provided separately.
Further, in the marine vessel denitration apparatus of the present invention, the ammonia generated by the ammonia generator is directly supplied to the exhaust gas passage of the main engine without being stored.
Since the ammonia generated by the ammonia generator is directly supplied to the exhaust gas passage without being stored in the middle, it is not necessary to take measures for leakage required when storing ammonia, and the incidental equipment can be minimized. .
Further, since ammonia is directly supplied to the exhaust gas passage, the expansion of the leakage damage can be minimized by stopping the ammonia production at the time when the leakage is detected. Thereby, the reliability of the denitration apparatus is improved.
Further, in the marine vessel denitration apparatus of the present invention, a supercharger-side generator that generates electric power by obtaining a rotational output of an exhaust turbine supercharger of the main engine is used as the generator.
A hybrid exhaust turbine supercharger is known as a supercharger including a supercharger-side generator that generates power by obtaining the rotational output of an exhaust turbine supercharger of a main engine. This supercharger-side generator was used as a generator for supplying power to the ammonia generator. Thereby, the exhaust energy of the main engine can be used effectively.
Further, in the marine vessel denitration apparatus of the present invention, a power turbine side generator that generates power by a power turbine using the exhaust gas of the main engine as a drive source is used as the generator.
The output power of the power turbine side generator that generates power with the power turbine that uses the exhaust gas of the main engine as the drive source is used for the ammonia generator. Thereby, the exhaust energy of the main engine can be used effectively.
Furthermore, in the marine vessel denitration apparatus of the present invention, power is generated by a power turbine that uses exhaust gas from the main engine as a drive source, and a steam turbine that uses steam generated by an exhaust gas boiler that uses exhaust gas from the main engine as a drive source. A heterogeneous turbine-side generator is used as the generator.
Different types of turbines such as a power turbine and a steam turbine are connected to the different turbine-side generator. By using this heterogeneous turbine-side generator, in addition to a power turbine that uses exhaust gas from the main engine as a drive source, a steam turbine that uses steam generated by an exhaust gas boiler that uses exhaust gas from the main engine as a drive source is also used. Therefore, the exhaust energy of the main engine can be used more effectively.
The amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) generated from the main engine is approximately proportional to the main engine load. Since the hybrid exhaust turbine supercharger, the power turbine, or the steam turbine obtains electric power from the rotational output thereof, the electric power generation output corresponding to the main engine load can be obtained. Therefore, since the required power for generating the necessary ammonia amount for denitration and the main engine load are roughly proportional, the influence on the main engine can be reduced.
In addition, when generating power using the exhaust energy of the main engine, the amount of air sent to the main engine by the exhaust turbine supercharger decreases. To rise. In a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) SCR catalyst mainly used as a denitration catalyst part, there is a risk of poisoning as the exhaust gas temperature becomes lower. According to the present invention, since the exhaust gas temperature rises, poisoning of the SCR catalyst can be prevented. In particular, when a two-stroke diesel engine is used as the main engine, the exhaust gas temperature is low, which is effective. Furthermore, it is possible to increase the exhaust gas temperature by increasing the power generation amount of the hybrid exhaust turbine supercharger or the power turbine to the extent that the influence of poisoning of the SCR catalyst becomes zero. In this case, surplus power is generated, but the capacity of the diesel engine generator as an auxiliary machine can be reduced or reduced by reviewing the system configuration of the entire engine room.
Moreover, the ship of this invention is provided with the main engine for ship propulsion, and the ship's denitration apparatus in any one of the above.
Any of the above-described marine vessel denitration devices can be configured in a compact manner, and thus is suitable for being mounted on a marine vessel.
According to the present invention, since the power generation output of the generator that generates power using the exhaust energy of the main engine is used for ammonia generation, the marine vessel denitration apparatus can be operated with less energy consumption.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, the following operational effects are obtained.
Since the
Since the power generation output of the
Since the ammonia produced by the
Since ammonia is directly supplied to the second exhaust pipe L2, the expansion of leakage damage can be minimized by stopping ammonia generation at the time when leakage is detected. Thereby, the reliability of the denitration apparatus 1 is improved.

[Second Embodiment]
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In the first embodiment described above, the power generation output from the hybrid exhaust turbine supercharger 5 (see FIG. 1) is used for the denitration device, whereas in this embodiment, the power turbine (gas turbine) is used. The difference is that the power generation output is used in the denitration apparatus. Therefore, other common configurations are denoted by the same reference numerals, and description thereof is omitted.
