Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a polyurea film and a film forming method thereof.
A substrate made of metal or the like for the purpose of flattening irregularities on the surface of the substrate, imparting heat insulation to the substrate, forming a protective film on the surface of the substrate, and improving the slipperiness of the surface of the substrate A polymer film may be formed on the surface of the film.
As such a polymer film, a polyurea film formed of polyurea obtained by polymerizing amine and isocyanate is used in various fields.
Conventionally, as a method for forming a polyurea film, a wet method, a vapor deposition polymerization method, or the like is used.
Among these film forming methods, the wet method is a method in which a raw material monomer is dissolved in an appropriate solvent, polymerized, and applied onto a substrate.
On the other hand, the vapor deposition polymerization method is a method in which raw material monomers are evaporated, introduced into a vacuum processing chamber, and polymerized on the surface of a substrate to form a polymer film. This method has an advantage that a film can be formed without using a solvent and the film can be applied to the surface of the substrate.
It is disclosed that a polyurea film that does not cause thermal decomposition even when heated to 230 to 300 ° C. is obtained by irradiating a polyurea film formed by vapor deposition polymerization with ultraviolet rays (for example, Patent Document 1). Although this polyurea film has resistance to acetone, alkali, and ultraviolet rays, the resistance to alcohol is not sufficient.
Therefore, in order to impart resistance to alcohol to the polyurea film, an aliphatic diamine monomer and an aliphatic diisocyanate monomer are used as raw material monomers, and these raw material monomers are formed by polyurea that is polymerized by vapor deposition polymerization. A disclosed polyurea film is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 2).
However, even the polyurea film disclosed in Patent Document 2 is not sufficiently resistant to some chemicals such as 2-propanol (isopropyl alcohol).
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a polyurea film having better chemical resistance and a film forming method thereof.
The polyurea film of the present invention is a film formed of polyurea obtained by polymerizing an alicyclic polyamine and an alicyclic polyisocyanate by a vapor deposition polymerization method.
The alicyclic polyamine is preferably 4,4′-methylenebiscyclohexylamine.
The method for forming a polyurea film according to the present invention mixes raw material gases obtained by heating and vaporizing two kinds of raw material monomers respectively injected into two evaporation sources to form a mixed gas, and the mixed gas is evacuated. A polyurea film forming method in which the two kinds of raw material monomers are vapor-deposited and polymerized on the surface of the object to be processed to form a film made of a polyurea film on the surface of the object to be processed. The alicyclic polyamine and the alicyclic polyisocyanate are used as the two kinds of raw material monomers.
The alicyclic polyamine is preferably 4,4′-methylenebiscyclohexylamine.
According to the polyurea film of the present invention, since it is a film formed by polyurea obtained by polymerizing an alicyclic polyamine and an alicyclic polyisocyanate by a vapor deposition polymerization method, it is superior in chemical resistance than before, White turbidity due to chemicals and difficult to peel off from the surface of the object.
According to the method for forming a polyurea film of the present invention, a polyurea film is formed on the surface of an object by vapor deposition polymerization using alicyclic polyamine and alicyclic polyisocyanate as raw material monomers. Therefore, it is possible to easily form a polyurea film that has a uniform film thickness, is transparent, and has better chemical resistance than the conventional one over the entire surface of the object to be processed.
Embodiments of the polyurea film and the film forming method of the present invention will be described.
This embodiment is specifically described for better understanding of the gist of the invention, and does not limit the present invention unless otherwise specified.
The polyurea film of the present invention is a film formed on the surface of an object to be processed such as a substrate by a vapor deposition polymerization method, and more specifically, an alicyclic polyamine and an alicyclic polyisocyanate by a vapor deposition polymerization method. It is a film formed on the surface of the object to be processed by polyurea formed by polymerization.
Examples of alicyclic polyamines include 4,4'-methylenebiscyclohexylamine (diaminodicyclohexylmethane), 1,3-aminomethylcyclohexane, 1,2-diaminocyclohexane, 1-methyl-2,4-cyclohexanediamine, and dicyclohexanone. Xylmethanediamine, 5-cyclohexylmethyl-1,3-cyclohexanediamine, 2,3,5,6-tetramethyl-1,4-cyclohexanediamine, 1,3,5-cyclohexanetriamine, and the like. Among these, 4,4′-methylenebiscyclohexylamine is preferable from the viewpoint of the evaporation temperature in vacuum.
Examples of alicyclic polyisocyanates include 1,3-bis (isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane, cyclohexane-1,3-diyl diisocyanate, methylene bis (1,4-cyclohexanediyl) diisocyanate, and dicyclohexylmethane diisocyanate. , Dicyclohexyldimethylmethane-4,4′-diisocyanate, 1,1′-bicyclohexane-4,4′-diyl diisocyanate, etc., among these, from the viewpoint of evaporation temperature in vacuum 1,3-bis (isocyanatomethyl) cyclohexane is preferred.
The thickness of the polyurea film is not particularly limited, and is 10 nm to 300 μm depending on the application.
The polyurea film formed by polyurea obtained by polymerizing these alicyclic polyamines and alicyclic polyisocyanates by vapor deposition polymerization is based on the surface of the object such as the substrate on which the film is formed. In this case, the film has an isotropic structure and a uniform thickness. Further, the polyurea film of the present invention has a saturated hydrocarbon six-membered ring in the main chain, unlike a polyurea film formed using a conventional aliphatic diamine monomer and aliphatic diisocyanate monomer. Due to this structure, the polyurea film of the present invention becomes a film with better chemical resistance than before, and it becomes difficult for the chemical to become cloudy and peel from the surface of the object to be treated.

Moreover, control of the thickness (film thickness) of a film can be performed by applying a well-known technique. For example, the film thickness can be controlled by installing a film thickness monitor using a crystal oscillator method and measuring the film thickness or by controlling the film formation time.
