Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an alcohol detection device including a composite gas sensor including a plurality of types of sensors in order to detect an alcohol concentration in exhaled breath discharged from a user.
This specification demonstrates the alcohol detection apparatus mounted in a vehicle (for example, motor vehicle).
In recent years, drunk driving of vehicles has become a serious social problem, and it is strictly forbidden for a driver to drive a vehicle in a drunk state. In order to ensure this, inventions of various types of vehicle alcohol detection devices have been filed (for example, see Patent Document 1).
Conventional alcohol detection devices have a problem of low detection accuracy. For example, in the case of an alcohol detection device including a composite gas sensor, a sensor that generates heat may be used. If any one of the sensors generates heat, the generated heat may affect other sensors, and the detection accuracy may be reduced.
This invention makes it a subject to improve the detection precision of the alcohol concentration in an alcohol detection apparatus in view of the above situation.
The present invention for solving the above problems is as follows.
In order to detect the alcohol concentration in exhaled breath discharged from the user, an alcohol detection device comprising a composite gas sensor comprising a plurality of types of sensors,
In the apparatus main body part, air delivery means for sending air containing exhaled air flowing into the apparatus main body part downstream,
An alcohol detection sensor which is disposed on the upstream side or the downstream side of the air delivery means in the apparatus main body and detects the alcohol concentration in the air;
A temperature sensor that is arranged upstream of the alcohol detection sensor or at the same position in the air delivery direction and detects the temperature of the air;
Similarly, a humidity sensor for detecting the humidity of the air;
Oxygen that is arranged downstream of the alcohol detection sensor or at the same position in the air delivery direction and that determines whether or not the user's breath is contained in the air by detecting the oxygen concentration in the air A sensor,
Control means for correcting the detection value of the alcohol detection sensor based on the detection values of the temperature sensor, the humidity sensor and the oxygen sensor;
It is characterized by having.
The alcohol detection device according to the present invention is in the form of a composite gas sensor, and a temperature sensor and a humidity sensor are arranged upstream or at the same position of the alcohol detection sensor arranged upstream or downstream of the air delivery means, and alcohol detection is performed. An oxygen sensor is disposed downstream of the sensor or at the same position. The exhaled air discharged from the user is diluted by mixing with the outside air and comes into contact with each sensor. For this reason, there is a possibility that the value detected by the alcohol detection sensor is different from the alcohol concentration of the actual user's expiration (exhalation immediately after being discharged from the user). However, in the alcohol detection device according to the present invention, the control unit corrects the detection value of the alcohol detection sensor according to the temperature, humidity, and oxygen concentration detected by the temperature sensor, the humidity sensor, and the oxygen sensor. Thereby, the alcohol concentration of the user's breath can be detected with high accuracy.
Moreover, the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor are arranged away from the oxygen sensor that generates the largest amount of heat. Thereby, the influence of heat generation of the oxygen sensor is less likely to affect the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor, and the detection error of the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor is reduced, so that the accuracy of the detected value of the alcohol concentration by the alcohol detection sensor is ensured. In addition, since the calorific values of the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor are small, they may be arranged at the same position in the air sending direction or at different positions. Any of them may be arranged on the upstream side.
The sensors may be arranged with different circumferential phases in the apparatus main body. At this time, the position of each sensor in the air sending direction may be the same or different. This prevents the influence of heat generation from the oxygen sensor having the largest calorific value and the alcohol detection sensor having the second calorific value next to the oxygen sensor from affecting the temperature sensor and the humidity sensor, while maintaining the total length (air ) In the sending direction).
The temperature sensor, the humidity sensor, the alcohol detection sensor, and the oxygen sensor can be arranged in this order in the air delivery direction. At this time, it is desirable that the distance between the humidity sensor and the alcohol detection sensor be the longest among the distances between the sensors in the air delivery direction. Note that the position of the air delivery means at this time may be on the upstream side, the downstream side, or between the sensors.
This alcohol detection device can be mounted on a vehicle. In this case, the detection result of the alcohol detection device may be linked with a vehicle engine or the like. Of course, the alcohol detector can be used alone.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail. In this specification, an alcohol detection device mounted on a vehicle will be described.
1 is a schematic diagram of a driver's seat on which the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
In FIG. 3,
The exhaled air blown to the
As shown in FIG. 4, the
The
The
The
The
The operation of the
This exhaled air mixture is sent to the downstream side of the
In order for the
If the breathing of the exhaled air by the driver M is weak, the oxygen concentration of the exhaled air mixture air does not decrease so much (“No” in step S3). In this case, the control means activates the
Here, the alcohol concentration detected by the
Further, the dilution rate of expiration is measured from the oxygen concentration in the expiration mixture air detected by the
As shown in FIG. 4, in the
As described above, since the
Next, the
Further, like the
In the
Further, like the
