Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a strain detection sensor and a pedaling force detection device using the same, and more particularly to a strain detection sensor suitable for detecting pedaling force for a brake device mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile and a pedaling force detection device using the same.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a pedal force detection device that detects a pedal force applied to a brake device mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile, the pedal is attached to a clevis that connects a brake pedal lever and a booster operating rod. A device including a strain detection sensor that outputs an electrical signal corresponding to the strain of the clevis due to the force transmitted to the clevis has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In this strain detection sensor, the clevis is provided with an elliptical rod connecting portion in which both ends of a pair of flat plate portions parallel to each other are connected to each other by a curved portion, and strain detecting elements are attached to both the front and back surfaces of the curved portion. The clevis distortion due to the force transmitted from the lever to the operating rod is detected.
Further, in this strain detection sensor, a reinforcing member is provided in a space between the pair of flat plate portions constituting the rod connecting portion, and when an excessive pedaling force is applied to one flat plate portion, the displacement of the flat plate portion is suppressed. It is configured to prevent the bending portion from breaking by suppressing excessive deformation of the bending portion, and to ensure the transmission of the pedaling force from the brake pedal to the operating rod via the reinforcing member even when the bending portion is broken. Yes.
However, in the pedaling force detection device as described above, the reinforcing member is provided in the space between the pair of flat plate portions constituting the rod connecting portion, so that even when the bending portion is broken, the brake pedal is interposed via the reinforcing member. However, there is a problem in that the function of the strain detection sensor is lost after the bending portion is broken, and it becomes impossible to detect the pedaling force. On the other hand, in order to deal with such a problem, when the rod connecting part has a strength that can withstand an excessive pedaling force that can cause the bending part to break, it responds to the pedaling force within the range that is essentially a detection target. Thus, there is a problem that it is difficult to deform the curved portion, and it is difficult to appropriately detect a desired pedaling force.
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and the force within the range that is originally the detection target is appropriately set without being damaged even when the input force as the detection target is excessive. It is an object of the present invention to provide a strain detection sensor that can be detected and a pedaling force detection device using the same.
The strain detection sensor of the present invention has a bracket that is attached to a rotating lever member with one end near the rotation fulcrum and the other end is rotatably mounted, and one end of the bracket is fixed near the one end. A strain generating body that generates strain in response to the rotation of the lever member, a strain detecting element that is provided in the strain generating body and detects strain generated in the strain generating body, and is provided in the vicinity of the other end of the bracket. A rotation restricting means for restricting a certain amount of rotation of the bracket with respect to the lever member, and according to the rotation of the lever member between the rotation fulcrum and the rotation restricting means. A force point portion for pressing the strain generating body is provided.
According to the strain detection sensor, the strain member can be distorted while allowing the bracket to rotate according to the rotation of the lever member, while the bracket member can be controlled to rotate more than a certain amount. Since the lever member and bracket can be rotated integrally when the amount of rotation of is increased, it is possible to prevent a load of a certain amount or more from being applied to the strain generating body. It is possible to prevent breakage even when the force becomes excessive. Further, before the bracket rotation with respect to the lever member is restricted, the strain generating body is distorted according to the amount of rotation of the lever member, and the strain generated in the strain generating body can be detected by the strain detecting element. Thus, it is possible to appropriately detect the force in the range that is originally a detection target. As a result, even when the input force to be detected is excessive, it is possible to appropriately detect the force in the range that is inherently to be detected without being damaged.
In the strain detection sensor, it is preferable that a part of the lever member is provided with a contact portion that protrudes toward the strain generating body and contacts the part of the strain generating body. In this case, since a contact portion provided protruding from a part of the lever member is brought into contact with a part of the strain generating body, a desired position on the strain generating body is accurately pressed. Therefore, the strain generating body can be effectively distorted according to the rotation of the lever member.
In the strain detection sensor, it is preferable that a part of the strain generating body is provided with a contact portion that protrudes toward the lever member and contacts the part of the lever member. In this case, since the abutting portion that protrudes from a part of the strain-generating body is brought into contact with a part of the lever member, the pressing force is accurately applied at a desired position on the strain-generating body. Since it can receive, it becomes possible to distort a strain body effectively according to rotation of a lever member.
In the strain detection sensor, it is preferable that an amount of protrusion of the contact portion toward the strain generating body side or the lever member side can be adjusted. In this case, since the amount of protrusion of the contact portion toward the strain generating body or the lever member can be adjusted, the maximum value of the strain generated in the strain generating body can be adjusted according to the amount of rotation of the lever member. As a result, the maximum value of the distortion that can be detected by the distortion detection sensor can be adjusted.
The pedaling force detection device of the present invention includes any one of the above-described strain detection sensors, and the strain detection element detects a strain generated in the strain generating body in accordance with the pedaling force input to the lever member.
According to the pedaling force detection device, any one of the strain detection sensors described above is provided, and the strain generated in the strain generating body according to the pedaling force input to the lever member is detected by the strain detection element. It is possible to provide a pedaling force detection device that can appropriately detect the pedaling force in a range that is originally a detection target without being damaged even when the input pedaling force is excessive.
According to the present invention, since the strain body is distorted while allowing the bracket to rotate according to the rotation of the lever member, it is possible to regulate the rotation of the bracket more than a certain amount. When the amount of movement becomes large, the lever member and the bracket can be integrally rotated, and it is possible to prevent a load exceeding a certain amount from being applied to the strain generating body. Even when the force is excessive, it is possible to appropriately detect the force in the range that is originally a detection target without being damaged.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following, a case where the distortion detection sensor according to the present invention is applied to a pedaling force detection device that detects a pedaling force with respect to a brake pedal mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile will be described. The target to be applied is not limited to the treading force detection device, and can be changed as appropriate.

The strain body 4 is made of, for example, a stainless steel spring material such as SUS630, and is fixed so that the rear surface of the upper end portion of the spacer 3 is overlapped with the front surface of the spacer 3. Further, the strain body 4 is provided in such a length that its lower end extends to a position below the
A plurality of
Here, the attachment state of the
Further, through holes 2f are formed in the vicinity of the lower end portions of the opposing
Further, insertion holes 2g are formed slightly below the
Next, the operation when the
In particular, FIG. 4A shows the state of the
In the pedaling
When the
When the
When the
As described above, in the
In particular, in the
(Embodiment 2)
In the
Hereinafter, the configuration of the
The
Further, in the pedaling
The protrusion amount adjusting mechanism 7 is inserted in the vicinity of the lower end portion of the strain body 4 and is attached to the
In the pedal
As described above, the
