Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell module incorporating a reformer.
As a fuel cell module incorporating a reformer, for example, there is a fuel cell module in which a cell stack formed by stacking a plurality of solid oxide fuel cell cells is housed in a casing. Since the solid oxide fuel cell has a relatively high operating temperature of 700 to 1000 ° C., it is possible to promote the reforming reaction by the reformer using the exhaust heat. In some fuel cell modules using solid oxide fuel cells, the fuel off-gas discharged from the fuel cells is burned in the housing of the fuel cell module, and the internal heat is reformed by the combustion heat. Some also actively heat the vessel.
In a fuel cell module using such a solid oxide fuel cell, power generation efficiency can be increased by maintaining the operating temperature at the above temperature. Therefore, for example, in the technique described in
In view of such problems, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to make the temperature distribution of fuel cells uniform in a fuel cell module incorporating a reformer.
SUMMARY An advantage of some aspects of the invention is to solve at least a part of the problems described above, and the invention can be implemented as the following forms or application examples.
[Application Example 1] In a casing, a vaporization section that raises moisture and raw fuel to generate raw fuel gas containing water vapor, and reforms the raw fuel gas supplied from the vaporization section to generate hydrogen. A reformer having a reforming unit that generates a fuel gas contained therein, an oxidizing gas containing oxygen and the fuel gas generated by the reformer, and generating the fuel gas therein A fuel cell that has a flowing fuel gas flow path, introduces the fuel gas from a first end, and discharges fuel off-gas that has not been used for power generation from the second end; and A combustion section that burns the fuel off gas that has not been used for power generation in the vicinity of the second end, and the reformer has the vaporization section disposed in the vicinity of the second end of the fuel cell. The reforming part is disposed in the vicinity of the first end of the fuel cell. Cormorants, fuel cell module, characterized in that provided along the fuel cell.
In the fuel cell module having such a configuration, since the vaporizer of the reformer is disposed in the vicinity of the second end of the fuel cell, the heat of vaporization required by the vaporizer is transferred to the combustion unit. It is possible to efficiently take away from the second end portion of the fuel cell that becomes relatively high temperature due to the combustion heat generated by the heat generation and the heat generated by power generation. As a result, the temperature of the second end portion of the fuel cell can be lowered, so that the durability and power generation efficiency of the fuel cell module can be improved. Furthermore, according to the above configuration, since the reformer is provided along the fuel cell, the side wall of the reformer functions as a solid heat conductor, and extends from the first end to the second end. The temperature distribution of the fuel cell can be made uniform. As a result, the durability and power generation efficiency of the fuel cell module can be improved.
Application Example 2 In the casing, an oxidizing gas channel that supplies the oxidizing gas to the first end side of the fuel cell via a channel portion that passes through the vicinity of the combustion unit is provided. The fuel cell module according to Application Example 1. With such a configuration, the combustion heat in the combustion section can be used for preheating the oxidizing gas supplied to the fuel cell, so that the temperature of the second end of the fuel cell can be lowered. As a result, the temperature on the first end side can be increased, and the temperature distribution of the fuel cells from the first end to the second end can be made uniform. As a result, it becomes possible to improve the durability of the fuel cell module and improve the power generation efficiency.
Application Example 3 First Oxide Gas Side of the Fuel Cell through the Channel Portion Arranged in the Case to Surround the Second End of the Fuel Cell The fuel cell module according to Application Example 1, which includes an oxidizing gas flow path for supplying to the fuel cell. With such a configuration, the heat generated by the power generation at the second end of the fuel cell can be used for preheating the oxidizing gas, so the temperature at the second end of the fuel cell is lowered. The temperature on the first end side can be increased, and the temperature distribution of the fuel cells from the first end to the second end can be made uniform. become. As a result, it becomes possible to improve the durability of the fuel cell module and improve the power generation efficiency.

Inside the
A raw

A catalyst for promoting a steam reforming reaction is disposed inside the reforming

In the
