Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a gas turbine plant that obtains output using a gas turbine, and more particularly to an intake air cooling device for a gas turbine and a control method thereof.
A gas turbine plant is equipment for obtaining electric power or the like by driving a driven body such as a generator using the output of a gas turbine. The gas turbine is composed of a compressor, a combustor, and a turbine.
The compressor sucks and compresses combustion air and is driven by utilizing a part of output generated by a turbine described later. Air sucked into the compressor (hereinafter referred to as “intake air”) is sucked from the intake port, and after foreign matter is removed by a filter provided in the intake filter chamber, the air is supplied to the compressor via the intake duct. . The intake air compressed through the compressor is supplied to the combustor as combustion air. The high-temperature and high-pressure combustion gas generated by burning the fuel in the combustor is supplied to the turbine, and when expanding in the turbine, the turbine is rotated to generate shaft output. This output is used to drive a coaxially connected generator and is also used as a drive source for the coaxial compressor.
In the gas turbine plant, in order to improve the output, intake air cooling is performed in which the intake air density is increased to increase the intake air amount. As a prior art of such intake air cooling, for example, an intake air cooling device shown in FIG. In this method, means for bringing the intake air into contact with water is provided in the downstream of the intake filter, and the passing intake air is cooled by utilizing the latent heat of water evaporation. Such an intake air cooling technique is particularly useful in summer when the demand for electric power is high and the atmospheric temperature rises and the gas turbine output decreases.
In an existing gas turbine plant that does not have an intake air cooling system at the beginning of construction, when the intake air cooling system is to be newly applied, it is necessary to greatly modify the intake filter chamber or the intake duct, In some cases, application was impossible in relation to area. Another problem was the high cost of remodeling.
In view of such circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide an intake air cooling device for a gas turbine and a control method thereof that can be installed in an existing gas turbine plant without any major modification.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention employs the following means.
That is, the first aspect of the present invention is a medium that is installed so as to cover the entire surface of the intake port in the front surface of the intake filter chamber of the gas turbine, and in which an opening through which the intake of the gas turbine passes is formed, A water supply device for supplying water to the medium from an upper part of the medium, wherein the medium is inclined so as to be closer to the intake port sequentially from an upper end part toward a lower end part It is.
According to this aspect, when water is supplied to the upper part of the medium from the water supply device, the water flows downward along the medium. When the intake air passes through the opening of the media, the intake air evaporates the water flowing along the media. As a result, the heat of the evaporation latent heat of water is taken away from the intake air, and the intake air is cooled.
According to this aspect, since the media is installed on the front surface of the intake filter, it is not necessary to make major modifications to the intake filter chamber or the intake duct for installation, and simple modifications are required. Therefore, it is possible to newly apply an intake air cooling device to an existing gas turbine plant where there is no room in the plant building or site area, and the installation cost can be significantly reduced.
As described above, water droplets mixed in the intake air are captured by the intake filter, but it is not preferable that a large amount of water is scattered from the medium. This is because when a large amount of water adheres to the intake filter, a minute gap in the intake filter is blocked by the water and intake pressure loss increases, thereby causing a reduction in the output of the gas turbine. According to this aspect, the media is inclined so as to be closer to the intake port sequentially from the upper end to the lower end. For this reason, compared with the case where a medium is installed vertically, the adhesiveness to the medium of water is favorable. Therefore, when the intake air passes through the media, it is possible to reduce the amount of water scattered in the form of water droplets due to the flow of the intake air.
In the said aspect, you may provide the closing member which closes the open part of the space formed in the circumference | surroundings of the said medium and the circumference | surroundings of the said air inlet.
In this case, the closing member closes the surface connecting the periphery of the medium and the periphery of the intake port, so that air that does not pass through the medium can be prevented from flowing into the intake port. As a result, the entire amount of intake air passes through the media, so that the cooling efficiency can be improved.
In the above aspect, the medium may be formed of a divided medium divided into a plurality of parts in the vertical direction.
If it does in this way, a division | segmentation media can be installed so that it may overlap with an up-down direction. Therefore, the installation area can be reduced as compared with a single medium while maintaining the same inclination as that of one medium, in other words, a necessary inclination. As a result, the intake air cooling device can be applied to an existing gas turbine plant having no marginal space around the intake filter chamber.
The water supply device may be provided with a water supply pipe having a plurality of holes provided at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction at the upper end of the medium, or may be provided with a water storage part having a weir part. By using these configurations, a uniform amount of water can be supplied over the entire width of the medium, and intake air can be cooled without being biased over the entire surface of the medium.
The water supply apparatus may include a control unit that controls the water supply amount to be an appropriate amount considering the evaporation amount. By using this configuration, the amount of water supplied to the intake air cooling device is controlled so as to be an appropriate amount considering the evaporation amount, so that waste of water can be suppressed.
In this invention, you may control the intake-air-cooling apparatus of a gas turbine by the method shown below. That is, a step of measuring the atmospheric temperature and relative humidity, a step of calculating a required water supply amount based on the measurement result and an air supply amount to the compressor, and the calculated required water supply amount to the intake air cooling device Providing.
According to this method, since the amount of water supplied to the intake air cooling device is controlled to be an appropriate amount considering the evaporation amount, waste of water can be suppressed.
Embodiments according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
[First Embodiment]
FIG. 1 is a schematic side view illustrating a schematic configuration of a gas turbine to which an intake air cooling device according to a first embodiment is applied.
As shown in FIG. 1, the gas turbine 1 includes an intake

As shown in FIG. 2, the

As described above, it is preferable to use a synthetic resin net or the like as the material of the

As shown in FIG. 1, the medium 29 is disposed on the front surface of the
The
The inclination angle α of the medium 29 is, for example, desirably in the range of 10 ° to 20 °, more preferably 15 °.
When the inclination angle α is reduced, the installation area of the medium 29 can be reduced, but on the other hand, the adhesiveness of the water to the medium 29 is reduced, so that the water is easily scattered by the passing air. On the other hand, when the inclination angle α increases, water drops easily fall on the front side of the medium, and the installation area in the intake traveling direction increases.
In actual installation, it is possible to adopt a configuration exceeding the above-mentioned range in consideration of factors such as the installation conditions of the gas turbine 1 and available materials. Further, the inclination of the medium 29 is not limited to a straight line. Depending on the conditions of the installation location, etc., it may be curved or a combination of a curve and a straight line. Further, those having different inclination angles α may be combined.

The

In addition, the structure of a water supply part is not limited to this embodiment, A different structure can be used suitably.
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, it is good also as a structure which provides the tub (water storage part) 49 which stores water, and supplies the water from the

The
Next, operations and effects of the gas turbine 1 configured as described above will be described.
In the gas turbine 1, when the compressor 7 is rotationally driven, intake air is sucked through the intake
The intake
When the intake air is sucked into the
Thus, since the temperature of the air sucked into the compressor 7 by the intake
Since the
The intake air that has passed through the medium 29 passes through the
As a further effect, there is an advantage that the operation cost is reduced because it is not necessary to use pure water as the water used in the intake
That is, since the conventional intake air cooling device is installed in the downstream of the intake air filter, when water containing impurities is used as the feed water, the impurities are sucked into the compressor 7 as it is and cause wear of the compressor blades. In order to prevent this, the conventional intake air cooling apparatus needs to use pure water for water supply.
In the present embodiment, even if some impurities are contained in the water supply, these impurities are captured by the
Since the medium 29 is inclined so as to be closer to the
The
As a simpler control mode, a configuration in which only the
[Second Embodiment]
Next, an intake air cooling device according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 7 is a schematic side view showing a partial schematic configuration of a gas turbine to which the intake air cooling device of the present embodiment is applied.
The basic configuration of the gas turbine 1 of the present embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment, but the configuration of the intake
