Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing an intaglio printing plate. Further, when producing a printing plate in which a large number of identical patterns such as securities and banknotes are arranged in a matrix, a resin mold is used. It relates to the joining technique.
The process of producing an intaglio printing plate for printing from an intaglio original plate with engraved lines with different line widths and depths on a metal plate and pressing the ink into the intaglio image line is already known. For example, there is a general method for producing a multi-face plate as shown below.
Place a thermoplastic resin plate with a thickness of 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm on the intaglio original plate on the intaglio original plate, heat it to about 170 ° C. in the press machine, and then between the upper and lower platen of the press machine It is pressed with a pressure of about 100 to 200 kg / cm 2 to transfer the engraved pattern on the metal plate to the resin plate. When it is taken out after cooling and the resin is peeled off from the metal original plate, a convex image line is transferred onto the resin plate. Thereafter, the same pressing process is repeated to obtain a number of convex resin lines. Using a cutting machine, the produced resin plate is finely cut to a predetermined size. While measuring the pitch between the surfaces of the sculpted resin plates, they are arranged at predetermined positions in a matrix and temporarily fixed with tape or the like. The resin plate arranged in a matrix is transferred to the stage of the welding machine, temporarily fixed, and the sides of the matrix resin plate are welded to produce a resin multi-sided plate.
The surface of this multi-sided resin plate is processed with silver mirror, the multi-sided resin plate consisting of this convex image line is copper electroformed, and the intermediate concave original plate of the copper plate consisting of concave image line is produced by removing the multi-sided resin plate. The intaglio plate is finally used for mass production of a nickel plate that becomes a printing plate to be mounted on a plate cylinder of an intaglio printing press. In addition, this intaglio printing plate is subjected to chrome plating in order to improve wear resistance.
Also, in order to omit the welding process in the process of producing a multi-sided resin plate, a multi-sided plate-sized thermoplastic resin plate is prepared, and the engraving pattern of the intaglio original plate is transferred to a predetermined surface position while being heated using a press. And the method and apparatus which produce the polyhedral resin relief printing plate by which the pattern is arrange | positioned at the matrix form are also proposed (patent document 1).
In the method described in
However, in the conventional general multi-face plate making method, when welding the sides of the sculpted resin plate, the position at the time of transfer to the stage of the welder (welding machine) when temporarily fixing or when shifting Due to misalignment, etc., the positional accuracy of individual resin plates in a multi-sided resin plate, that is, the accuracy of the inter-surface dimension in the X direction and Y direction is low. There was a drawback that the quality of the multi-colored and high-quality printed material, which is a securities, was reduced.
Therefore, the present invention was made to solve such a technical problem, and in the step of producing a multi-sided resin plate, the multi-sided resin plate was welded while being positioned and arranged with high precision, and the multi-sided resin plate was obtained.
The

FIG. 6 is a flowchart showing the flow of the welding cycle in the welding step (S4) of the present invention. The welding procedure will be described in detail. The first welding cycle is performed according to the following procedure.

In the welding process, when all adjacent sides of the
In order to confirm that the produced multi-sided resin mold is within the predetermined dimension tolerance between the patterns, for example, a measurement table of a length measuring device such as Japanese Patent No. 2522611 is used. Placed on. The length measuring device includes an image pickup unit composed of an image pickup device such as an image pickup tube, a CCD image sensor, and a CMOS image sensor on a measurement table, a moving means for moving the image pickup unit, and a monitor television that displays an image obtained by the image pickup unit. And a marked line display means for displaying a predetermined marked line on the display unit.
Using the length measuring device, start with the measurement point of the pattern on the first resin mold plate of the plurality of resin mold plates positioned and fixed in a matrix, or the reference line at the reference position, then Use the rotary encoder to determine the relative movement amount of the imaging unit from the start point to the end point with the same measurement point as the first resin mold plate in the second resin mold plate, or with the mark line aligned with the reference position. By determining whether the inter-surface dimensions between the patterns of each resin mold are within the allowable range, or by determining in the memory determination unit whether they are within the pre-stored dimension allowable values, Final confirmation can be made.
