Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an imaging lens and an imaging apparatus, and more particularly, to an imaging lens and an imaging apparatus capable of fine adjustment of focus.
In an imaging lens or an imaging apparatus including the imaging lens, focus adjustment is generally performed by rotating a focus ring provided on a lens barrel of the imaging lens.
In this focus adjustment, the rotation angle of the focus ring required to change the focal length of the imaging lens from the infinity side to the closest side varies depending on the imaging lens.
For example, in the case of an imaging lens attached to an imaging device such as a surveillance camera, the rotation angle range of the focus ring is often set to 60 degrees to 90 degrees.
When the rotation angle range is set to this level, the focal length can be changed greatly with a slight rotation of the focus ring, so that the focus can be moved quickly from the infinity side to the closest side, so-called coarse focus. Adjustment is easy, but fine adjustment is not easy.
Therefore, a technique for facilitating fine adjustment of focus has been proposed in an imaging lens that performs focus adjustment by rotating a focus ring, and an example thereof is described in Patent Document 1.
Patent Document 2 discloses a technique that enables fine adjustment and coarse adjustment of ring rotation in an apparatus that adjusts the angle of an optical rotating optical element such as a deflecting plate by rotating a ring, although it is not an imaging lens. Has been.
In Patent Document 1, in a surveillance camera device equipped with a lens, a sub-rotation ring having worm wheel-like teeth is provided on the focus ring of the lens, and a worm gear meshing with the sub-rotation ring is rotated, so that the focus ring is slightly rotated. The technologies that make it possible are described.
However, since the worm gear and the sub-rotation ring are always meshed with the surveillance camera device described in Patent Document 1, a large number of worm gears must be turned when performing coarse focus adjustment. Therefore, there is a problem that it takes time for rough adjustment.
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2004-228561 describes a technique in which a worm wheel is provided on the outer periphery of an optical rotation optical element and the optical rotation optical element is rotated via a worm gear engaged therewith in an optical rotation optical element adjustment device.
In addition, paragraph number 0010 describes that a spring that presses in the direction in which the worm gear is engaged is provided, and that coarse adjustment is possible when the engagement is removed against the spring.
However, the apparatus described in Patent Document 2 must always apply a force against the spring to the worm gear when performing coarse adjustment.
Therefore, in the rough adjustment operation, it is necessary to apply the force to the worm gear and the rotation force of the worm wheel at the same time. This causes a problem that the operation is troublesome and not easy.
Accordingly, the problem to be solved by the present invention is that both rough adjustment and fine adjustment of the focus are possible in the focus adjustment work performed by rotating the focus ring, and the adjustment work can be easily performed in a short time. An imaging lens and an imaging apparatus are provided.

Therefore, both fine adjustment and coarse adjustment of the focus are possible, and it is not necessary to turn the

For cameras that require a cover that covers the imaging lens, such as the dome-type camera described in the embodiment and the box camera for outdoor installation, depending on the thickness of the cover and the distance between the lens and the cover, The optical path length is shifted by 20-30 μm with and without.
Therefore, there is a slight focus shift between an image taken with the cover removed and an image taken with the cover attached.

Considering the focus work environment at the site where the image pickup apparatus is installed, it is not easy to accurately perform the work of rotating the
In the
On the other hand, since the moving amount of 0.5 mountain is 13.5 μm, even if it is shifted by 0.5 mountain on one side at the maximum, it is within the allowable range.
