Abstract
【解決手段】DPFにおいて過昇温発生の可能性が検出された時刻t0以降に、2段階でDPFに流入する排気中の酸素濃度を低減する。予め装置構成が有するばらつきを学習することにより、急速に酸素濃度を低減させる第1段階では従来技術での目標値T1よりも低く目標値T1’を設定して迅速に酸素濃度を低減する。その後フィードバック制御により最終的な目標値T2に収束させる。学習なしの場合よりも学習ありの場合の方が目標値T2に達するまでの整定時間が短くできる。

Claims (9)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に配置されて粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタと、
そのフィルタに捕集された粒子状物質を燃焼して前記フィルタを再生する再生手段と、
その再生手段による再生中に前記フィルタが昇温し過ぎる可能性がある過昇温可能状態にあることを検出する検出手段と、
前記検出手段が過昇温可能状態にあることを検出した場合に、前記フィルタに流入する排気中の酸素濃度が急速低減用目標値へ低減するように燃料噴射量と吸気量とを含む入力量を操作する第1低減手段と、
前記入力量を操作した場合の前記酸素濃度の指令値と計測値との間の偏差を取得することによって、前記酸素濃度の前記急速低減用目標値への収束の精度が向上するように前記入力量を補正する学習手段と、
前記学習手段による前記入力量の補正が行われない場合に前記酸素濃度が低減し過ぎることを回避するために設定される急速低減用目標値と比較して、前記学習手段による前記入力量の補正が行われる場合に前記第1低減手段で用いられる急速低減用目標値を低く設定する設定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記学習手段は、前記検出手段によって過昇温可能状態にあると検出されていない状態で前記入力量を操作して前記偏差を取得する第1学習手段を備えた請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第1学習手段は、前記偏差を前記内燃機関の運転条件ごとに取得する請求項2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第1学習手段は、前記偏差を前記内燃機関のアイドル運転時に取得する請求項2に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記内燃機関は自動車に搭載され、
前記学習手段は、前記自動車の所定走行距離ごとに、あるいは所定時間ごとに前記偏差の値を更新する請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記第1低減手段による前記フィルタに流入する排気中の酸素濃度を前記急速低減用目標値に近づける制御に続けて、前記フィルタに流入する排気中の酸素濃度を、前記急速低減用目標値より低い過昇温回避用目標値に近づける制御を実行する第2低減手段を備えた請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第2低減手段は、前記フィルタに流入する排気中の酸素濃度の計測値をフィードバックする制御を行う請求項6に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記フィルタ下流の前記排気通路における酸素濃度を計測する下流側計測手段と、
前記下流側計測手段による計測値から前記フィルタに流入する排気中の酸素濃度を算出する算出手段と、を備え、
前記酸素濃度の計測値を、前記算出手段により算出された酸素濃度値に置き換えた請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。 - 前記酸素濃度の計測値は、燃料噴射停止時の酸素濃度の計測値と大気中の酸素濃度との差分を用いて酸素濃度値を補正する補正手段によって補正された値である請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
