Description

The present invention relates to a slotter knife that forms kerfs at opposite ends of a sheet such as a rectangular corrugated cardboard sheet.

Conventionally, a slotter knife comprising a fan-shaped plate-shaped portion having a pair of arc-shaped blade portions on both side edges of the outer peripheral surface, and a protruding blade portion provided at one end in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the fan-shaped plate-shaped portion. It is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

The slotter knife is attached to the slotter device. The slotter device is inserted in the state where the first rotation shaft, the second rotation shaft arranged in parallel with the first rotation shaft, and the first rotation shaft are inserted. A first cylindrical body fixed to the first cylindrical body, a pair of slotter knives fixed on one side surface of the first cylindrical body in the circumferential direction with a gap in the circumferential direction, and a state where the second rotating shaft is inserted A second cylindrical body fixed to the second cylindrical body, and an annular groove portion having a pair of receiving blades serving as opening edges and receiving an arcuate blade portion of the slotter knife corresponding to the slotter knife on the outer peripheral surface of the second cylindrical body And a cut groove is formed in each of the front and rear end portions in the insertion direction of the rectangular cardboard sheet inserted between both cylindrical bodies.

Of the pair of slotter knives of the slotter device, the front slotter knife that forms the kerf at the front end in the insertion direction of the rectangular cardboard sheet, and the rear that forms the kerf at the rear end in the insertion direction of the rectangular cardboard sheet As a slotter knife, a rear end of the outer peripheral surface on the opposite side to the rotation direction of the front slotter knife is provided with a cutting end protrusion protruding radially outward. The end of the kerf is formed. At the front portion in the rotational direction of the rear slotter knife, there is provided a protruding blade portion that protrudes radially outward, and this protruding blade portion forms the start end portion of the kerf at the rear end portion.

By the way, when forming the start end portion of the rear end kerf with the rear slotter knife, the start end of the kerf may be broken. In order to prevent this, in Patent Document 1, the protruding blade portion of the rear slotter knife is sharply formed.

As described above, when the protruding blade portion of the rear slotter knife is sharpened, it is possible to prevent tearing of the start end portion of the kerf, but the cutting edge of the protruding blade portion is easily worn and the durability is lowered.

In view of the above points, an object of the present invention is to provide a slotter knife having high durability while preventing breakage of an end portion of a kerf.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present invention is provided at a sector plate-shaped portion having a pair of arcuate blade portions on both side edges of the outer peripheral surface and one end portion in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the sector plate-shaped portion. In the slotter knife including a cutting edge portion, the cutting edge portion is formed in a quadrangular frustum shape, a radially outer surface of the cutting blade portion is a tip surface, a surface on one side in the circumferential direction is a front end surface, a circumferential surface The front edge connected to the front end surface of the front end surface is inclined with respect to the center axis of a circle along the outer peripheral surface of the sector plate-shaped portion, with the other side surface in the direction as a rear end surface, and the front end surface is The trailing edge that hangs radially inward from the leading edge of the leading edge surface and that is connected to the trailing edge surface of the leading edge surface is in the same direction as the leading edge and is inclined relative to the central axis relative to the leading edge. The rear end surface is gradually radially outward toward the front end surface so as to be twisted from the outer peripheral surface of the sector plate-shaped portion. Characterized in that it is a sloped surface so as to protrude.

According to the present invention, since the projecting blade portion is formed in a truncated pyramid shape and has a tip surface, the cutting edge is less likely to be worn compared to a conventional sharp projecting blade portion, and durability can be improved. In addition, as a result of the experiment, the front edge of the tip surface of the projecting blade portion is inclined with respect to the central axis of a circle along the outer peripheral surface of the sector plate portion, and the front end surface is radially inward from the front edge of the tip surface. The rear end of the front end surface is inclined in the same direction as the front edge and with respect to the central axis with respect to the central axis, and the rear end surface is twisted from the outer peripheral surface of the fan-shaped plate-shaped portion. It was found that the end of the kerf can be prevented from being broken by making the surface inclined so as to gradually protrude outward in the radial direction. Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to prevent breakage of the end portion of the kerf portion and improve durability.

By the way, when a sheet for a corrugated cardboard packaging box is prepared, a stop margin for forming a cylindrical body by pasting both ends of the sheet is formed. This stop allowance is provided by forming a cut groove for the stop substitute with a slotter device. Here, since the stop allowance is narrow, the stop allowance is easily pulled into the slotter knife side when forming the stop allowance cut groove. When the stop margin is pulled toward the slotter knife, the slotter knife cannot cut the kerf portion well, and the end portion of the stop kerf is likely to be broken. In particular, the start end portion of the stop kerf on the rear end side in the sheet insertion direction is a portion that is started to be cut by the protruding blade portion of the slotter knife, and thus is easily broken.

In this case, the slotter knife is formed with a cut groove for a stop margin on the rear end side in the insertion direction of the cardboard packaging box sheet, and the leading edge and the rear edge of the tip surface of the protruding blade portion are set as a stop margin. What is necessary is just to incline so that the side may face the said circumferential direction other side. Thereby, since the cut groove for the stop margin on the rear end side of the sheet can be started from the opposite side of the stop margin, the width of the stop margin is widened by the width of the cut groove at the start of cutting, It is difficult for the stoppage to be pulled to the slotter knife side. Furthermore, since cutting starts from the opposite side of the leading edge of the cutting edge portion, the cutting blade portion is in a point contact state with respect to the sheet at the start of cutting, and is easily pierced. Therefore, according to the slotter knife of the present invention, it is possible to prevent the start end portion of the cut-off groove for the stop substitute on the rear end side of the corrugated cardboard packaging box sheet that is particularly easily torn.

An embodiment of the slotter knife of the present invention will be described using a slotter device 1 shown in FIGS. The slotter device 1 is formed with slits Sf1 to Sr1 and Sr1 to Sr4 at the front and rear end portions of the rectangular corrugated cardboard sheet S shown in FIG. 3, and is arranged in parallel with the first rotating shaft 21 and the first rotating shaft 21. The second rotating shaft 22 is provided. As shown in FIG. 3, the corrugated cardboard sheet S is formed with a stop allowance Sa for sticking both ends together to form a cylindrical body.

A first cylindrical body 31 is fixed to the first rotating shaft 21 with the first rotating shaft 21 inserted therein, and the first cylindrical body 31 rotates together with the first rotating shaft 21. In order to form cut grooves Sf1 and Sr1 for the stop allowance Sa of the corrugated cardboard sheet S on one end surface in the axial direction of the first cylindrical body 31, a pair of slotter knives 4 and 5 are provided at intervals in the circumferential direction. It is fixed with bolts 4a and 5a.

A second cylindrical body 32 is fixed to the second rotating shaft 22 with the second rotating shaft 22 inserted therein. The second cylindrical body 32 rotates together with the second rotating shaft 21. An annular groove portion 6 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the second cylindrical body 32 so as to correspond to the slotter knives 4 and 5 and receive the cutting edges of the slotter knives 4 and 5. The opening edge 6a of the annular groove 6 serves as a receiving blade for the slotter knives 4 and 5. When the cardboard sheet S is inserted between the cylindrical bodies 31 and 32, the slotter knives 4 and 5 and the opening end serving as the receiving blade. Cut grooves Sf1 and Sr1 for the stop allowance Sa are formed at both front and rear ends of the corrugated cardboard sheet S between the edges 6a. In addition, both front and rear ends of the stop allowance Sa are cut obliquely by an unillustrated blade.

The rotation direction of the first rotation shaft 21 is the front, the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the first rotation shaft 21 is the rear, the forward slotter knife 4 is the front slotter knife 4, and the rear slotter knife 5 is the rear slotter. As the knives, the front slotter knife 4 forms a kerf Sf1 at the front end of the cardboard sheet S in the insertion direction, and the rear slotter knife 5 forms a kerf Sr1 at the rear end of the cardboard sheet S in the insertion direction (FIG. 3). (See (b)). At the rear end portion of the front slotter knife 4, a cut end projection 41 for forming the rear end portion of the cut groove Sf1 for the stop allowance Sa located at the front end portion of the cardboard sheet S is formed.

The rear slotter knife 5 includes a fan-shaped plate-like portion 51 having an insertion hole 51a through which the bolt 5a is inserted, a pair of arc-shaped blade portions 52 formed on both side edges of the outer peripheral surface of the fan-shaped plate-like portion 51, and a fan-like plate shape. And a projecting blade portion 53 projecting from the front end portion of the outer peripheral surface of the portion 51.

The protruding blade part 53 is formed in a quadrangular frustum shape. The front edge X of the tip surface 53a of the blade portion 53 is inclined so that the stop allowance Sa side faces rearward with respect to the center axis L of the circle along the outer peripheral surface of the sector plate-like portion 51, with the radially outer side as the front. is doing. The front end surface 53b of the protruding blade portion 53 is flat and hangs down from the front edge X of the front end surface 53a toward the central axis L side.

The rear edge Y of the front end surface 53a is in the same direction as the front edge X and is further inclined with respect to the central axis L than the front edge X. The rear end surface 53 c is an inclined surface that gradually protrudes radially outward toward the front end surface 53 a so as to be twisted from the outer peripheral edge of the sector plate-like portion 51, and is connected to the front end surface 53 a at the rear edge Y. It is installed.

According to the rear slotter knife 5 of the present embodiment, the cutting edge 53 is formed in a quadrangular thrust trapezoidal shape and includes the tip surface 53a. Therefore, the cutting edge is less likely to be worn compared to the conventional sharp cutting edge, and is durable. Can be improved.

As a result of the experiment, the front edge X of the front end surface 53a is inclined with respect to the central axis L, the front end surface 53b is suspended from the front edge X toward the central axis L, and the rear edge Y of the front end surface 53a is moved forward. The rear end surface 53c is inclined with respect to the central axis L rather than the edge X, and gradually protrudes radially outward toward the front end surface 53a of the blade 53 so that the rear end surface 53c is twisted from the outer peripheral edge of the fan-shaped plate portion 51. It was found that by using the inclined surface and inclining the leading edge X and the trailing edge Y so that the stop margin side faces rearward, it is possible to prevent breakage of the starting end portion of the kerf Sr1 on the rear end side of the cardboard sheet S.

In particular, in the present embodiment, by forming the rear slotter knife 5 that forms the stop substitution groove Sr1 on the rear end side of the corrugated cardboard sheet S that is easily torn, the stop substitution groove Sr1 is formed as described above. The cutting is started from the opposite side of the stop margin Sa. For this reason, at the start of cutting, the width of the stop margin side is increased by the width of the cut groove Sr1, and the stop margin Sa is not easily drawn into the slotter knife 5 side. Further, since cutting is started from the opposite side of the stop margin Sa of the leading edge X of the cutting edge portion 53, the cutting edge portion 53 is in a point contact state with the corrugated cardboard sheet S at the beginning of cutting, and is easily pierced.

Therefore, according to the rear slotter knife 5 of the present embodiment, it is possible to prevent the start end portion of the cut groove Sr1 at the rear end portion of the corrugated cardboard sheet S from being broken and improve the durability of the protruding blade portion 53.

In the embodiment, the slotter knife of the present invention has been described as forming the cut groove Sr1 on the rear end side of the corrugated cardboard sheet S. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the slotter knife of the present invention is not limited to the sheet. The present invention can also be applied to a slotter knife that forms other kerfs Sr2 to 4 located on the rear end side in the insertion direction.
