Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a water heater that heats water and supplies it to a hot water use location. In particular, the present invention relates to a water heater that uses heat exchange with a heat medium heated by an external heat source as means for heating water.
Patent Document 1 discloses a water heater that heats water and supplies it to a hot water use location. The water heater of Patent Document 1 is a heat exchanger that heats water in the guide path by heat exchange with a guide path that guides water supplied from a supply source to a hot water use location, and a heat medium that circulates the heat pump, A heat source device is provided that heats the water in the guide path closer to the hot water use location than the heat exchanger by combustion of fuel. In this water heater, when the set temperature at the hot water use location is within the capacity range of the heat exchanger, water is heated using the heat exchanger, and the set temperature at the hot water use location exceeds the capacity range of the heat exchanger. In this case, the water passed through the heat exchanger is further heated by the heat source unit.
A heat source machine that burns fuel has a high heating capacity. Therefore, when the water heated to a certain extent by the heat exchanger is further heated by the heat source unit, the water often exceeds the set temperature at the location where the hot water is used. In this case, it is necessary to cool the heated water to the set temperature by mixing the heated water with unheated water.
Depending on the environment in which the water heater is installed, there are many cases where a plurality of water supply sources for supplying unheated water cannot be prepared. The present inventors branch the water supplied from the supply source from the guide path before reaching the heat exchanger and merge it into the guide path downstream from the heat source machine, and the amount of water flowing into the bypass water path A water heater provided with an adjusting means for adjusting the temperature was devised. According to the water heater devised by the present inventors, when the water that has passed through the heat exchanger is further heated by a heat source machine, the water adjusted to a desired set temperature using a single supply source is used as the hot water use point. Can be supplied.
However, when the adjusting means is provided in the guide path, the pressure loss of the adjusting means is large. For this reason, when the adjusting means is provided in the guide path, the amount of water flowing through the guide path is reduced as compared with the case where the adjusting means is not provided.
If water at the set temperature cannot be supplied to the hot water use location without using the heat source machine, the water may be heated to a temperature sufficiently higher than the set temperature due to the high heating capacity of the heat source machine. It is necessary to adjust the adjusting means so that the amount of water in the bypass channel is increased. Since the amount of water can be secured by using the bypass channel, a sufficient amount of water can be supplied to the hot water use location.
On the other hand, the heat exchanger has a lower heating capacity than the heat source machine. Therefore, when water at a set temperature can be supplied to a hot water use location without using a heat source device, the heat exchanger alone may not be heated to a temperature sufficiently higher than the set temperature. The amount of water in the bypass channel cannot be increased. Since the amount of water cannot be ensured using the bypass channel, a sufficient amount of water cannot be supplied to the hot water use location.
Even when the water at the set temperature can be supplied to the hot water use location without using the heat source machine, the water is heated to a temperature sufficiently higher than the set temperature using the heat source machine, and the above-mentioned It is also possible to increase the amount of water in the bypass channel. However, it is not preferable from the viewpoint of energy efficiency to adopt a method of using a heat source machine even though it is not necessary to use a heat source machine.
The present invention solves the above problems. That is, an object of the present invention is to provide a water heater that can supply a sufficient amount of water to a hot water use location even when water is heated only by a heat exchanger without using a heat source device.
The present invention provides a water heater that heats water and supplies it to a hot water use location. The water heater includes a guide channel, a heat storage tank, a heat exchanger, a heat source device, a first bypass channel, an adjustment unit, and a second bypass channel. The guideway guides the water from the water supply source to the hot water use location. The heat storage tank stores a heat medium heated by an external heat source. The heat exchanger heats water in the guide path by exchanging heat with the heat medium stored in the heat storage tank. The heat source machine heats the water in the guide path closer to the hot water use location than the heat exchanger by burning the fuel. One end of the first bypass channel is connected to the guide path on the supply source side from the heat exchanger, and the other end is connected to the guide path on the hot water use location side from the heat source unit. That is, the first bypass channel bypasses the heat exchanger and the heat source unit. The adjusting means is disposed between the one end of the first bypass channel and the guide channel, and adjusts the amount of water flowing into the first bypass channel. One end of the second bypass channel is connected to the guide path closer to the supply source than the adjusting means, and the other end is connected to the guide path between the adjusting means and the heat exchanger. In other words, the second bypass water channel bypasses the adjusting means.
In addition, the above-described “adjusting means” can be rephrased as a distribution valve that branches water supplied from a supply source into a guide channel and a first bypass channel. In addition, it is good also as a structure which installed the adjustment valve in each of a guide channel and a 1st bypass channel. In this case, the pair of adjusting valves functions as adjusting means.
The water heater according to the present invention includes a second bypass water channel that bypasses the adjusting means. When the second bypass water channel is used, a large amount of water can be supplied to the heat exchanger because it is not affected by the pressure loss of the adjusting means. For this reason, when heating water only with a heat exchanger, without using a heat source machine, sufficient water quantity can be supplied to a hot-water utilization location.
The water heater of the present invention may further include a temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the heat medium stored in the heat storage tank, and a control unit that controls the adjusting unit. The control means selects and executes the next two operations according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
(1) While the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is higher than the temperature based on the set temperature at the hot water use location, the amount of water flowing into the first bypass channel is heated using the heat exchanger The adjustment unit is controlled so as to decrease, and the first operation is performed to control the adjustment unit so that the amount of water flowing into the second bypass water channel increases.
(2) While the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is lower than the temperature based on the set temperature at the location where hot water is used, the amount of water that heats the water using the heat source unit and flows into the first bypass channel is large. Then, the adjusting means is controlled so that the adjusting means is controlled so that water does not flow into the second bypass channel.
The temperature sensor may be provided in the heat storage tank, or may be provided in another part (for example, a circulation path of the heat medium). In addition, the “temperature based on the set temperature at the location where the hot water is used” may be the set temperature itself or a value obtained by adding a predetermined value to the set temperature.
When the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is higher than the temperature based on the set temperature at the location where the hot water is used, the water in the guide path can be raised to the temperature based on the set temperature only by the heat exchanger. Therefore, in this case, the water in the guide path is heated using only the heat exchanger. The energy efficiency of the water heater can be improved by heating the water in the guide path using only a heat exchanger that is more energy efficient than the heat source device. On the other hand, since the output of the heat exchanger is lower than that of the heat source device, the temperature of the water in the guide path may not rise to a temperature sufficiently higher than the set temperature at the hot water use location. In this case, the first operation for controlling the adjusting means is performed so that the amount of water flowing into the first bypass channel is reduced. Thereby, the water adjusted to preset temperature can be supplied to a hot water utilization location.
When the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is lower than the temperature based on the set temperature at the location where the hot water is used, the water in the guide path cannot be raised to the temperature based on the set temperature with only the heat exchanger. Therefore, in this case, water in the guide path is heated using a heat exchanger and a heat source device. When water is heated using a heat source device, the water in the guideway is heated to a temperature sufficiently higher than the set temperature at the location where the hot water is used due to its high output. By executing the first operation for controlling the adjusting means so that the amount of water flowing into the first bypass channel increases, the water in the guide channel is set at the location where the hot water is used using the water flowing into the first bypass channel. Can be adjusted to temperature. Thereby, the water adjusted to preset temperature can be supplied to a hot water utilization location.
In the hot water heater of the present invention field, it is preferable that a heat pump is provided as an external heat source device. In this case, the heat storage tank stores the heat medium heated by the heat pump.
By heating the heat medium in the heat storage tank using a heat pump with high energy efficiency, the energy efficiency of the water heater can be further improved.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, when heating water only with a heat exchanger, without using a heat source machine, sufficient water quantity can be supplied to a hot water utilization location.

A water heater according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a
As illustrated, the
The
The
The
The
The
As described above, when the
The
The heat storage
