Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an input device that constitutes a so-called touch panel that is used by being laminated with, for example, a liquid crystal display panel, and a method for manufacturing the same.
FIG. 12 shows an example of a conventional input device. The input device X shown in the figure forms a so-called touch panel by being superimposed on the liquid crystal display panel Y. This touch panel is used as a display unit and an operation unit of the mobile phone Z, for example. The input device X includes
The mobile phone Z has a
When manufacturing the input device X, it is necessary to adhere the

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of an input device according to an embodiment of the present invention. The input device A shown in the figure includes
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the

As shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a space s <b> 1 is formed by being surrounded by the
As shown in FIG. 1, the plurality of
The

The liquid crystal display panel B includes, for example, a transparent substrate and a TFT substrate facing each other, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between them, and has a function of displaying an operation menu screen, an image, and the like for use in operating a mobile phone, for example. . The image displayed on the liquid crystal display panel B is visible through the input device A. The display surface of the liquid crystal display panel B is configured to overlap with the
The input device A and the liquid crystal display panel B are incorporated in a mobile phone or the like and used, for example, as follows.
On the liquid crystal display panel B, for example, an operation menu screen including icons imitating buttons for exercising various functions of the mobile phone is displayed. In a state where the user does not perform any operation, the electrostatic capacity is hardly generated in each of the
Next, a method for manufacturing the input device A will be described with reference to FIGS.
First, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, a plurality of
Next, as shown in FIG. 8, using the
The
As shown in FIG. 8, the input device A ′ is accommodated in the
Next, as shown in FIG. 10, the pressure inside the
Next, as shown in FIG. 11, the input device A ′ is raised and the opening s <b> 2 is extracted from the
Next, the operation of the input device A and its manufacturing method will be described.
According to the present embodiment, the angle formed by the
The state where the
A
The refractive index of the
Since the
When the resin 31 'is injected into the space s1, the resin 31' is a liquid. However, the resin 31 'is then cured. Therefore, there is no possibility that the
After the resin 31 'is cured, the resin protruding from the opening s2 to the outside of the space s1 is cut off. Therefore, in the input device A, it is possible to prevent a shape protruding from the opening s2 from being formed by the cured resin 31 '.
The scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described above. The specific configuration of each part of the input device and the manufacturing method thereof according to the present invention can be varied in design in various ways.
For example, the input device according to the present invention need not be used together with the liquid crystal display panel B.
