Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a DC power supply device in which an output voltage or an output current is controlled, and a lighting fixture in which a light emitting diode is turned on by the DC power supply device.
This type of DC power supply device has an insulating transformer and a switching element connected in series to the primary winding of the insulating transformer, and is connected between both ends of the secondary winding of the insulating transformer according to the on / off operation of the switching element. In some cases, a high-frequency AC voltage generated in the circuit is rectified and smoothed to output a predetermined direct current. Then, the output current supplied to the load and the output voltage applied to the load are detected, and the load current, load voltage, and load power are controlled to be constant. For example, a light emitting diode driving device that controls the load power to be constant has been proposed (see Patent Document 1). This conventional LED driving device obtains power consumption from the detected output voltage and output current of the DC-DC converter, and adjusts the output of the DC-DC converter so that the power consumption falls within a predetermined allowable range. A control circuit unit is provided.
