Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electric disc brake used for a vehicle such as an automobile.
However, in the method disclosed in
An object of this invention is to provide the electric disc brake which can detect a pad contact position with high precision.
The present invention relates to an electric motor, a conversion mechanism that converts rotational movement of the electric motor into linear movement of a piston, position detection means that detects a rotor rotational position of the electric motor, and detection results of the position detection means. And a control means for controlling the electric motor by causing a current to flow to the electric motor, and the brake pad is pressed by the piston by linearly moving the piston by the electric motor and the conversion mechanism. In the electric disc brake that generates a braking force by bringing the disc rotor into contact with the disc rotor, the control means calculates a current ripple from a detection value of the position detection means and a current value of the electric motor before the disc rotor contacts the brake pad. Current ripple characteristic detecting means for detecting the characteristics, and on the basis of the detection result of the current ripple characteristic detecting means. Characterized by comprising a pad contacting position detection means for detecting a disc rotor contact position of the electric motor brake pads from the current value of that generated in the disk rotor contact the front and rear of the pad, the.
According to the present invention, the pad contact position can be detected with high accuracy.
Hereinafter, an electric disc brake according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, 8 a, 8 b, and 8 c.
FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a caliper of an electric disc brake according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a block diagram schematically showing the electric disk brake of FIG. FIG. 3 is a flowchart for explaining the processing contents of the ECU of FIG.
1 and 2, the
The
The

The

At this time, the displacement amount of the

In this embodiment, ECU4 (control apparatus 5) which is a control means serves as a current ripple characteristic detection means and a pad contact position detection means.

Here, the thrust control performed by the electric brake will be described with reference to FIGS. When the driver operates the
As shown in FIG. 3, the control device 5 (
In step S1, the
ステップS2において、NO(パッド接触位置の検出動作のための条件が揃っていない)と判定すると、ステップS1に戻る。 If YES is determined in step S1, the process proceeds to step S2 to determine whether or not the conditions for the pad contact position detection operation are met. Here, it is assumed that the condition for the detection operation of the pad contact position is a case where there is a wheel that is stopped and braked and the pad contact position is not updated after these conditions are satisfied. If it is determined in step S2 that NO (conditions for detecting the pad contact position are not met), the process returns to step S1.
If it is determined as YES (conditions for detecting the pad contact position are met) in step S2, the process proceeds to step S3 to determine whether or not the current position of the

In the present embodiment, the position-current characteristic of 1 [rev] of the
As a method for storing the position-current characteristics, a method of storing only the maximum value and the minimum value of the current value and the motor position at which they are detected (see Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-106356). Hereinafter referred to as reference technology. ] Can be considered. However, as shown in FIG. 4, the current ripple synchronized with the
In order to solve this problem, in the present embodiment, the measured position-current characteristic of 1 [rev] of the

For example, the position-current shown in FIG. 5B is stored as an example by storing the feature point of the stored position-current characteristics by linear interpolation or polynomial interpolation. The characteristic (current ripple) is obtained, and the position-current characteristic of FIG. 5B is stored in the
(Ii) As shown in FIG. 6, the measured motor current value [FIG. 6 (a)] is Fourier transformed to identify the frequency characteristics of the current ripple [FIG. 6 (b)]. A filter based on frequency characteristics is produced and used as a learning result. At this time, the current measurement performed in step S6 and step S7 (to be described later) and the calculation of the corrected current are performed using the produced filter, and the current ripple is removed.
In step S6, the
In step S8 following step S7, as shown in FIG. 7, the position change amount (dI / dX) of the corrected current is calculated. In step S9 following step S8, it is determined whether or not the position change amount (dI / dX) exceeds a predetermined threshold value (and thus reaches the pad contact position). If YES in step S9, the process proceeds to step S10.
In the present embodiment, the pad contact position is detected by determining whether or not the position change amount (dI / dX) of the corrected current calculated in step S8 exceeds a threshold value (step S9). .
When the current value stored in step S5 is obtained by the method shown in the item (i), in step S7, the correspondence of the rotational position of the
In addition, when the current value stored in step S5 is obtained by the method shown in the item (ii), the corrected current is calculated using the filter produced in FIG. 6 with the measured current value as an input.
As shown in FIG. 7, the current ripple component synchronized with the rotation of the
In step S10, the position x0 detected in step S9 (x0 = 0.3 [rev] in FIG. 7) is set as the pad contact position, and the process proceeds to step S11. Note that, depending on the threshold used for detecting the pad contact position in step S9, the position x0 may be moved to the thrust generation region side. Therefore, a position obtained by returning the pad contact position by a predetermined amount from x0 may be used as the pad contact position. Good. In step S11, it is determined whether or not the pad contact position has been updated on all wheels.
If it is determined in step S11 that the pad contact position has been updated on all the wheels (YES is determined), the pad contact position detection process ends (END). When it is determined NO in step S11 (when the pad contact position of at least one wheel has not been updated), the process returns to step S1.
If NO is determined in step S3, the process proceeds to step S12, the

Thereafter, while the condition that the vehicle is stopped and the braking force is generated is satisfied, a series of operations are performed on the other wheels one by one.
By performing the above processing, even when there are a plurality of current ripples synchronized with the rotation of the
