The present invention relates to a mobile object equipped with a lithium ion secondary battery.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known an electric vehicle that travels with a lithium-ion secondary battery mounted as a power source and an electric motor driven by electric power supplied (for example, see Patent Documents 1 to 4).
The thing of patent document 1 has arrange | positioned the lithium ion secondary battery in the position which comprises the bottom face of the boarding space in a vehicle. This lithium ion secondary battery includes an active material, a conductive additive, a lithium salt, a solvent, and the like, and includes a plurality of column-shaped electrode portions using a polymer electrolyte in order to improve ion conductivity. It is configured to be provided on one surface of the current collector regularly and periodically.
In the device described in Patent Document 2, a lithium ion secondary battery that supplies electric power to the electric motor is disposed between the roof of the automobile using the electric motor as a drive source and the ceiling of the passenger compartment. As this lithium ion secondary battery, a battery using a solid polymer electrolyte is used.
The thing of patent document 3 uses what used the liquid electrolyte or the polymer electrolyte as a lithium ion secondary battery arrange | positioned in the bottom face of the boarding space of an electric vehicle.
The thing of patent document 4 uses what used the polymer electrolyte or the gel electrolyte as a lithium ion secondary battery arrange | positioned at the electric vehicle which supplies electric power to an electric motor.
As described above, as a lithium ion secondary battery mounted on a conventional vehicle as described in Patent Documents 1 to 4, an electrolyte is a liquid electrolyte such as a polymer electrolyte or an organic solvent, or an organic electrolyte such as a gel electrolyte. Used. For this reason, in a conventional vehicle, the lithium ion secondary battery cannot be disposed at a position where a thermal load acts, such as an engine room. For example, the lithium ion secondary battery is disposed at the bottom or ceiling of the boarding space of the vehicle. There is a limit.
Therefore, there is a possibility that the inhabited space in the vehicle is narrowed, the vehicle height is increased and the appearance is impaired, the aerodynamic resistance is increased, and the traveling energy is increased.
In view of such a point, an object of the present invention is to provide a moving body that can supply power satisfactorily even with a moving body including an internal combustion engine.
The moving body of the present invention includes an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, and moves by driving a moving means that applies a predetermined driving force to the moving space by driving at least one of the internal combustion engine and the electric motor. A lithium ion secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte containing lithium (Li), phosphorus (P), and sulfur (S) interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. It is arranged inside the moving means.
In the present invention, the solid electrolyte is preferably a sulfide-based fired body that is heat-treated using lithium sulfide and phosphorus sulfide as raw materials.
Further, in the present invention, the moving means contacts the moving surface on which the moving body moves and rotates to drive the moving body, and the wheels connected to the wheels are connected to the internal combustion engine and the electric motor. The lithium-ion secondary battery includes an axle to which at least one of the driving forces is transmitted, and the lithium ion secondary battery is disposed in an inner space of at least one of the wheels for moving the moving body or the axles to which the driving force is transmitted. It is preferable to be provided.
In the present invention as described above, it has stable characteristics that do not substantially change up to a relatively high temperature, and there is no sudden decrease in ionic conductivity even in a relatively low temperature atmosphere such as a cold district, and the transport number of lithium ions is almost the same. A lithium ion secondary battery using a solid electrolyte as high as 1 is provided inside the moving means. For this reason, power can be supplied satisfactorily even when the temperature rises due to, for example, frictional heat of the moving means and the moving surface (moving space) or the temperature drops due to snow or ice in a cold region, for example. Even when power is received, there is no liquid leakage and power can be supplied stably. In addition, by disposing the lithium ion secondary battery in the moving means, it is possible to increase the degree of freedom in structural design inside the moving body, such as securing a wide boarding space inside the moving body.
(Vehicle configuration)
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing a vehicle equipped with a lithium ion secondary battery according to an embodiment of the moving body of the present invention.
In FIG. 1,
As shown in FIG. 1, a plurality of rechargeable lithium ion secondary batteries that are driven by supplying electric power to the
FIG. 2 is a front view of the

The
The
Further, a
The
Here, a lithium ion secondary battery as a battery cell includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a solid electrolyte that is interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and contains lithium (Li), phosphorus (P), and sulfur (S). Yes.
The positive electrode and the negative electrode are, for example, stainless steel, gold, platinum, zinc, nickel, tin, aluminum, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum, tungsten, titanium, and alloys thereof, and alloys thereof, sheets, foils, nets, etc. Those formed in a punching metal shape or an expanded metal shape are used. In particular, an aluminum foil is preferable for the positive electrode, and an aluminum foil or a tin foil is preferable for the negative electrode in terms of current collection, workability, and cost.
Such a lithium secondary battery has a stable characteristic that does not substantially change to a relatively high temperature, and does not have a rapid decrease in ion conductivity even in a relatively low temperature atmosphere such as a cold district. In addition, the lithium ion transport number of the solid electrolyte shows a high value of approximately 1, and even if it is disposed in the
Further, since the
Further, by using a lithium ion secondary battery having a solid electrolyte as described above, there is eccentricity resistance against centrifugal force. Therefore, even when the
The electrode of the present invention can be produced by forming the following electrode material (positive electrode material or negative electrode material) into a film shape on at least a part of the current collector. As a film forming method, an electrode can be formed by applying a mixed solution in which an electrode material is mixed with a solution to a current collector. Moreover, the blast method, the aerosol deposition method, the cold spray method, the sputtering method, the vapor phase growth method, the thermal spraying method etc. are mentioned similarly to manufacture of the battery member mentioned above. By forming a film by such a method, the porosity of the electrode material layer can be further reduced, and the ionic conductivity can be improved.
Moreover, it is possible to manufacture an electrode layer by the other similar method described in the manufacturing method of a solid electrolyte layer.
The blasting method and the aerosol deposition method are preferable because a film can be formed in a temperature range that does not change the crystal state of the electrolyte under a simple apparatus and room temperature conditions.
Moreover, an electrode can be formed by apply | coating to the electrical power collector the liquid mixture which mixed the pole material with the solution.
Here, it is preferable that the solvent has a low reactivity with the electrode material, but if the electrode material is coated and treated so that the electrode material and the solvent do not react, the reactivity with the electrode material is high. Can also be used.
As a positive electrode material, what is used as a positive electrode active material in the battery field | area can be used. For example, in the sulfide system, titanium sulfide (TiS 2 ), molybdenum sulfide (MoS 2 ), iron sulfide (FeS, FeS 2 ), copper sulfide (CuS), nickel sulfide (Ni 3 S 2 ), phosphoric acid system, Iron olivine (LiFePO4), nickel olivine (LiNiPO4), manganese olivine (LiMnPO4) and the like can be used. Preferably, TiS 2 can be used.
In the oxide system, bismuth oxide (Bi 2 O 3 ), bismuth leadate (Bi 2 Pb 2 O 5 ), copper oxide (CuO), vanadium oxide (V 6 O 13 ), lithium cobaltate (LiCoO 2 ) Iron olivine (LiFePO 4 ), nickel olivine (LiNiPO 4 ), manganese olivine (LiMnPO 4 ) and the like can be used as phosphoric acid systems such as lithium nickelate (LiNiO 2 ) and lithium manganate (LiMnO 2 ). It is also possible to use a mixture of these. Preferably, lithium cobaltate can be used.
In addition to the above, niobium selenide (NbSe 3 ) can be used.
As a conductive assistant, a substance having electrical conductivity for allowing electrons to move smoothly in the positive electrode active material may be added as appropriate. The electrically conductive substance is not particularly limited, but a conductive substance such as acetylene black, carbon black, or carbon nanotube, or a conductive polymer such as polyaniline, polyacetylene, or polypyrrole may be used alone or in combination. Can be used.
As a negative electrode material, what is used as a negative electrode active material in the battery field | area can be used. For example, lithium titanate (LTO, Li 2 TiO 3 ), carbon materials, specifically artificial graphite, graphite carbon fiber, resin-fired carbon, pyrolytic vapor-grown carbon, coke, mesocarbon microbeads (MCMB), Examples include furfuryl alcohol resin calcined carbon, polyacene, pitch-based carbon fiber, vapor-grown carbon fiber, natural graphite, and non-graphitizable carbon. Or a mixture thereof. Preferably, it is artificial graphite.
In addition, metallic lithium, metallic indium, metallic aluminum, metallic silicon, or an alloy combined with these metals themselves, other elements, or compounds can be used as the negative electrode material.
Furthermore, you may mix and use the solid electrolyte material used for an electrolyte layer with an pole material.
The solid electrolyte is mainly composed of lithium element (Li), phosphorus element (P) and sulfur element (S). In particular, Li 2 S and P 2 S 5 are produced from a mixed raw material having a molar ratio of 65:35 to 75:25. In particular, the mixed raw material is heated at 150 ° C. or higher and 360 ° C. or lower in an inert gas atmosphere such as nitrogen. It is preferable that the glass is a sulfide glass which is a sulfide-based fired body. With this composition ratio, high lithium ion conductivity is obtained.
Furthermore, the average particle size of the sulfide-based glass is preferably 0.1 μm or more and 20 μm or less. When the average particle size is smaller than 0.1 μm, the handleability is lowered, and when the fine grain size is coarser than 20 μm, it is difficult to obtain high energy density and high output, and the interface resistance between the positive electrode and the negative electrode and the solid electrolyte is reduced. There is a risk that it cannot be reduced. Furthermore, the dispersibility at the time of forming into a sheet shape may fall, and it may become difficult to form a sheet.
Thus, by using a sulfide-based glass heat-treated with lithium sulfide and phosphorus sulfide as raw materials for a solid electrolyte, it has stable characteristics that do not substantially change to a high temperature of about 400 ° C., and from 0 ° C. A lithium ion secondary battery having a characteristic in which there is no sudden decrease in ionic conductivity even at a relatively low temperature of −40 ° C. can be obtained. Therefore, even when the
The fine particles of sulfide-based glass are produced, for example, by wet pulverization with a non-aqueous solvent or dry pulverization.
As the wet pulverization, various pulverizers can be used. For example, a bead mill or a ball mill vibration mill can be used. In addition, it is preferable to use a ball as a pulverizing medium because the degree of freedom in setting pulverizing conditions is high. In particular, a rolling ball mill, a bead mill, a planetary ball mill, a vibrating ball mill and the like are preferable.
As the non-aqueous solvent, for example, toluene, hexane, tetrahydrofuran (THF), N methylpyrrolidone, acetonitrile, dimethoxyethane, dimethyl carbonate and the like can be used. In particular, a water content of 100 ppm or less, more preferably 50 ppm or less may be used.
The non-aqueous solvent has a solid ratio of 5% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less, preferably 5% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less, in terms of efficiency and handleability due to an appropriate slurry viscosity. Use it.
Moreover, you may add a dispersion stabilizer suitably.
On the other hand, as the dry pulverization, various pulverizers can be used. In particular, a jet pulverizer is effective in that the production of fine particles is easy and mixing of impurities can be suppressed due to non-contact pulverization.
Then, to prevent denaturation, it is pulverized in a low dew point environment. The pulverization is preferably performed at -100 ° C or higher and -25 ° C or lower, particularly preferably at -90 ° C or higher and -30 ° C or lower.

(Ion conductivity calculation method)
Various types of electrolytes having a mass of 150 mg are placed in a tablet molding machine (SPECAC) having a diameter of 10 mmφ and pressurized at 4 MPa. As various electrolytes, sulfide-based solid electrolytes (Example 1), organic electrolytes (Comparative Example 1), and polymer electrolytes (Comparative Example 2) shown in Table 1 below were used.
Thereafter, 10 mg of a mixture of carbon: electrolyte = 1: 1 is added to both end faces in the axial direction of the pellets in the tablet press to make it uniform. Thereafter, pressurization is further performed at 4 MPa. The molded pellet after pressurization was used as an inside evaluation pellet.
This hollow evaluation pellet was installed in an ion conductivity measurement cell, and complex impedance measurement was performed. The instrument was a Solartron 1260 model, the measurement frequency was 10 Hz to 10 MHz, and the measurement was performed at an applied voltage of 10 mV. Measurement temperature was implemented in the range of room temperature (25 degreeC) -200 degreeC. From the measurement results obtained from this, the ionic conductivity was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.
The results are shown in Table 1.
(Lithium ion transport number)
The ion transport number is calculated by measuring the movement of ions in the solid electrolyte by the blocking electrode method in which the following model battery is prepared.
Specifically, one electrode is two lithium electrodes (non-blocking electrodes) sandwiched between solid electrolytes, and the other electrode is two stainless steel electrodes (blocking electrodes) sandwiched between solid electrolytes. As various electrolytes, sulfide-based solid electrolytes (Example 1), organic electrolytes (Comparative Example 1), and polymer electrolytes (Comparative Example 2) shown in Table 1 below were used.
The instrument was a Model 1287 manufactured by Solartron and measured at an applied voltage of 0.1V. The measurement was performed at room temperature (25 ° C.). The ion transport number was calculated from the obtained measurement results based on the formula shown below.
Ion transport number = σion / (σion + σe)> 0.9999
σion: conductivity of non-blocking electrode σe: conductivity of blocking electrode = 4 × 10 −9 [S / cm]
The results are shown in Table 1.
