Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a floating oil recovery apparatus and a recovery method for recovering floating oil from a liquid containing oil. Specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus and method for recovering oil by bubbles covered with oil.
As a method of separating a liquid containing oil into oil and other liquids (typically water), there is a wide range of methods (floating oil separation method) that separates oil by floating on the liquid surface using the difference in specific gravity. It is used. As an apparatus for efficiently performing this type of separation method, a float type apparatus that floats (floats) a floating oil on a liquid surface and sucks it, and selectively absorbs only the floating oil (for example, a belt). There are known a belt type that is adsorbed and removed by an adsorbing material), a filtration type that uses a grease trap, a bubble type that supplies air bubbles into the drainage and re-floats the oil together with the air bubbles.
By the way, a metal processing machine used when cutting, cutting, grinding, or the like of metal uses cooling water (also referred to as coolant liquid or water-soluble cutting oil) in order to suppress frictional heat generated during processing. . Cooling water can be circulated and reused. However, when processing metal, foreign materials such as machine oil or hydraulic oil for the purpose of rust prevention and lubrication of the machine, or metal scraps due to processing are cooled water. It is unavoidable to be mixed in. The mixed machine oil, etc. floats on the liquid level in the storage tank, covers the cooling water, and creates a suitable environment for anaerobic bacteria (sulfate-reducing bacteria) to grow. . Furthermore, the floating oil (including machine oil or hydraulic oil, metal scraps, etc.) causes deterioration of the cooling water and adversely affects the work environment such as machine stickiness. Therefore, it is preferable to efficiently recover the floating oil in the storage tank from the cooling water.
However, in an apparatus using adsorption or filtration, when the oil content in the effluent is small, the separation performance is excellent. However, if the oil content is large, it exceeds the permissible adsorbing or filtering capacity. Maintenance such as replacement is required, and the apparatus cannot be operated continuously. Also, in other devices, the device cannot be operated because it is not suitable for operation until a certain amount of drainage is stored in the storage tank, causing anaerobic bacteria to grow and generating bad odors. It is the cause.
This invention is made | formed in view of this subject, The main objective is to provide the apparatus which isolate | separates and collects floating oil from the liquid containing oil efficiently. Another object is to provide a method for recovering floating oil using such an apparatus. Furthermore, an additional purpose is to provide a recovery means that can prevent the generation of malodor.
An apparatus provided by the present invention to achieve the above object is a floating oil recovery apparatus for recovering floating oil from a liquid containing oil. Such a floating oil recovery apparatus includes an oil suction portion that sucks a liquid to be treated including oil in the vicinity of a liquid surface of a storage tank that stores the liquid, and a gas liquid that is at least partially disposed below the liquid surface A supply pipe having an upper end disposed above the liquid level and a lower end disposed below the liquid level, between the upper end and the lower end and below the liquid level A gas-liquid supply pipe communicating with the oil suction section at a predetermined position; and a bubble supply means for supplying bubbles into the supply pipe from a lower end side of the gas-liquid supply pipe. Then, as the bubbles supplied into the gas-liquid supply pipe rise in the direction of the upper end in the supply pipe, the liquid to be processed is supplied into the supply pipe from the oil suction portion, and the supplied processing target is supplied. The oil in the liquid is attached to the surface of the bubbles in the supply pipe, and the oil is collected together with the bubbles by discharging the bubbles with the oil from the upper end. .
The floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention separates and recovers floating oil from a liquid containing oil. In the floating oil recovery apparatus of the present invention, the oil that floats near the liquid surface is used as the liquid to be processed, but even a liquid containing metal scraps can be used as the liquid to be processed. Oil can be recovered.
In the present invention, a device that directly collects floating oil in a storage tank, which has been conventionally used, or oil that has floated by sending bubbles into the storage tank and attaching the oil to the surface of the bubbles is recovered. It is based on an innovative concept that is different from the device. In the floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention, bubbles are ejected to the liquid to be treated sucked into the gas-liquid supply pipe to attach oil, and the oil-attached bubbles (or the surface is covered with oil, metal debris, etc.) The oil-attached bubbles are expanded and ruptured using an apparatus configured to discharge the bubbles to a position higher than the liquid level of the liquid in the storage tank, and the oil attached to the bubbles is selected. To be collected.
In a preferred aspect of the floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention, the floating oil recovery apparatus includes a siphon that further sends the oil-attached bubbles discharged from the upper end of the gas-liquid supply pipe upward. Moreover, in another preferable one aspect | mode, it is connected with the said siphon, It is equipped with the defoamer arrange | positioned in the position higher than the liquid level of the said storage tank, By bursting the said oil adhesion bubble in the said defoamer, , Selectively recover the oil adhering to the bubbles.
The apparatus including the siphon can discharge the oil-attached bubbles in the gas-liquid supply pipe to a position higher than the liquid level of the storage tank, and send it to a higher position. Thereby, since the air in the oil-attached bubbles expands, it can be ruptured with a slight impact. Further, by installing a defoamer arranged at a position higher than the liquid level, the expanded oil-adhered bubbles can be easily ruptured. As a result, the oil adhering to the bubbles can be efficiently recovered.
Moreover, in another preferable aspect of the floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention, an antifoaming material is provided in the defoamer to contact the bubbles and rupture the bubbles.
As such an antifoaming material, a material that can easily burst air bubbles such as steel wool is preferable. In particular, steel wool is suitable as an antifoaming material because it is relatively inexpensive and easily available, and its shape is easily deformed. The expanded oil-attached bubbles are easily ruptured by contacting the defoaming material provided in the defoamer. As a result, an apparatus having such a configuration can be an apparatus that efficiently recovers oil.
Moreover, in another preferable aspect of the floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention, the apparatus further includes a separation tank for recovering the ruptured bubbles. In another preferred embodiment, the separation tank is configured to separate and recover the oil by a specific gravity difference from the liquid.
The liquid to be treated (typically water) other than oil is included together with the oil-attached bubbles discharged to a position higher than the liquid level. Therefore, a separation tank is installed to collect the ruptured bubbles (typically oil covering the surface). With such a separation tank, the oil and the other liquid to be treated are separated by a specific gravity difference, so that the oil can be easily recovered.
Moreover, in another preferable aspect of the floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention, the liquid to be treated excluding the oil separated in the separation tank is configured to be circulated and supplied to the storage tank.
By collecting the liquid to be treated other than the oil separated due to the difference in specific gravity and supplying it to the storage tank, the liquid in the storage tank circulates, so that it can be an apparatus that suppresses the growth of anaerobic bacteria and does not emit bad odor. Moreover, since the ratio of the oil contained in a to-be-processed liquid reduces, the stickiness by the oil in a storage tank can be suppressed.
Furthermore, in another preferable aspect of the floating oil recovery apparatus provided by the present invention, the bubble supply means includes a porous material disposed below the liquid surface, and air is fed into the porous material. Bubbles are generated from the pores of the porous material.
Porous materials such as porous ceramics produced by firing have a large number of pores inside, so by sending air into the porous material in water, many fine bubbles with a large surface area can be created. . As a result, more oil can be attached to the surface of the bubbles, so that an apparatus with high processing capability can be provided.
The disclosed floating oil recovery apparatus can be preferably used as an apparatus for realizing any of the methods disclosed below.
The present invention also provides a method for recovering floating oil from a liquid containing oil. That is, the floating oil recovery method provided by the present invention supplies air bubbles to a liquid to be treated containing oil near the liquid surface sucked below the liquid surface, and the oil in the liquid to be treated is removed from the bubbles. The oil is collected together with the bubbles by discharging the bubbles to the surface of the liquid and discharging the bubbles to which the oil is adhered onto the liquid surface.
According to such a recovery method, unlike the conventional method of the same type, after the oil contained in the liquid to be treated near the liquid surface is attached to the surface of the bubble, the bubble is positioned higher than the liquid level of the liquid in the storage tank. Since the oil is recovered by discharging the oil, efficient floating oil recovery can be realized.
Further, in a preferred aspect of the floating oil recovery method provided by the present invention, the oil-attached bubbles are raised from the liquid surface to a predetermined position by the principle of siphon to be ruptured, so that the bubbles are at the position. The oil adhering to is selectively recovered. Bubbles raised to a position higher than the liquid level by the siphon principle are easily ruptured because air in the bubbles expands due to a decrease in atmospheric pressure.
Furthermore, it is preferable to burst the bubbles using physical means such as steel wool. In particular, since steel wool is a fibrous metal having a large specific surface area, a large number of the expanded bubbles can be efficiently ruptured. Since the cross section of a typical steel wool is a polyhedron such as a triangle and has an edge, it easily bursts when bubbles come into contact. Thereby, floating oil can be easily recovered from the liquid to be treated.
In another preferred embodiment of the floating oil recovery method provided by the present invention, the ruptured bubbles are recovered, and the oil adhering to the bubbles is separated by a specific gravity difference from the liquid.
By collecting the ruptured bubbles (typically oil adhering to the bubbles), it is possible to easily separate the oil with a difference in specific gravity. Further, the liquid to be treated excluding the oil can be supplied again to the liquid to be treated and circulated. Thereby, the growth of anaerobic bacteria in the liquid containing the oil can be suppressed, and the generation of malodor can be prevented.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described. Note that matters other than matters specifically mentioned in the present specification and necessary for the implementation of the present invention can be grasped as design matters of those skilled in the art based on the prior art in this field. The present invention can be carried out based on the contents disclosed in this specification and common technical knowledge in the field.
The floating oil recovered by the floating oil recovery apparatus disclosed herein refers to general oil that floats near the liquid surface of the liquid containing oil. There is no particular limitation as long as it has a viscosity that can be sucked in from an oil suction portion described later. For example, machine oil or hydraulic oil is mixed with water used when machining metal using machine tools (so-called cooling water, coolant liquid, or water-soluble cutting oil) and floats near the liquid level of the storage tank. Oil in a state (including foreign matters floating on the liquid surface and partially emulsified oil) and the like can be suitably recovered. In the oil recovery method of the present invention, a liquid containing such floating oil can be used as the liquid to be treated.
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. However, the description is not intended to limit the invention to those shown in the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a floating

By supplying the fine bubbles 38 from the bubble supply means 30 installed below the liquid surface as described above, a rising water flow is generated from the lower end portion in the gas-
On the other hand, the liquid to be treated (typically water) excluding the oil is not attached to the surface of the

<Measurement of recovered amount of floating oil>
Floating oil was recovered using the floating oil recovery apparatus shown in FIG. 1, and the amounts recovered were compared with those of the conventional apparatus.
The apparatus according to the present invention used as an example has a storage tank with a capacity of about 50 L, and bubbles are supplied to a gas-liquid supply pipe (diameter: about 25 cm) communicated with an oil suction part that floats on the liquid surface. Such a configuration is provided. And the bubble supply means is arrange | positioned from the lower end part of this gas-liquid supply pipe | tube so that the exhaust air adjusted with the flowmeter to the flow volume of 5.5 L / min may be ejected to a porous material (ceramic stone). In addition, a siphon pipe having a height of about 1000 mm is communicated with the upper end of the gas-liquid supply pipe, and a defoamer having steel wool disposed thereon is provided. Furthermore, a separation tank and a collection tank for collecting the separated oil are provided below the defoamer (see FIG. 1).
Next, the following liquids were prepared and used. Daphne (registered trademark) (product of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., ISO viscosity grade: 32) is used as the floating oil, and 2500 L of the floating oil is added to 2 L of water-soluble cutting oil ES-20AI (Noritake Company Limited product). The added liquid was used as a liquid to be treated.
Moreover, the tube type floating oil collection | recovery apparatus (Tanaka Import Group Co., Ltd. product, tube skimmer TS900) is used as the comparative example 1, and the belt type floating oil collection apparatus (Bunri product, skimmer CBS) is used as the comparative example 2, respectively. The floating oil of the liquid to be treated prepared under the same conditions as in the examples was collected and the amount collected was measured. Note that both the belt type and the tube type are devices that absorb and collect floating oil on the adsorbent.
FIG. 2 is a graph comparing the measurement results of the recovered amount of floating oil recovered by operating each device. According to this, the belt type device (Comparative Example 2) had the largest amount of recovered floating oil after 60 minutes of operation. The recovered amount is about 2200 mL. Next, it was the device (Example) according to the present invention that had a large recovery amount, and the recovery amount was about 1200 mL. In addition, the tube type device (Comparative Example 1) had the smallest recovery amount, and the recovery amount was about 800 mL, indicating about one third of the belt type.
From the measurement results of the amount of floating oil recovered, the apparatus according to the present invention did not obtain the recovered amount as much as the belt type, but more than the tube type. The belt type and the tube type are generally said to be devices with a large amount of recovered floating oil, but it takes time for maintenance such as replacement of the adsorbent, and the continuous operation of the device is difficult. However, it has been confirmed that the apparatus according to the present invention is capable of continuous operation and sufficiently recovers floating oil.
