Description
ここで用いられる「網目状発泡体」という用語は、当業者間で通常使用されているように、実質的にすべての介在する「ウインドウ壁」又は気泡細胞膜が発泡体の気泡細胞から取り除かれ、主として、発泡中に形成された気泡細胞の輪郭に沿って相互結合されたストラットから成る網目が形成された固体発泡体材料を意味する。
1.ネック付与したSMSであり、これは、52%ネック付与され、1.0オンス/平方ヤードの基本重量を有するスパンボンド/メルトブローン/スパンボンド(すべての層は、ポリプロピレンの繊維品質を含む)積層体であった。
2.SBLであり、これは、2.098オンス/平方ヤードの基本重量を有する(スパンボンドポリプロピレン/弾性メルトブローンスチレン系ブロックコポリマー(テキサス州ヒューストンのKrayton Polymersより販売されているKrayton G2760)/スパンボンドポリプロピレンの)延伸接着した積層体であった。
3.ネック付与したスパンボンドであり、これは、0.4オンス/平方ヤードの基本重量を有する45%ネック付与したスパンボンド(ポリプロピレン)であった。

Claims (16)
- 機械的締結具の剪断抵抗を増加する方法であって、
発泡体層と、係合表面を形成する繊維性ウエブを含むランディング層とから成り、前記発泡体層と前記ランディング層との間に元々の剪断抵抗を有する機械的締結具を形成し、
前記機械的締結具が、前記発泡体層と前記ランディング層との間に、前記元々の剪断抵抗より少なくとも約25%大きい改善された剪断抵抗を有するようにするために、前記ランディング層の前記係合表面を機械的に変成する、
ことを含む方法。 - 前記改善された剪断抵抗が、前記元々の剪断抵抗より少なくとも約50%大きくなるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記改善された剪断抵抗が、前記元々の剪断抵抗より少なくとも約75%大きくなるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記改善された剪断抵抗が、前記元々の剪断抵抗の少なくとも2倍になるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 機械的締結具におけるランディング層の周辺長さと縁部長さの比を増加する方法であって、
発泡体層と、係合表面を形成する繊維性ウエブから成るランディング層とを備え、前記繊維性ウエブランディング層の前記係合表面が周辺長さと縁部長さについての元々の比を有するようにされた機械的締結具を準備し、
前記係合表面が、周辺長さと縁部長さについての前記元々の比より少なくとも約50%大きい、改善された周辺長さと縁部長さの比を有するように、前記ランディング層の前記係合表面を機械的に変成する、
ことから成る方法。 - 前記改善された周辺長さと縁部長さの比が、前記元々の周辺長さと縁部長さの比より少なくとも約75%大きくなるようにすることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記改善された周辺長さと縁部長さの比が、前記元々の周辺長さと縁部長さの比より少なくとも約100%大きくなるようにすることを特徴とする請求項5又は請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体層は、自立性ストラットを有する第二の係合表面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体層は、連続気泡発泡体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記発泡体層は、メラミン発泡体及びポリウレタン発泡体から成るグループから選択された発泡体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランディング層は、不織繊維性ウエブから成ることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項10までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランディング層は、スパンボンドウエブから成ることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランディング層は、ボンデッドカーデッドウエブから成ることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12までのいずれ一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランディング層は、メルトブローンウエブからなることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ランディング層の前記係合表面を変成する前記段階は、ブラシ掛け、起毛加工、機械横方向のネック付与、機械方向の延伸、ニードルパンチ、水圧交絡、縁部上での引き摺り、及び超音波ホーン上での引き摺りから成るグループから選択された方法によって達成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前期請求項1から請求項15までのいずれか1項に記載の方法により形成される改善された剪断抵抗を有する機械的締結具であって、
不織繊維性ウエブからなり、係合表面の周辺長さと縁部長さの元々の比が少なくとも約50%増加するように機械的に変成された第一係合表面を形成するランディング層と、
第二係合表面を形成する発泡体層と、
から成り、前記ランディング層の前記第一係合表面は、前記発泡体層の前記第二係合表面に、機械的に取り付けることができるようになったことを特徴とする締結具。
