Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fluid rate gyro, and in particular, non-uniformity due to a potential difference between the electrode unit and the detection unit by disposing the electrode unit in the return channel and arranging the detection unit in the sensing channel. The present invention relates to a novel improvement for preventing the drift of a fluid jet due to a simple electric field distribution and improving the accuracy of angular velocity detection.
As this type of fluid rate gyro that has been conventionally used, for example, a configuration disclosed in Non-Patent Document 1 and the like can be cited. FIG. 8 is a plan view showing a conventional fluid rate gyro. In the drawing, a

Next, the operation of the fluid rate gyro will be described. FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram showing the concept of generation of the
Returning to FIG. 7, the
In the conventional fluid rate gyro as described above, the electrode unit 8 and the
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to prevent fluid jet drift due to non-uniform electric field distribution due to a potential difference between the electrode section and the detection section. An object of the present invention is to provide a fluid rate gyro capable of improving the accuracy of angular velocity detection.

According to the fluid rate gyro of the present invention, since the electrode portion is disposed in the return flow path and the detection section is disposed in the sensing flow path, the electrode section and the detection section can be isolated from each other. As a result, fluid jet drift due to a non-uniform electric field distribution associated with the potential difference between the electrode unit and the detection unit can be prevented, and the detection accuracy of the angular velocity can be improved.
In addition, the electrode section includes a plurality of first and second film-like electrodes arranged alternately at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the first and second passage sections in the first and second passage sections. Therefore, the electrode part can be formed in a planar manner, and the entire gyro can be made thinner.
Furthermore, since the first and second film-like electrodes are provided with a sawtooth portion composed of a plurality of teeth on the front end side and a plurality of arc portions facing the respective teeth on the rear end side, the sawtooth portion An electric field distribution with a sharp electric field change can be formed between the arc portion and the arc portion, and a stronger fluid jet can be generated.
Furthermore, since the first and second film electrodes are provided on the inner wall surface of the base portion or the lid portion, the electrode portion can be more reliably formed in a planar manner.
In addition, since the first and second film electrodes are formed by any one of vapor deposition, plating, sputtering, ion spraying, and printing, the film electrodes are formed on the inner wall surface of the base or the lid. Can be formed more reliably.
Furthermore, since the first and second passage portions are each provided with at least one pair of needle electrode and ring electrode constituting the electrode portion, a fluid jet can be more reliably supplied to the sensing flow path, and the angular velocity can be further increased. It can be detected reliably.
Furthermore, since the electric field conjugate fluid is a single electric field conjugate fluid having an appropriate viscosity or a mixed electric field conjugate fluid in which fluids having different viscosities are mixed and adjusted in viscosity, a fluid jet suitable for sensing is used. The detection unit can reliably supply the angular velocity, and the angular velocity can be detected more reliably.

Next, FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing a circuit configuration of the
As is well known, when an angular velocity ω about an axis orthogonal to the extending direction of the

In the first embodiment, it has been described that the first and second passage portions 7a and 7b are provided with two sets of the
In the first embodiment, it has been described that the electrode portion 8 is disposed in the first and second passage portions 7a and 7b. However, the electrode portion may be disposed in the return flow path, and the first and second passage portions may be disposed in the first and second passage portions. You may arrange | position to an adjacent corner part.

Since the overall configuration of the fluid rate gyro according to the third embodiment of the present invention is the same as the configuration of the first embodiment or the second embodiment, FIGS. Incorporate. First, as is experimentally understood, the electric
