Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a control device for a hybrid vehicle having an engine and a motor generator as a vehicle drive source.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a hybrid vehicle using an engine and a motor generator (generator motor) in combination as a vehicle drive source has been attracting attention in order to improve fuel consumption and the like (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
In a conventional hybrid vehicle, the battery SOC (State Of Charge / charged state, remaining capacity) is set to an intermediate capacity state (mainly in order to achieve both the battery charging function during regenerative braking and the discharging function during torque assist). For example, control is performed to maintain 40 to 80%). In particular, the lower limit value of the battery capacity is set to 40%, for example, in order to hold power necessary for restart after IG (ignition) is turned off in a state where the SOC of the battery is low. . Therefore, in the above-described parallel series type hybrid vehicle or the like, when the engine is stopped and the wheels are driven only by the motor (EV [Electric Vehicle] traveling, etc.), the difference is within the range of 40% which is the difference from the upper limit value. However, since the battery capacity can only be used, there is a problem that there is a limit to the distance at which the engine can be stopped.
In addition, when the battery is over-discharged, the engine is started and the motor generator is turned to charge the battery, so the engine must be used even at a low fuel consumption rate, leading to a deterioration in average fuel consumption. There was also a problem.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a control device for a hybrid vehicle that can extend the distance that the engine can be stopped and the vehicle can run only with a motor, and that can improve fuel efficiency. According to the
DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of a hybrid vehicle control device according to the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 shows a schematic configuration of a hybrid vehicle to which the control device of the present embodiment is applied. The hybrid vehicle shown in FIG. 1 is connected to an
The driving force of the driving source is transmitted to the pair of
A
Further, in the present embodiment, two first and
Further, the hybrid vehicle shown in FIG. 1 includes a
The
Moreover, the
Further, the
On the other hand, the
That is, the first and
Each of the first and
In hybrid vehicles, a motor generator is used to start the engine, and then torque assist, regenerative braking, and the like. In the engine start by this motor generator and subsequent torque assist during vehicle shift, the battery and the motor generator It is necessary to send and receive large power through the inverter. In particular, in order to start the vehicle with the engine stopped or to run on EV as described above, it is necessary to reduce the power transmission loss by setting the power supply voltage of the battery to a high voltage of 100 to 400V.
Also in this embodiment, the power supply voltage by the battery is set to a high voltage of 100 to 400 V, but the battery pack is divided into two parts, the first and
Further, since a power supply voltage of 100 to 400 V is necessary, the battery for the main unit described above is used as an assembled battery in which a large number of unit cells are connected in series. In this embodiment, the first and second batteries are used. Each of the
Now, the reason why the first and
In other words, the conventional configuration is such that one or two motor generators are supplied with power from a single battery pack via an inverter, whereas in this embodiment, the first and
As shown in FIG. 2A, the first and
As described above, in the present embodiment, the usable capacity of the
By the way, as described above, when the regenerative operation is performed, the
Desirably, the
Next, the charge / discharge control operation by the
FIG. 3 shows a process for controlling the outputs of the first and
First, control is largely divided between when the power running operation is started and when it is not (when the
When the power running operation is started and the SOC of the
When the power running operation is not started and the SOC of the
The above control processing is executed as a sub control program executed as an interrupt processing of a known main control program performed by the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the
In the above example, as described above, the first and
In this example, also for the reasons described above, first, it is determined whether or not the state of charge of each of the first and
On the other hand, if the SOC of the
In addition, this invention is not limited to embodiment mentioned above, A various change is possible in the range which does not deviate from the main point of this invention. For example, in the above-described embodiment, as the capacities that the first and second batteries can use, the SOC as the charge state of the first and second batteries is maintained at 40 to 80% and 10 to 90%, respectively. However, it is also possible to perform control so as to have other charging states other than these, and it is also possible to use the first and second batteries in a different usage range.
The present invention is widely applicable to a hybrid vehicle having an engine and a motor generator as a drive source of the vehicle, in particular, a hybrid vehicle capable of running only by motor drive by the motor generator with the engine stopped.
