Description

The present invention relates to a toothbrush, and more particularly to a toothbrush in which a plurality of bristles formed by bundling a plurality of bristles are implanted in a flocking table to form a brush portion.

A toothbrush has a plurality of bristles bundled by fixing a plurality of bristles by, for example, implanting a flat wire into a plurality of flock holes provided in a flocking table or fusing them by heat. It is obtained by forming a brush portion comprising a hair bundle. In addition, the toothbrush should efficiently perform appropriate brushing according to the tooth parts such as the interdental and smooth parts of the tooth surface, the buccal side and the lingual side of the tooth surface, and the tooth type such as the front teeth and the back teeth. Various ideas have been made on the arrangement of the hair bundle, the overall shape of the brush portion, the shape of the bristles, and the like.

On the other hand, as an effective way to care for teeth, brushing methods such as the scrubbing method and bath method are known in which brushing is performed by applying small and fine vibrations while pressing the tip of the brush part against the tooth surface. Yes. In such a polishing method, it is desirable to ensure a contact area as large as possible with respect to the tooth surface even in a state where the tip of the brush portion is pressed against the tooth surface without applying much force.

In addition, for example, various toothpastes with excellent color removal performance have been developed to make the front teeth look beautiful. When using these toothpastes to maintain teeth for the purpose of color removal, It is desirable that the brushing of the front teeth can be performed efficiently by maintaining a state in which the tip of the brush portion is pressed with a considerable contact area from the interdental portion to the smooth portion of the tooth surface.

The present invention makes it easy to brush between the back teeth and the back teeth, and when brushing the front teeth, the brush portion has a considerable contact area from the interdental portion to the smooth portion without applying too much force. It is an object of the present invention to provide a toothbrush that can efficiently perform brushing while maintaining a state in which the tip of the tip is pressed.

The present invention is a toothbrush having a brush portion comprising a plurality of hair bundles planted on a flocking table, and when the brush portion is viewed from the side, the ridge line connecting the tips of the hair bundles is the length of the brush portion. A shape including a small mountain portion arranged at a tip portion in the direction, a large mountain portion that is continuous to the rear of the small mountain portion across the valley bottom, and has a longer length in the longitudinal direction of the brush portion than the small mountain portion, The mountainous area is formed such that the height from the flocking table is gradually increased from the bottom of the valley to the top of the mountainous area, and the height from the flocking table at the top of the mountainous area is the flocking at the top of the mountainous area. The length of the line segment that is higher than the height from the platform and connects the top of the mountain and the top of the mountain is 4.3 to 9.2 mm, and from the valley bottom to the mountain top and the mountain A toothbrush with a length of 0.8 to 1.6 mm perpendicular to the line connecting the top of the part By subjecting, in which to achieve the above objects.

According to the toothbrush of the present invention, it is possible to polish the interdental portion efficiently, and when brushing the front teeth, considerable contact is made from the interdental portion to the smooth portion without applying much force. Brushing can be performed efficiently while maintaining the state where the tip of the brush portion is pressed against the area.

As shown in FIGS. 1A and 1B, a toothbrush 10 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a gripping portion (not shown), a flocking table 11, and a neck portion 12 positioned therebetween. . The toothbrush 10 includes a bunch of tufts 15 (15a, 15b) formed by bundling a plurality of bristles 14 (14a, 14b) in a plurality of flocking holes 13 (13a, 13b) formed in the flocking table 11 of the toothbrush body. Each is constructed by flocking (planting). Here, according to the present embodiment, the first flocking hole 13a is a circular flocking hole having a large diameter of, for example, 1 to 2.5 mm, and the first flocking hole 13a has a diamond-shaped cross-section bristle. A rhombic hair bundle 15a in which 14a is bundled is planted. The second flocking hole 13b is, for example, a circular flocking hole having a diameter of 1 to 2.0 mm, which is the same as the first flocking hole 13a, preferably smaller than the first flocking hole 13a. A circular hair bundle 15b in which circular cross-section bristles 14b are bundled is implanted in the second hair filling hole 13b.

And the toothbrush 10 of this embodiment has the brush part 16 which consists of several hair | bristle bundles 15a and 15b, and when the brush part 16 is seen from a side, the front-end | tip (short side of the toothbrush 10) of the hair | bristle bundles 15a and 15b. The ridge line s connecting the tip of the highest hair bundle in the direction Y) continues to the rear of the small mountain portion 17 with the small mountain portion 17 disposed at the distal end portion in the longitudinal direction X of the brush portion 16 and the valley bottom portion 19 in between. , And a large mountain portion 18 having a length L2 in the longitudinal direction X of the brush portion 16 larger than that of the small mountain portion 17. Here, the valley bottom part 19 between the small mountain part 17 and the large mountain part 18 means the lowest position between the small mountain part 17 and the large mountain part 18 drawn by the ridge line s. And the high mountain part 18 is gradually high from the flock base 11 from the valley bottom part 19 to the top part 18a of the said large mountain part 18. Further, the ridge line 18b of the large mountain part 18 is inclined with respect to the surface of the flock base 11 by a straight line connecting the valley bottom part 19 and the top part 18a of the large mountain part 18 so that the valley bottom part 19 and the small mountain part 17 of the ridge line 17b of the small mountain part 17 It is smaller than the inclination with respect to the surface of the flock base 11 that connects the top portion 17a.

In the toothbrush 10 of the present embodiment, the height of the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 from the flocking table 11 is higher than the height of the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18 from the flocking table 11, and the top portion 17a and the large mountain portion of the small mountain portion 17 are. The length of the line segment L connecting 18 top portions 18a is 4.3 to 9.2 mm, and the line segment connecting the valley bottom portion 19 to the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 and the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18 is connected. The length of the perpendicular D dropped to L is 0.8 to 1.6 mm.

Further, in the present embodiment, the ridge line s connecting the tips of the hair bundles 15a and 15b is continuous with the valley bottom portion 20 behind the large mountain portion 18, and includes a rear small mountain portion 21 that is substantially symmetrical with the small mountain portion 17. It has a shape.

In the present embodiment, the toothbrush body is made of a synthetic resin such as polypropylene, polyester, ABS resin (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer), for example, and the flat surface of the flocking table 11 has 3 tip portions in the longitudinal direction X. The first flocking holes 13a are formed as openings, and the rear portions of the first flocking holes 13a are formed with three rows in the width direction Y of the brush portion 16 and a total of eight second flocking holes 13b. Yes. In addition, at the rear part of these second flocking holes 13b, one row and two first flocking holes 13a are formed in the width direction Y of the brush portion 16, and further behind these first flocking holes 13a. The part is formed with a total of six second flocking holes 13 b in two rows in the width direction Y of the brush portion 16. And in the rear part of these 2nd flocking holes 13b, it is located in the rear-end part of longitudinal direction X of brush part 16, and the 1st flocking hole 13a of 1 row and 2 places in the width direction Y of brush part 16 Is formed as an opening.

Each of these flocked holes 13a and 13b has a depth of about 1.5 to 4.5 mm. In each flocked hole 13a and 13b, a rhombic hair bundle 15a or a circular hair bundle 15b is flat. It is planted with a hair length of 7 to 15 mm from the surface of the flocking table 11 by a method of driving a wire or a method of fusing with a heat. A rhombus hair bundle 15a is implanted in the first flocking holes 13a at three positions at the tip. Then, circular hair bundles 15b are planted in the eight second flock holes 13b behind the rhombic hair bundles 15a, and the rhombus hair bundles 15a are further inserted into the two first flock holes 13a behind them. Circular hair bundles 15b are installed in the six second hair transplant holes 13b, and rhombus hair bundles 15a are installed in the first two hair transplant holes 13a behind the second hair transplant holes 13b.

In the present embodiment, the rhombic hair bundle 15a is a hair bundle in which 80 to 100% of all the bristle is a diamond-shaped cross-section bristle, and the circular hair bundle 15b is a regular polygonal cross section of a circle or a hexagon or more. A hair bundle made of bristle.

As described above, the rhombic hair bundle 15a and the circular hair bundle 15b are implanted in the flock base 11 of the toothbrush 10, so that the rhombus hair bundle 15a has the area ratio and the whole hair bundle constituting the brush portion 16. It occupies an area of 25 to 75% of the total area of 15a and 15b. Here, the area of each hair bundle 15a, 15b is equivalent to the cross-sectional area in the root part of each hair bundle 15a, 15b, The opening area of the 1st flock hole 13a in which these are planted, and the 2nd flock hole 13b is set. It is calculated through. According to this embodiment, it is preferable that the rhombus hair bundle 15a is contained in the plurality of hair bundles 15a and 15b constituting the brush portion 16 in an area ratio of 25 to 50%, and 30 to 45%. More preferably. Since the rhomboid hair bundle 15a is contained in the whole hair bundles 15a and 15b in an area ratio of 25 to 75%, an advantage of being effective in removing plaque can be obtained.

The rhombic cross-sectional bristle 14a constituting the rhombic hair bundle 15a is a filament material made of synthetic resin such as nylon, and has a cross-sectional shape of a parallelogram that approximates a rhombus or a rhombus, as shown in FIG. ing. Moreover, as for the diamond-shaped cross-sectional bristle 14a, as a bristle diameter, for example, twice the cross-sectional secondary radius has a thickness of 6 to 10 mil (0.15 to 0.25 mm), and this is, for example, a dozen to several By bundling ten pieces, a rhombus hair bundle 15a having a bundle diameter of 1.0 to 2.5 mm, for example, corresponding to the opening shape of the first flocking hole 13a described above is formed.

Here, as for the cross-sectional shape of the rhombus cross-section bristle 14a, the ratio of the long diagonal line to the short diagonal line (long diagonal line / short diagonal line) is 1.2 to 1.9 in two diagonal lines of rhombus or parallelogram shape. Preferably it is. When the ratio of the long diagonal line to the short diagonal line is 1.2 to 1.9, there is an advantage that the bristle easily enters the interdental region and the contact area of the bristle with the smooth portion of the tooth surface is increased. Further, the rhombus hair bundle 15a can sufficiently exhibit the function as the rhombus hair bundle 15a if the bristle constituting the hair bundle 15a includes 80-100% of the diamond cross-section bristle 14a. . In addition, according to this embodiment, in addition to the round process being given to the tip of each rhombus cross-section bristle 14a, it can also be processed into a taper shape.

The circular cross-section bristle 14b constituting the circular hair bundle 15b is a filament material made of a synthetic material such as nylon or a natural material such as pig hair, and has a circular cross section or a hexagon or more as shown in FIG. Having a regular polygonal cross section. Moreover, the circular cross-section bristle 14b has a diameter of, for example, 6 to 10 mil (0.15 to 0.25 mm) as a bristle diameter. A circular hair bundle 15b having a bundle diameter of, for example, 1.0 to 2.0 mm, which corresponds to the opening shape of the second flocking hole 13b described above, is formed. In addition, according to the present embodiment, the tip of each circular cross-section bristle 14b can be rounded, for example, or can be processed into a tapered shape or a spherical shape.

And according to the toothbrush 10 of this embodiment, as shown in FIG.1 (b) and FIG. 2, when the brush part 16 is seen from a side, the front-end | tip (short side of the brush part 16) of the hair | bristle bundle 15a, 15b A ridge line s connecting a tip end having the highest height from the flock base 11 in the direction Y) and a ridge portion 17 sandwiching the valley bottom portion 19 between the ridge portion 17 disposed at the tip portion in the longitudinal direction X of the brush portion 16. The large mountain portion 18 has a longer length L2 in the longitudinal direction X of the brush portion 16 than the small mountain portion 17, and the inclination of the ridge line 18b with respect to the surface of the flock base 11 is a small mountain portion. It is smaller than 17. Further, according to the present embodiment, the brush portion 16 has a ridge line formed by the tips of the hair bundles 15a and 15b in each row along the width direction Y (short direction of the brush portion 16). However, it is preferable from the viewpoint of efficient brushing that the tips of the hair bundles 15a and 15b have the same height and the ridge line connecting the tips of the hair bundles in each row in the width direction Y is formed substantially horizontally. Here, when the ridge line connecting the tips of the hair bundles in each row in the width direction Y is substantially horizontal, even if there is a difference in the height of the bristle or each hair bundle constituting the hair bundle, the difference is 0. Within the range of 3 mm, preferably within the range of 0.1 mm. Further, the ridge line s seen from the side surface has a small mountain portion 17 at the tip and a rear small mountain portion 21 at the rear end via valley bottom portions 19 and 20 on both sides of the central large mountain portion 18. It is preferable to have a substantially symmetrical shape with the center as the center.

Further, in the present embodiment, the ridge lines 17b on both sides of the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 have a curved shape that is convex outward, the radius of curvature is 2.0 to 4.0 mm, and the rear small mountain portion. The ridgelines 21b on both sides sandwiching the top 21a of 21 are also curved outwardly convex and have a radius of curvature of 2.0 to 4.5 mm. The ridge line 18b of the large mountain part 18 is also curved outwardly, and has a larger radius of curvature than the ridge lines 17b and 21b of the small mountain part 17 and the rear small mountain part 21, and the curvature radius is 10 to 25 mm.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the height from the flock base 11 of the top part 17a of the small mountain part 17 is higher than the height from the flock base 11 of the top part 18a of the large mountain part 18, preferably 0.2 to 2.0 mm, More preferably, it is 0.3 to 0.7 mm higher. The height from the flock base 11 of the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 is 0.2 to 2.0 mm higher than the height from the flock base 11 of the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18, so that the small mountain portion 17 is toothed. The contact area to the smooth part of the tooth surface of the large mountain part 18 can be enlarged in the state where it was put in between.

.   In this embodiment, the length of the line segment L connecting the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 and the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18 is 4.3 to 9.2 mm, and is 5.0 to 7.8 mm. More preferably. By setting the length of the line segment L to 4.3 to 9.2 mm, the contact area to the smooth portion of the tooth surface of the large mountain portion 18 can be increased in a state where the small mountain portion 17 is inserted between the teeth. . .

.   Moreover, it is preferable that the length of the perpendicular D dropped to the line segment L connecting the valley bottom portion 19 to the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 and the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18 is 0.8 to 1.6 mm. More preferably, it is 9 to 1.3 mm. By setting the length of the perpendicular line D lowered from the valley bottom part 19 to the line segment L to 0.8 to 1.6 mm, the large mountain part 18 becomes the smooth part of the tooth surface with the small mountain part 17 inserted between the teeth. It becomes easy to contact, and especially the contact area to the tooth surface of the front tooth can be increased. .

Furthermore, in this embodiment, the length L1 in the longitudinal direction X of the brush portion 16 of the small mountain portion 17 is preferably 4.0 to 4.7 mm, and more preferably 4.3 to 4.7 mm. . Since the length L1 in the longitudinal direction X of the small mountain portion 17 is 4.0 to 4.7 mm, the region of the mountain bottom portion of the small mountain portion 17 is a tooth surface in a state where the small mountain portion 17 is inserted between teeth. It becomes difficult to hit the smooth portion, and the valley bottom portion 19 is likely to be positioned at the corner portion following the interdental portion of the tooth surface, so that the contact area of the large mountain portion 18 with the smooth portion can be increased.

Furthermore, in this embodiment, it is preferable that the length L2 of the brush part 16 of the large mountain part 18 of the longitudinal direction X is 5.8-10.5 mm. Since the length L2 in the longitudinal direction X of the large mountain portion 18 is 5.8 to 10.5 mm, the ridge line 18b formed by the tips of the hair bundles constituting the large mountain portion 18 has a height from the flocking table 11. It is gradually formed higher from the valley bottom 19 to the top 18a, and the contact area to the smooth portion of the tooth surface of the large mountain portion 18 can be increased in a state where the small mountain portion 17 is inserted between the teeth.

According to the toothbrush 10 of the present embodiment having the above-described configuration, the teeth can be efficiently brushed by the small ridges 17, and the tooth surfaces can be efficiently brushed by the large ridges 18. In particular, the front teeth are brushed. When performing, brushing efficiently while maintaining the state where the tip of the brush portion 16 is pressed with a considerable contact area from the interdental portion of the tooth surface to the smooth portion without applying too much force. It becomes possible to do.

In other words, according to the present embodiment, the ridge line s connecting the tips of the hair bundles 15 a and 15 b is connected to the ridge line 17 b of the ridge portion 17 disposed at the tip portion of the flocking table 11 and the ridge portion 17 across the valley bottom portion 19. The ridge line 18b of the large mountain portion 18 that is longer in the longitudinal direction of the brush portion 16 than the small mountain portion 17, and the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 is the top portion of the large mountain portion 18. It is higher than 18a, the length of the line segment L connecting the top part 17a of the small mountain part 17 and the top part 18a of the large mountain part 18 is 4.3 to 9.2 mm, and the perpendicular line D descending from the valley bottom part 19 to the line segment L The length is 0.8 to 1.6 mm. Therefore, the small teeth 17 can efficiently brush between the teeth, and as shown in FIG. 4, the brush tip 16 is pressed against the tooth surface while applying a small fine vibration to the scrubbing method or bath method. When brushing the front teeth 22 by inserting the apex portion 17a of the small ridge portion 17 into the interdental portion 22a of the front teeth 22, the valley bottom portion 19 between the small ridge portion 17 and the large mountain portion 18 becomes the smooth portion of the front teeth 22. The bristles of the hair bundle forming the ridge line 18b of the large mountain portion 18 come into contact with each other over a wide area of the smooth portion 22b of the front teeth 22, so that the front teeth 22 It is possible to efficiently brush the interdental portion 22a and the smooth portion 22b over a wide range at the same time.

In addition, according to the present embodiment, the ridge line s connecting the tips of the hair bundles 15a and 15b has a shape including the rear small mountain portion 21 that is substantially symmetrical with the small mountain portion 17 behind the large mountain portion 18. If the brushing angle of the toothbrush body with respect to the front teeth 22 is changed, the top portion 21a of the rear small ridge portion 21 can be inserted between the teeth, and further, the rear small ridge portion 21 is inserted into the interdental portion 22a of the front teeth 22. The bottom 20 of the valley between the upper tooth portion 18 and the large mountain portion 18 is disposed close to the corner portion of the smooth portion 22 b of the front tooth 22, and the hair ends of the hair bundle forming the ridge line 18 b of the large mountain portion 18 are the front teeth 22. Since the contact is made over a wide area of the smooth portion 22b, the inter-tooth portion 22a and the smooth portion 22b of the front tooth 22 can be efficiently brushed over a wide range at the same time as described above. .

Furthermore, according to this embodiment, since the ridge line 17b of the small mountain part 17 and the ridge line 18b of the large mountain part 18 are curved convex surfaces, the tip of the hair bundle constituting the small mountain part 17 is the tooth surface in the interdental part 22a. The tip of the hair bundle constituting the ridge line 18b of the large mountain portion 18 can be increased in contact with the smooth portion 22b of the front tooth 22.

FIGS. 5A and 5B show a toothbrush 30 according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention. In the toothbrush 30 shown to Fig.5 (a), (b), the length of the width direction Y of the flocking base 11 is formed in the taper shape gradually decreased toward the front-end | tip from the rear end side, and the flocking hole 13a, The number of 13b is smaller than the toothbrush 10. In addition, the toothbrush 30 is formed with the same inner diameter of 1.7 to 2.5 mm, in which the first flocking hole 13a in which the rhombic bristles 15a are planted and the circular bristles 15b are planted. ing. And the rhomboid hair | bristle bundle 15a is planted in the three 1st flocking holes 13a of the front-end | tip part of the longitudinal direction X of the flocking table 11. FIG. The first flocking holes of the first, third, and fourth from the front end side of the center row are arranged in a total of 15 first flocking holes 13a and second flocking holes 13b in the rear of these rhombic hair bundles 15a. A rhombic hair bundle 15a is implanted in 13a, and a circular hair bundle 15b is implanted in the other 12 second hair implantation holes 13b.

Further, in the toothbrush 30 shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b), the ridge line s connecting the tips of the hair bundles 15a and 15b (the tip of the highest hair bundle from the flock base 11 in the short direction Y) 11 is provided with a shape including a small mountain portion 17 disposed at a tip portion of the eleventh portion and a large mountain portion 18 constituting a ridge line 18b continuous behind the small mountain portion 17. The ridge line 18 b of the large mountain part 18 is formed with a smaller inclination from the valley bottom part 19 to the top part 18 a than the small mountain part 17. Further, the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 is higher than the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18, and the length of the line segment L connecting the top portion 17a of the small mountain portion 17 and the top portion 18a of the large mountain portion 18 is 4.3 to 3. 9.2 mm, the length of the perpendicular D drawn from the valley bottom 19 to the line segment L is 0.8 to 1.6 mm. By having such a configuration, the toothbrush 30 shown in FIGS. 5A and 5B has the same operational effects as the toothbrush 10 of the above embodiment.

The present invention can be variously modified without being limited to the above embodiments. For example, the ridgeline of the small mountain portion or the large mountain portion does not necessarily have a curved shape, and may be a straight mountain shape, or may be linear only on one side across the apex. Further, it is not always necessary to provide a rear hill part that is substantially symmetrical with the small hill part on the tip side behind the large hill part, and the rear hill part is asymmetrical with the hill part even if omitted. Also good. Furthermore, it is not always necessary that the plurality of hair bundles constituting the brush portion include a rhombus hair bundle.

Hereinafter, although the toothbrush of this invention is demonstrated in detail by an Example and a comparative example, this invention is not limited to these.

[Comparative Example 5, Example 3]
The toothbrush of the comparative example 5 is shown in FIG. 11, and the toothbrush of the example 3 is shown in FIG. In the toothbrushes of Comparative Example 5 and Example 3, as shown in FIGS. 11A and 12A, flocking holes 13 a and 13 b are formed in the flocking table 11 in the same manner as in Example 1. In the toothbrush of the comparative example 5, the rhombic hair bundle 15a is implanted in the first flocking hole 13a and the circular flock 15b is implanted in the second flocking hole 13b as in the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 11 (b), the shape of the brush portion viewed from the side is generally flat and the height of the hair bundles 15a and 15b from the flocking table is uniform. As shown in FIG. 12B, the toothbrush of Example 3 has the same shape as the toothbrush of Example 1 as seen from the side of the brush part. However, as shown in FIG. A rhombus 15a is implanted in each of the pores 13b. In addition, the diameter of the flock hole 13a of the comparative example 5 and Example 3 is 1.8 mm, and the diameter of the flock hole 13b is 1.6 mm.
Moreover, in the following evaluation of plaque or dirt removal and evaluation of the feeling of use, the toothbrush of Example 1 was used with a diameter of the flock hole 13a of 1.8 mm and a diameter of the flock hole 13b of 1.6 mm.
And the total area of the flocking which connected the outer edge of the flocking hole in the outermost peripheral side of the toothbrush of Example 1, Example 3, and the comparative example 5 is 137.4 mm < 2 >, Comprising: The sum total of the area of a flocking hole is 45. It was 9 mm 2 .

In order to evaluate the plaque or dirt removal effect using the toothbrushes of Examples 1 and 3 and Comparative Example 5, evaluation was performed according to the following evaluation model. An evaluation model for removing plaque or dirt is shown below.
(Method)
(1) As shown in FIG. 13A, a tooth model is created in which curved surfaces of rectangular aluminum blocks each having a curved surface having a radius of curvature R of 2.5 mm face each other.
(2) Video tape (Seiyu private brand “S'RIBBON” standard type (120 minutes, model number 3T120SR)) is attached as a dental plaque or colored stain model of the tooth model of (1), and this is a video tape. The magnetic layer.
(3) A tooth model (aluminum block) to which the prepared colored dirt model is attached is mounted on a test stand, and brushing is performed with each toothbrush using a brushing machine (FIG. 13 (a)).
(4) The brushing conditions were a load of 300 g, an amplitude of 30 mm, a speed of 120 rpm, and a brushing frequency of 120 (reciprocating), using 0.5 g of dentifrice (Clear Clean Plus Whitening (manufactured by Kao)).
(5) As shown in FIG. 13 (b), the evaluation area of the tooth model is a smooth surface area on both sides sandwiching the interdental portion excluding the interdental portion (region where the aluminum block R is formed), In this evaluation area, the area (mm 2 ) of the portion where the magnetic layer of the video tape magnetic layer was peeled and the base of the tape was exposed (whitened) was calculated by image analysis and used as a stain removal area.

(result)
Table 2 shows the evaluation results of the dirt removal effect performed on the toothbrushes of Examples 1 and 3 and Comparative Example 5. Table 2 shows the toothbrushes of Examples 1 and 3 when the photograph of the magnetic layer after the brushing by the evaluation model of each toothbrush, the dirt removal area, and the dirt removal area by the toothbrush of Comparative Example 5 are 100%. The relative evaluation of the soil removal area was shown. Further, Table 2 also shows the feeling of use by three female subjects.

Figure 2009273760
Figure 2009273760

As is clear from Table 2, in the flat-cut toothbrush of Comparative Example 5, not only the toothbrush is difficult to reach between the teeth, but also the dirt removal area is small, and the hair bundle of the same height as a whole is a tooth surface, particularly a smooth portion. The feeling of use was evaluated as a somewhat hard polishing feeling.
In the toothbrush having the ridge shape at the tip of the hair bundle of the present invention as in Examples 1 and 3, Example 1 is about 2 compared to the flat cut shape in which the height of the hair bundle is substantially uniform as in Comparative Example 5. As a result, the result of the dirt removal area was about 1.8 times as high as that of Example 3. On the other hand, in the toothbrush in which all of the hair bundles are diamond-shaped hair bundles as in Example 3, the dirt removal area is large, but there is a feeling of rigidity compared to Example 1, and the hair tip feels hard when used. Met. Therefore, Example 1 has a higher effect of removing plaque or dirt than Example 3, and also has a high evaluation in use feeling.
