微分回路9は、LPF8からの位相差信号を微分して出力する。
ここで、微分回路9の機能について説明しておく。
例えば、本実施形態のように音叉型水晶振動素子等を加速度センサとして加速度検出を

即ち、

The LPF 8 extracts and outputs a low frequency signal from the phase difference signal output from the phase comparison circuit 7.
The differentiation circuit 9 differentiates and outputs the phase difference signal from the LPF 8.
Here, the function of the differentiating circuit 9 will be described.
For example, when performing acceleration detection using a tuning fork type crystal vibrating element or the like as an acceleration sensor as in this embodiment, the acceleration value and the frequency deviation of the sensor frequency (the frequency f before the acceleration is applied)
1 and the difference between the applied frequency f2 (Δf = f2−f1)) is proportional.
That is,
Acceleration ∝Δf (FM detection output)
Will satisfy the relationship.
However, in this embodiment, since the phase of the two frequencies obtained from the acceleration sensor is compared in the phase comparison circuit 7, the phase detection output Φ is obtained from the phase comparison circuit 7. This phase detection output Φ is equal to the integral value of the frequency deviation Δf. That is,
Phase detection output Φ = ∫Δf
Will satisfy the relationship.
Therefore, the acceleration detecting device of the present embodiment is provided with a differentiating circuit 9, and in the differentiating circuit 9, L
An acceleration value is obtained by differentiating the phase detection output Φ output as an output signal from the PF 8. That is,
The relationship of FM detection = dΦ / dt = Δf 関係 acceleration is satisfied.
The signal differentiated by the differentiating circuit 9 is output as an acceleration detection signal Sα via the
In the acceleration detecting device of the present invention, at least one of the first and second tuning-fork type crystal vibrating elements is an acceleration detecting element whose resonance frequency changes with respect to a change in acceleration.

The differentiation circuit 9 of the acceleration detection apparatus 1 shown in FIG. 1 will be described.
As a general differentiation circuit, a circuit using an operational amplifier as shown in FIG. The positive phase input terminal of the operational amplifier OP is grounded, one of the series connection circuits of the resistor R1 and the capacitor C1 is connected to the negative phase input terminal, and the other is used as the input terminal IN. This is a differential circuit in which a parallel connection circuit of a resistor R3 and a capacitor C2 is connected between the negative phase input terminal and the output terminal OUT of the operational amplifier OP. The output voltage Vout of this differentiation circuit is proportional to the value obtained by time differentiation of the input voltage Vin.
In the case of an acceleration detection device using such a differentiation circuit 13 (a), it is possible to detect acceleration in a state where acceleration ≠ 0, but to detect stationary acceleration (a constant speed state, etc.). I can't.
That is, in the case of static acceleration, the detection signal from the LPF 8 becomes a constant current signal, which is shown in FIG.
The output of the differentiating circuit is “0” because it is completely cut off by the capacitance C1 of the differentiating circuit shown in FIG.
become. Also, in the case of acceleration at a low frequency close to the static acceleration (the amount of time change in acceleration is small), the output signal of the LPF 8 is attenuated by the capacitor C1, so the output of the differentiation circuit is attenuated, and FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the acceleration value cannot be obtained accurately with low-frequency acceleration.
Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, a differential circuit was devised in which acceleration is accurately obtained from static acceleration to high frequency acceleration. The circuit shown in FIG. 5 is a differentiating
The resistor R1 is connected in series to the parallel circuit of the resistor R4, the parallel connection side is connected to the negative phase input terminal of the operational amplifier OP, and the resistor R1 side is used as the input terminal IN. The differential circuit is configured by connecting a parallel connection circuit of a resistor R3 and a capacitor C2 between the negative phase input terminal and the output terminal OUT of the operational amplifier OP. By connecting the resistor R4 (bypass resistor) in parallel with the capacitor C1, a constant current signal at the time of stationary acceleration is supplied to the operational amplifier OP through the resistor R4, and further, a feedback signal is supplied to the operational amplifier OP through the resistor R3. The stationary acceleration can be detected. Further, as shown in a later drawing, it is possible to detect the acceleration in the region of several mHz without being attenuated.

FIG. 6 shows an example of the characteristics of the differentiating circuit shown in FIG.
This is a frequency (Hz) -gain (dB) characteristic when 0 is set to 50 Hz and the cut-off frequency fc is set to 2.3 Hz. As is well known, the gain increases in proportion to the frequency up to the frequency F0.
FIG. 7 shows the constant values of the
4 is 3.3 kΩ, 68 kΩ, 68 kΩ and 10 kΩ, respectively, and capacitances C1 and C2 are 1 μF, respectively.
It is a frequency (Hz) -gain (dB) characteristic at the time of setting to 47000 pF. Frequency F0
Is set to 50 Hz. As apparent from FIG. 7, it can be seen that the bottom of the frequency (Hz) -gain (dB) characteristic approaches the frequency F0.
As a differentiation circuit capable of measuring both static acceleration and dynamic acceleration with high accuracy, as shown in FIG. 8, a resistor R4 is used at the point (cross point) where the sensitivity of the static acceleration and the sensitivity of the dynamic acceleration match.
It is desirable to set the value of.
That is, arithmetic processing is required to recognize the magnitude of acceleration from the electrical signal output from the acceleration detection device. However, in an acceleration detection device in which acceleration sensitivity is not set at a cross point, there is a difference in sensitivity characteristics between static acceleration and dynamic acceleration. Therefore,
The arithmetic expression for numerically converting the electrical signal output from 5 as the magnitude of acceleration cannot be made common to stationary acceleration and dynamic acceleration. In this case, for example, a circuit for determining whether the state is a stationary state or a dynamic state is required. On the other hand, in the case of an acceleration detection device in which the sensitivity of acceleration is set at a cross point, the above-described arithmetic expression can be made common to static acceleration and dynamic acceleration. Therefore, the acceleration detection device can be configured with a small circuit configuration. FIG. 9 shows that the constant value and the resistors R1 and R3 of the differentiating

The horizontal axis represents the bypass resistance R4, and the vertical axis represents the amplification degree (acceleration sensitivity) of the differentiation circuit. In the case of an acceleration sensor with a F0 of 50 Hz and a bandwidth of 10 Hz, the resistance R4 at the cross point where the amplification degree of the static acceleration and the dynamic acceleration intersect is 5.7 kΩ.
