Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a control device for an in-cylinder internal combustion engine that directly injects fuel into a cylinder from a fuel injection valve.
In general, in a cylinder injection internal combustion engine, fuel is directly injected and supplied from a fuel injection valve into a cylinder so as to realize combustion at an air-fuel ratio that is much leaner than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio, so-called stratified combustion. ing.
However, in such an in-cylinder injection type internal combustion engine, when the temperature of the injection hole portion of the fuel injection valve is low, a part of the fuel injected from the fuel injection valve remains attached to the injection hole portion without burning. It may become the state of. When the fuel adheres to the nozzle hole in this manner, the volatile component of the attached fuel evaporates due to the heat of the fuel injection valve, and the low-volatile carbonized component in the fuel accumulates in the nozzle hole as a deposit. Become. For this reason, the temperature of the nozzle hole part of the fuel injection valve is set high so as to suppress the temperature drop of the nozzle hole part and to suppress deposit accumulation. In this case, the injection hole portion includes an injection hole that opens at the downstream end of the fuel final injection path and a needle that opens or closes the injection hole by seating on or away from the upstream end of the final injection path. The deposit accumulates not only in the nozzle hole but also in the vicinity of the needle (hereinafter, the same applies to the nozzle hole part).
On the other hand, when the temperature of the nozzle hole portion of the fuel injection valve is set too high, the generation of oxide in the fuel is promoted, and there is a possibility that the deposit amount increases as the temperature rises.
By the way, in the case of an internal combustion engine mounted on an automobile or the like exported overseas, a harmful effect may occur depending on the fuel situation at the export destination. For example, in the fuel of an internal combustion engine used in the Middle East, African countries, China, etc., the sulfur content in the fuel may greatly exceed the domestic standard value.
In that case, if the fuel contains a large amount of sulfur, the injection hole of the fuel injection valve is cooled, and when the temperature falls below 120 ° C, ammonia sulfate, which is a combustion product derived from sulfur, is produced. This deposits in the nozzle hole as a deposit.
The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and an object of the present invention is to effectively prevent deposits in a nozzle hole portion of a deposit made of ammonia sulfate generated from a fuel containing a large amount of sulfur. An object of the present invention is to provide a control device for an internal combustion engine.
In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, as a control device for an internal combustion engine, a fuel injection valve that directly injects fuel into a cylinder of the internal combustion engine, a sulfur detection means that detects the content of sulfur in the fuel, Temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the nozzle hole of the fuel injection valve; and execution means that operates to raise and lower the temperature of the nozzle hole of the fuel injection valve. When the sulfur content detected by the sulfur detection means exceeds a predetermined value and the temperature of the injection hole portion of the fuel injection valve detected by the temperature detection means is lower than the predetermined value, the execution is performed. Control means for controlling so as to increase the temperature of the nozzle hole of the fuel injection valve is provided.
Due to this specific matter, the sulfur content detected by the sulfur detection means exceeds a predetermined value (for example, several hundred ppm), and the temperature of the nozzle hole portion of the fuel injection valve detected by the temperature detection means is a predetermined value (for example, When the temperature is lower than 120 ° C., the execution means is operated by the control means to increase the temperature of the injection hole of the fuel injection valve. As a result, even if the sulfur content in the fuel exceeds a predetermined value, the temperature of the nozzle hole portion of each fuel injection valve does not fall below the predetermined value, and the production of ammonia sulfate, which is a combustion product derived from the sulfur content. Is suppressed, and deposits in the nozzle hole portion are effectively prevented from being deposited.
In addition, it is possible to suppress deterioration in exhaust performance when the temperature of the nozzle hole portion of the fuel injection valve falls below a predetermined value (for example, 120 ° C.) and misfire during idling.
Further, when the sulfur detection means for detecting the sulfur content in the fuel based on the sulfur content in the exhaust gas discharged from the cylinder is applied as the sulfur detection means, The sulfur detection means is relatively simple and compact, and is very advantageous for implementation.
In short, in short, when the sulfur content exceeds a predetermined value and the temperature of the injection hole of the fuel injection valve is lower than the predetermined value, the execution means is operated to increase the temperature of the injection hole of the fuel injection valve. By doing so, even if the sulfur content in the fuel exceeds a predetermined value, the production of ammonia sulfate is suppressed, effectively preventing deposits from depositing on the nozzle hole and It is possible to prevent adverse effects due to deposition on the part. Moreover, deterioration of exhaust performance when the temperature of the nozzle hole portion of the fuel injection valve falls below a predetermined value and misfire during idling can be suppressed.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2 show a schematic configuration of the entire engine control system. In FIG. 1, a gasoline engine 1 (hereinafter referred to as an engine) as an internal combustion engine includes four
As shown in FIG. 1, a
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a
A cooling
On the other hand, each
A part of the exhaust gas is recirculated to the intake side between the downstream side of the
The
The
Further, the
In addition, the
Then, the
Here, the flow of control by the
First, in step ST1 of FIG. 4, it is determined whether or not the sulfur content in the exhaust gas detected by the
Next, in step ST3, it is determined whether or not the temperature of the
On the other hand, when the determination in step ST1 is NO where the sulfur content in the exhaust gas is less than a predetermined value, and the determination in step ST3 is that the temperature of the
Thereafter, in step ST6, it is determined whether or not the temperature of the
Therefore, in the above embodiment, the injection hole portion of the
Further, since the sulfur content in the exhaust gas is detected by the infrared absorption type
In addition, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment, The other various modifications are included. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the
Moreover, in the said embodiment, although sulfur content in exhaust gas was detected by the
