Claims (11)
- 赤色域、緑色域、青色域の3色それぞれの共振器を有する有機発光素子において、
前記有機発光素子は複数の層で構成され、当該各層iの屈折率niと膜厚diを乗じて2倍した値の和になる光学的長さをΣ2nidi、界面反射による位相シフトとオフセット長さ分を加算した長さをΔ、自然数をm、共振波長をλとしたとき、
前記有機発光素子の共振器全長Lを、L=Σ2nidi+Δ=mλとし、
前記赤色域の発光の共振器全長が、当該赤色域の波長λRのm倍で、且つ、前記青色域の発光の共振器全長が、当該青色域の波長λBの(m+1)倍であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項1に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記緑色域発光の有機発光素子については、その共振器全長Lを増大又は減少させることにより、前記青色域又は前記赤色域にあった共振条件を当該緑色の発光領域にシフトさせて利用することを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 赤色域、緑色域、青色域の3色それぞれの共振器を有する有機発光素子において、
前記有機発光素子は複数の層で構成され、有機発光素子の各層iの屈折率niと膜厚diを乗じて2倍した値の和になる光学的長さをΣ2nidi、界面反射による位相シフトとオフセット長さ分を加算した長さをΔ、自然数をm、共振波長をλとしたとき、
前記有機発光素子の共振器全長Lを、L=Σ2nidi+Δ=mλとし、
前記赤色域の発光の共振器全長が赤色域波長λRのm倍であり、且つ、前記緑色域の発光の共振器全長が青色域波長λGの(m+1)倍で、前記青色域の発光の共振器全長が青色域波長λBの(m+2)倍であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項1又は3に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記赤色域の発光と青色域の発光のそれぞれで、それらの発光色で位相が揃う共振条件を同時に満たしていることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項4に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記共振器全長Lが、1010nm、1180nm、又は1320nmの±5%であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項4に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記共振器の双方の反射鏡の鏡面反射では1/2波長の位相シフトがなく、且つ、当該反射鏡間の光学的長さが187nm、476nm、又は714nmの±5%であることを特徴とする有機表示素子。 - 請求項4に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記共振器の一方の反射鏡の鏡面反射でのみ1/2波長の位相シフトがあり、且つ、当該反射鏡間の光学的長さが323nm、595nm、の±5%であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項3に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記赤色域の発光、前記緑色域の発光、前記青色域の発光での共振条件を同時に満たしていることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項8に記載の有機発光素子において、
共振器全長Lが、1390nm又は2122nmの±5%であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項8に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記共振器の双方の反射鏡の鏡面反射では1/2波長の位相シフトがなく、且つ、当該反射鏡間の光学的長さが833nm、又は1122nmの±5%であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。 - 請求項8に記載の有機発光素子において、
前記共振器の一方の反射鏡の面反射でのみ1/2波長の位相シフトがあり、且つ、当該反射鏡間の光学的長さが680nm、935nm、又は1224nmの±5%であることを特徴とする有機発光素子。
