Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a laser processing apparatus and a laser processing method.
In a laser processing apparatus, a laser beam emitted from a laser light source is converged by a converging lens such as an fθ lens, and processing such as drilling or cutting a workpiece (workpiece) is performed at the focal position of the lens. is there. In such a laser processing apparatus, there is a so-called spherical aberration in which laser light incident on the periphery of the converging lens is condensed at a position closer to the lens than that incident on the center of the lens. The beam power at the condensing position where the refracted laser light is condensed is stronger than that of the laser light refracted at the center of the lens. Therefore, at the time of processing, adjustment is made so that laser light mainly from the lens periphery is focused on the workpiece.
However, in the laser processing apparatus as described above, since the laser light from the center of the lens passes through the work and is condensed on the back side, if there is a non-working object on the back side of the work, the non-working object There is a risk that objects will be damaged by the laser beam from the center of the lens.
However, in the laser processing apparatus as described in Patent Document 1, since the central portion of the laser light is shielded by the mask, there is a problem that a part of the laser light emitted from the laser light source is wasted. There was still room for improvement.
The present invention has been made in order to solve the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a laser processing apparatus and a laser processing method capable of suppressing the spherical aberration of the converging lens to be small while efficiently using laser light.
DESCRIPTION OF EXEMPLARY EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, an embodiment of the invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
A
The

A
When the laser beam L is incident from the plane side of the
The

An operation mode of the
FIG. 2A shows a state in which the distance D1 between the
Further, with respect to the reference state of FIG. 2A, for example, as shown in FIG. 2C, if the distance D1 between the
Next, characteristic effects of the present embodiment will be described.
(1) The
(2) In this embodiment, since the
(3) In this embodiment, since the
(4) In this embodiment, since the
