Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a port for injecting or removing a liquid material from a container body. The present invention also relates to a medical container for storing a liquid material to be administered to a patient when performing enteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition, or the like.
Enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition are known as methods for administering nutrition and drugs to patients without oral administration. In enteral nutrition, a liquid such as a nutrient, liquid food, or drug is administered through a tube passed from the patient's nasal cavity to the stomach or duodenum. In the parenteral nutrition method, a liquid (generally referred to as “infusion”) containing nutritional components such as glucose and drug components is administered via an infusion line inserted into a patient's vein.
When performing enteral nutrition or parenteral nutrition, a liquid container prepared in a working room is usually filled in a medical container, which is then transported to a patient's room where the liquid is administered to the patient.
As a medical container used for enteral nutrition and parenteral nutrition, the periphery of two flexible sheets is heat-sealed around a cylindrical port and formed into a bag shape Containers are known (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The liquid material is injected into the container through the port. In order to measure the amount of the liquid material injected into the container, a transparent or translucent material is used as a sheet constituting the container, and the sheet is generally scaled.
When a liquid material is injected from a port into a conventional container as disclosed in
Patent Documents 2 and 3 describe methods for preventing foaming of a liquid material (infusion solution) in an infusion tube.
Patent Document 2 describes a
However, if the method for preventing foaming in the drip tube described in Patent Document 2 and Patent Document 3 is applied to a medical container as disclosed in
The
Further, when the
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, can prevent foaming of the liquid material when the liquid material is injected into the medical container, and injects the liquid material into the medical container at a large flow rate. Another object of the present invention is to provide a port and a medical container that do not damage the sheet even when an impact such as dropping is applied to the container.
The port of the present invention is attached to a container body in which flexible sheets are bonded together in a bag shape, and injects a liquid material into the container body or takes out the liquid material stored in the container body. And a sealing portion formed on an outer peripheral surface on one end side of the tubular portion, to which the sheet is bonded. A bridging portion that divides the liquid passage hole in two is formed at or near the end of the tubular portion on the side where the seal portion is provided. When viewed along the central axis of the tubular portion, the longitudinal direction of the bridging portion is parallel to the long axis direction of the seal portion.
The medical container of the present invention is a container body in which a flexible sheet is bonded together in a bag shape, and a liquid material is injected into the container body or a liquid material stored in the container body is taken out. A medical container having the above-mentioned port, wherein the port is the above-described port of the present invention.
A bridging portion that divides the liquid passage hole into two is formed at or near the end of the tubular portion of the port of the present invention where the sealing portion is provided, and the longitudinal direction of the bridging portion is the long axis direction of the sealing portion. Parallel. Accordingly, the liquid material that has flowed into the port is divided into two divided flows at the bridge portion, and then flows along the inner wall surface of the sheet of the container body. In other words, there is almost no liquid material that flows directly from the port onto the liquid surface of the liquid material accumulated in the lower part of the container body without flowing on the inner wall surface of the sheet. Therefore, foaming of the liquid material can be prevented in the container body.
Furthermore, the area where the bridging portion closes the liquid passage hole is small, and even if the bridging portion is provided, a flow path through which the liquid material passes can be sufficiently secured. Therefore, the liquid material can be injected into the medical container at a large flow rate.
In addition, since the bridging portion does not have to have a sharp tip like the
In the port of the present invention described above, it is preferable that the bridging portion has a plate-like portion having a collision surface facing the upstream side in the flow direction of the liquid material flowing into the container body. Thereby, the magnitude | size of the speed component of the direction orthogonal to the central axis of a tubular part which a bridge | crosslinking part provides with respect to a liquid substance can be enlarged. Therefore, since the amount of the liquid material flowing along the inner wall surface of the sheet of the container main body can be increased after being divided into two split flows at the bridging portion, foaming can be further prevented.
It is preferable that the bridging portion further includes a division portion erected toward the upstream side in the flow direction at a substantially center of the plate-like portion. Thereby, it can prevent that a liquid substance stagnates on the collision surface of a plate-shaped part, or foaming by a liquid material colliding with a collision surface.
In this case, it is preferable that the dividing portion has a narrow wedge shape on the upstream side in the flow direction and thick on the downstream side. Thereby, foaming when the liquid material collides with the collision surface can be further reduced.
The cross-sectional shape of the bridging portion along the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the bridging portion is narrow on the upstream side in the flow direction of the liquid material flowing into the container body, and has a wide end spreading shape on the downstream side. May be. Also in this case, foaming when the liquid material collides with the cross-linked portion can be reduced.
In a cross-sectional view along the plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the bridging portion including the central axis of the tubular portion, the dimension of the bridging portion in the direction perpendicular to the central axis of the tubular portion is the largest. The large portion is preferably located on the downstream side in the flow direction with respect to the downstream end of the tubular portion in the flow direction of the liquid material flowing into the container main body. Thereby, since the quantity of the liquid substance which flows along the inner wall surface of the sheet | seat of a container main body can be increased, foaming can be prevented further.
It is preferable that the surface (lower surface) of the bridging portion facing the upstream side in the flow direction of the liquid material flowing into the container body has a smooth convex curved surface. Thereby, when the liquid in the container body flows out from the port with the port on the lower side, it is possible to prevent the liquid from remaining on the lower surface of the bridging portion. Moreover, even if the lower surface of the bridging portion contacts the sheet of the container main body, it is possible to further reduce the occurrence of troubles such as the sheet being damaged and torn.
In the medical container according to the present invention, it is preferable that two sheets constituting the container body are bonded to each other with the seal portion sandwiched in the minor axis direction. As a result, the liquid material that has flowed into the port is divided into two split flows at the bridging portion, and then proceeds toward two sheets. Therefore, many liquid substances flow on the inner wall surface of the sheet. Therefore, foaming of the liquid material can be further prevented in the container body.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail while showing specific embodiments. However, it goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments shown below.
FIG. 1 is a front view showing a schematic configuration of a medical container (hereinafter simply referred to as “container”) 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The
The
The material of the
2A is a perspective view of the
The
The
A bridging
As shown in FIG. 2E, the cross-sectional shape of the bridging
The
A method for injecting a liquid material into the
For example, the
FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing the flow of the liquid material flowing into the
After injecting a predetermined amount of liquid material into the
In the present embodiment, since the longitudinal direction of the bridging
Further, as apparent from FIG. 2C, the area where the bridging
As shown in FIG. 2E, the downstream side edges 52a and 52b of the

The above embodiment is merely an example, and the present invention is not limited to this embodiment, and can be changed as appropriate.
