少なくとも景品価値情報と未買取のものであるか又は買取済みのものであるかを示す買取情報とを記憶する情報記憶部を有する景品を受け入れる景品受入部と、該景品受入部にて受け入れた景品における前記情報記憶部に記憶された情報を読み取る情報読取手段と、該情報読取手段により読み取られた買取情報に基づいて、前記景品受入部にて受け入れた景品が未買取のものであるか又は買取済みのものであるかを判定する買取情報判定手段とを備えた景品買取装置であって、
前記買取情報判定手段より前記景品が未買取のものであると判定された場合に、当該景品の情報記憶部に記憶されている買取情報を、買取済みのものとなるように更新する更新手段と、
前記更新手段による前記更新が正常に行われたか否かを判定する更新判定手段と、
前記更新判定手段により前記更新が正常に行われたと判定された景品を収容する正常景品収容部と、
前記更新判定手段により前記更新が正常に行われなかったと判定された景品を収容する異常景品収容部と、
