Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell system including means for ventilating leaked hydrogen.
However, in the fuel cell system as in the prior art, when high concentration hydrogen stays in the vicinity of the opening of the casing, the hydrogen is pushed out by the air exhausted from the blower, and the high concentration hydrogen remains outside the casing. There is a problem of being discharged.
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and an object thereof is to provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing high-concentration hydrogen from being discharged outside the casing.
The invention according to claim 1 houses a fuel cell that generates electricity by being supplied with cathode gas and anode gas, an offgas pipe through which cathode exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell circulates, and the fuel cell and the offgas pipe. A fuel cell system, and a vent opening for exhausting ventilation gas for venting the gas in the casing, wherein the open end of the off-gas pipe and the vent opening are disposed adjacent to each other. It is characterized by being.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the open end of the off-gas pipe and the ventilation port are disposed adjacent to each other, the leakage hydrogen discharged from the ventilation port is diluted with the cathode exhaust gas, and the outside of the fuel cell system. Can be discharged. Further, when the cathode exhaust gas is discharged from the opening end, the surrounding area becomes a negative pressure, so that it is possible to promote the discharge and dilution of the gas from the ventilation port.
The invention according to claim 2 is characterized by comprising ventilation gas introduction means for introducing the ventilation gas into the casing.
According to the invention which concerns on Claim 2, it becomes possible to guide | emit the gas which stays in a casing inside to a ventilation port efficiently.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cathode exhaust gas amount increasing means for increasing the flow rate of the cathode exhaust gas, and a gas leak detecting means for detecting an anode gas leak inside the casing, and the anode by the gas leak detecting means. When it is detected that gas leaks, the cathode exhaust gas amount increasing means increases the cathode exhaust gas amount.
According to the third aspect of the present invention, in order to increase the flow rate of the cathode exhaust gas in order to promote the dilution of the gas discharged from the ventilation port when anode gas leakage is detected, the anode gas is discharged to the outside. It is possible to reliably reduce the gas concentration of the gas.
The invention according to claim 4 is characterized in that the vicinity of the ventilation port is formed such that the cross-sectional area of the channel is narrower toward the upstream side.
According to the invention according to claim 4, since the flow velocity of the gas discharged from the ventilation port is increased by narrowing the cross-sectional area of the flow passage near the ventilation port of the casing as compared with the upstream side, the gas flows from the ventilation port to the outside. The diffusibility of the gas when discharged to improve the mixing and dilution performance with the cathode exhaust gas.
The invention according to claim 5 is characterized in that an open end of the off-gas pipe is disposed in the ventilation port.
According to the invention which concerns on Claim 5, the clearance for interference prevention which should be provided around off-gas piping can be utilized as it is.
The invention according to claim 6 is characterized in that an open end portion of the off-gas pipe is located closer to the upper side in the gravity direction than the ventilation port.
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, since the leaked anode gas discharged from the ventilation port is lighter than air and flows upward due to buoyancy, the dilutability can be improved by arranging the open end of the off-gas pipe above. Further improvement is possible.
According to the fuel cell system of the present invention, high concentration hydrogen can be prevented from being discharged outside the casing.
FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing a fuel cell vehicle equipped with the fuel cell system of the present embodiment, FIG. 2 is a plan view when the open end and the vent of the offgas pipe are viewed from the rear of the fuel cell vehicle, and FIG. FIG. 4 shows the flow rate of the cathode exhaust gas when hydrogen leak is detected, (a) is when hydrogen leak is not detected, and (b) is hydrogen leak detection when the hydrogen leak is detected in the fuel cell system of this embodiment. It's time. In the present embodiment, the fuel cell vehicle V in which the fuel cell system 1 is mounted on a vehicle (automobile) will be described as an example. However, the fuel cell system V is not limited to the fuel cell vehicle V (vehicle). It can be applied to everything from stationary home power supplies.
As shown in FIG. 1, the fuel cell system 1 mounted on the fuel cell vehicle V includes a fuel
The fuel
The
The
The
The off-
The electric fan (ventilation gas introduction means) 40 is disposed at the
The ventilation gas introducing means is not limited to the
The
As shown in FIG. 2, the
Further, the
Further, the
Next, the operation of the fuel cell system of this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. During the operation of the fuel cell system 1 (IG-ON), hydrogen is supplied from the
Further, during the operation of the fuel cell system 1, the
Thus, in the present embodiment, during operation of the fuel cell system 1, control is performed as described later by a control unit (not shown). That is, in step S100, it is determined whether or not hydrogen leakage has been detected (whether or not the hydrogen concentration has exceeded a predetermined value). The determination of whether or not hydrogen leakage is detected is based on whether hydrogen leakage at a concentration (predetermined concentration) that cannot be sufficiently diluted by the cathode exhaust gas discharged from the off-
If it is determined in step S100 that no hydrogen leak has been detected (No), in step S110, the flow rate of the cathode exhaust gas discharged from the
When it is determined in step S100 that hydrogen leakage has been detected (Yes), the flow rate of the cathode exhaust gas discharged from the
In step S130, the control unit (not shown) determines whether an ignition switch provided in the fuel cell vehicle V is turned off (IG-OFF). If it is determined in step S130 that it is not IG-OFF (No), the process returns to step S100, and if it is determined that it is IG-OFF (Yes), the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, since the
Further, according to the present embodiment, by providing the
Further, according to this embodiment, when hydrogen leakage is detected, the flow rate of the cathode exhaust gas is increased, so that the concentration of hydrogen discharged to the outside from the
In addition, according to the present embodiment, the flow passage cross-sectional area of the
Further, according to the present embodiment, since the
Moreover, in this embodiment, the position of the
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and may be the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 or FIG. FIG. 5 shows a modified example of the open end of the offgas pipe and the ventilation port, (a) is a plan view, (b) is a cross-sectional view, and FIG. 6 is another modified example of the open end of the offgas pipe and the ventilation port. FIG.
As shown in FIG. 5A, the
According to this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5 (b), the leaked hydrogen discharged from the
Moreover, as shown in FIG. 6, you may arrange | position so that the
Although not shown, the
