Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a camera module and the like, and more particularly to a camera module and the like mounted on, for example, a mobile phone.
In recent years, camera systems are mounted on various devices such as mobile phones. In such a camera system, a camera module that forms a subject image on an image sensor using a microlens is widely used.
With regard to such a camera module, for example,
By the way, in the case of a camera module using a package sensor in which an image sensor and a cover glass are integrated, the pedestal mount does not hit the circuit board in order to securely solder the pedestal mount housing the package sensor and the circuit board. Thus, a predetermined clearance is provided.
If such a clearance remains between the pedestal mount and the circuit board, flare or the like occurs in the subject image formed on the image sensor due to stray light caused by external illumination light or the like. For this reason, such clearance needs to be filled with an adhesive or the like.
However, such a clearance filling operation is usually performed after a reflow soldering process in which a circuit board on which a camera module is mounted is heated in a predetermined heating furnace (reflow furnace). This is one of the causes of productivity decline.
Also, when the camera module is electromagnetically shielded (EMI shield) by a conductive film formed on the surface of a separate metal cover or pedestal mount, after the reflow soldering process, using a conductive adhesive or solder, A step of energizing the shield part to the circuit board is required.
The present invention has been made to solve the technical problems described above. That is, the object of the present invention is to eliminate the need to fill up the clearance between the pedestal mount and the circuit board in a later process, and to allow energization to the circuit board of the shield part during reflow heating, improving productivity and material. The object is to provide a camera module capable of reducing the cost.

Moreover, it is preferable that the circuit board joined to the image pickup device has a step formed so that a portion where the terminal portion joined to the bottom surface portion melted at the reflow temperature is a concave portion.
Here, it is preferable that the reflow temperature which enables joining of an image pick-up element and a circuit board is 190 to 290 degreeC.

A mounting process in which a camera module is mounted on a circuit board coated with paste, and a predetermined clearance is provided between the circuit board and a bottom surface portion made of a thermoplastic resin provided at a lower end of a pedestal mount of the camera module. A heating step of filling a clearance provided between the circuit board and the image pickup apparatus. Manufacturing method is provided.
Here, it is preferable that the thermoplastic resin which comprises the bottom face part provided in the lower end of the base mount is a hot melt adhesive.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail. The present invention is not limited to the following embodiments, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the invention. The drawings used are for explaining the present embodiment and do not represent the actual size.

センサ5は、CCD(Charge Coupled Device)やCMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)等のイメージセンサ(撮像素子)である。本実施の形態では、CSP(Chip Scale Package)構造を有するセンサを用いている。

As such a thermoplastic resin, for example, the viscosity at the reflow temperature is 3,000.
Examples include mPa · s to 10,000 mPa · s. Specific examples include polycarbonate resins and hot melt adhesives. Among them, as the hot melt adhesive, for example, polyamide resin hot melt adhesive mainly composed of polyamide resin such as 11 nylon or 12 nylon; polyurethane resin hot melt adhesive mainly composed of thermoplastic polyurethane resin; amorphous And polyolefin resin hot melt adhesives mainly composed of a conductive polypropylene resin. When a hot melt adhesive is used, a black one is preferable for preventing reflection.

Thereafter, an adhesive is poured into the gap between the side end surface of the fitted

Next, the circuit board on which the
At this time, the
Thus, in the manufacturing method of the imaging device having the

The

Furthermore, in this embodiment, a synthetic resin compound containing conductive fillers such as copper fibers, aluminum flakes, and stainless steel fibers is prepared, and the
