Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fuel cell system in which a fuel cell module, a combustor, a desulfurizer, a fuel gas supply device, an oxidant gas supply device, a water supply device, a power conversion device, and a control device are accommodated in a casing.
In general, a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) uses an oxide ion conductor, for example, stabilized zirconia, as a solid electrolyte, and an electrolyte / electrode in which an anode electrode and a cathode electrode are disposed on both sides of the solid electrolyte. The joined body is sandwiched between separators (bipolar plates). This fuel cell is normally used as a fuel cell stack in which a predetermined number of electrolyte / electrode assemblies and separators are laminated.
As the fuel gas supplied to the fuel cell, hydrogen gas generated from a hydrocarbon-based raw fuel by a reformer is usually used. In a reformer, generally, after obtaining a reforming raw material gas from a hydrocarbon-based raw fuel such as fossil fuels such as methane and LNG, steam reforming, partial oxidation reforming, or A reformed gas (fuel gas) is generated by performing autothermal reforming or the like.
In this case, a fuel cell system in which a fuel cell, a reformer, a power conversion device that converts DC power generated in the fuel cell into a power output specification, a control device, and auxiliary devices are built in a single unit case ( Fuel cell devices) are known.
For example, in the fuel cell device disclosed in Patent Document 1, as shown in FIG. 18, a
As a result, the parts requiring maintenance are arranged not in the package 1 but in the vicinity of the
Further, in order to prevent deterioration of the reforming catalyst due to sulfur poisoning, a desulfurizer (such as the desulfurizer 4 of Patent Document 1) is usually installed upstream of the reformer, and the sulfur component contained in the raw fuel gas Has been done to remove.
For example, the desulfurizer disclosed in
Thereby, since the raw material supplied from the
However, in said patent document 1, arrangement | positioning (layout) which considered the operating temperature range and function of each apparatus is not made. For this reason, particularly when high-temperature fuel cells (solid oxide fuel cells, molten carbonate fuel cells, etc.) and medium-temperature fuel cells (phosphoric acid fuel cells, hydrogen separation membrane fuel cells, etc.) are used. There is a problem that the low temperature portion where the operating temperature is low is easily affected by diffusion of heat and fluid.
On the other hand, in
The present invention solves this type of problem, and each device is arranged for each operating temperature and function to minimize the diffusion of heat and fluid, improve the desulfurization efficiency of the desulfurizer, and desulfurization agent An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell system that can be used successfully over a long period of time.
The present invention provides a fuel cell module that generates electric power by an electrochemical reaction between a fuel gas and an oxidant gas, a combustor that raises the temperature of the fuel cell module, and a sulfur component contained in raw fuel to remove the fuel gas. A desulfurizer to be generated, a fuel gas supply device that supplies the fuel gas to the fuel cell module, an oxidant gas supply device that supplies the oxidant gas to the fuel cell module, and water to the fuel cell module The present invention relates to a fuel cell system in which a water supply device, a power conversion device that converts direct-current power generated in the fuel cell module into required specification power, and a control device that controls the power generation amount of the fuel cell module are housed in a casing. Is.
In the desulfurizer, the supply port to which the raw fuel is supplied is disposed below the discharge port from which the fuel gas is discharged, and is set in a linear flow direction from the supply port to the discharge port. On the other hand, the housing includes a module unit in which the fuel cell module and the combustor are disposed, a fluid supply unit in which the desulfurizer, the fuel gas supply device, the oxidant gas supply device, and the water supply device are disposed, and power conversion. The module unit having a polygonal shape in plan view and having a first side surface and a second side surface with a corner portion interposed therebetween is divided into an electrical component unit in which the device and the control device are disposed, The fluid supply unit is disposed on the side surface of the first side, and the electrical component is disposed on the second side surface side.
The desulfurizer is provided between a filling chamber that is filled with a desulfurizing agent that removes sulfur components contained in the raw fuel and generates fuel gas, an upstream side of the filling chamber, and a supply port. A supply chamber for uniformly supplying fuel to the filling chamber; and a discharge chamber provided between the downstream side of the filling chamber and a discharge port for discharging the fuel gas from the filling chamber evenly. It is preferable to provide.
Therefore, since the raw fuel supplied from the supply port is once stored in the supply chamber, it is supplied uniformly over the entire filling chamber. On the other hand, since the fuel gas (desulfurized raw fuel) is once stored in the discharge chamber from the filling chamber, the fuel gas can be discharged uniformly from the entire filling chamber. Thereby, the entire desulfurizing agent can be used effectively, and the desulfurization efficiency can be improved.
Further, the desulfurizer preferably includes at least either a first mesh member that partitions the supply chamber and the filling chamber or a second mesh member that partitions the filling chamber and the discharge chamber. The first mesh member has a function of removing dust and the like contained in the raw fuel and preventing the refined desulfurizing agent from flowing upstream. On the other hand, the second mesh member has a function of preventing the refined desulfurizing agent from flowing downstream.
Furthermore, it is preferable that at least one of the first mesh member and the second mesh member is configured such that the mesh in the central portion is denser than the mesh in the peripheral portion. By setting the flow resistance on the center side of the desulfurizer where the raw fuel or fuel gas easily flows to be higher than the flow resistance on the peripheral side, the entire desulfurization agent can be used effectively and the desulfurization efficiency can be improved.
Moreover, it is preferable that a 1st mesh-shaped member is comprised by a center part deform | transforming convexly at the supply port side. For this reason, the supply chamber has a larger volume on the peripheral side than the central side where the raw fuel easily flows, and the raw fuel is evenly supplied over the entire area of the desulfurizing agent, thereby increasing the desulfurization efficiency.
Further, the second mesh member is preferably configured such that the central portion is deformed in a convex shape toward the discharge port. Therefore, the fuel gas flows through the entire desulfurizing agent and is discharged from the filling chamber to the discharge chamber, thereby improving the desulfurization efficiency.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the desulfurizer is set so that the opening cross-sectional area of the supply port is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the opening of the discharge port. For this reason, fuel gas becomes easy to be discharged | emitted from a desulfurizer, and the pressure loss and auxiliary machine loss of a fuel cell system are reduced.
The desulfurizer is preferably set so that the opening cross-sectional area of the supply port is larger than the cross-sectional area of the opening of the discharge port. For this reason, the flow resistance of the discharge port is increased, the contact time of the raw fuel with the desulfurizing agent is increased, the desulfurization efficiency is increased, and the desulfurizer can be easily downsized.
Further, the desulfurizer preferably includes an opening degree adjusting means capable of adjusting at least the opening cross-sectional area of the supply port or the opening cross-sectional area of the discharge port. Thereby, the pressure loss and auxiliary machine loss of the fuel cell system, and the desulfurizer can be easily downsized.
Furthermore, the desulfurizer is preferably arranged on the upstream side of the fuel gas supply device. Therefore, the raw fuel can be desulfurized using the raw fuel supply pressure (for example, city gas supply pressure), and the pressure loss and auxiliary machine loss of the fuel cell system can be reduced.
Further, the desulfurizer is preferably arranged on the downstream side of the fuel gas supply device. For this reason, even if a pulsation occurs in the fuel gas supply device, the pulsation can be absorbed by the desulfurizer. As a result, the fuel gas can be stably supplied to the fuel cell module, and it becomes possible to prevent the power generation output of the fuel cell module from becoming unstable.
Furthermore, it is preferable to include pressure detection means for detecting the internal pressure of the desulfurizer and control means for controlling the rotational speed of the fuel gas supply device so that the detected internal pressure is maintained within a certain range. . Therefore, the desulfurizer can suppress a decrease in durability and deterioration of the desulfurizing agent due to high pressure, and suppress shortage of fuel gas supply due to low pressure. Further, it can be used as a clue to determine the lifetime, clogging, etc. of the first mesh member and the second mesh member in the desulfurizer.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the desulfurizer is provided with a first cutoff valve on the supply port side and a second cutoff valve on the discharge port side. For this reason, a desulfurization agent does not touch air at the time of a maintenance, and it becomes possible to suppress deterioration of the said desulfurization agent.
Moreover, it is preferable that a housing | casing is provided with the opening-and-closing door which can open and close a module part, a fluid supply part, and an electrical equipment part. Thus, maintenance and maintenance corresponding to each device are efficiently performed.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the fluid supply unit includes a detector that detects fuel gas, and the detector is disposed at the uppermost part of the fluid supply unit. Thereby, even if fuel gas leaks from the fuel gas supply device, the gas leak can be detected quickly and reliably via the detector.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the housing includes a rotation mechanism that can rotate around a vertical axis. For this reason, by rotating the housing, the open / close door that opens and closes the module unit, fluid supply unit, or electrical unit can be placed at a position that is easy for the operator to open and close, and maintenance and workability of the maintenance are good. improves.
Moreover, it is preferable that a housing | casing divides | segments a module part, a fluid supply part, and an electrical equipment part with a vertical partition plate along a horizontal direction. Since it is divided into a module part, a fluid supply part, and an electrical part for each operating temperature and each function, diffusion of heat and fluid can be minimized, and it can be arranged well in terms of function. And the fluid supply part comprises the outer wall part of a housing | casing, Cooling of the said fluid supply part is accelerated | stimulated and it is hard to raise in temperature. Similarly, the electrical component also constitutes the outer wall of the housing, and cooling of the electrical component is promoted, making it difficult to increase the temperature.
Further, the fuel cell module is preferably a high-temperature fuel cell system, for example, a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) module, which can provide a good effect.
Furthermore, a solid oxide fuel cell module is provided with a solid oxide fuel cell in which an electrolyte / electrode assembly configured by sandwiching at least a solid electrolyte between an anode electrode and a cathode electrode and a separator are stacked. A solid oxide fuel cell stack in which the solid oxide fuel cells are stacked, a heat exchanger that heats an oxidant gas before being supplied to the solid oxide fuel cell stack, and a hydrocarbon as a main component. In order to generate a mixed fuel of raw fuel and water vapor, it is preferable to include an evaporator that evaporates water and a reformer that reforms the mixed fuel to generate a reformed gas.
According to the present invention, the housing includes a module unit that accommodates the fuel cell module and the combustor, a fluid supply unit in which the fuel gas supply device, the oxidant gas supply device, and the water supply device are disposed, and the power conversion device. And an electrical component in which the control device is arranged. For this reason, the inside of the housing is divided for each operating temperature and for each function, so that the diffusion of heat and fluid is minimized, and an optimal arrangement for the function can be performed.
Furthermore, a fluid supply unit is disposed on the first side surface side of the module unit. Therefore, the fluid supply part constitutes the outer wall part of the housing, and cooling of the fluid supply part is promoted, and it is difficult to increase the temperature. Similarly, an electrical component is disposed on the second side surface side of the module unit. For this reason, the electrical equipment part constitutes the outer wall part of the housing, and cooling of the electrical equipment part is promoted and it is difficult to increase the temperature. As a result, devices that are used at a relatively low temperature, for example, a fluid supply unit including pumps and an electrical component including a control device are prevented from being affected by heat as much as possible. It is possible to operate while maintaining the above.
Furthermore, the desulfurizer has a supply port to which raw fuel is supplied disposed below a discharge port from which fuel gas is discharged, and is set in a linear flow direction from the supply port to the discharge port. ing.
Therefore, since the raw fuel flows from the lower side to the upper side of the desulfurizer, the contact time with the desulfurizing agent becomes longer, the desulfurization efficiency is improved, and the desulfurizer can be downsized. In addition, even if the desulfurization agent deteriorates and becomes finer due to long-term use or the like, the raw fuel becomes an upflow, so that the desulfurization agent is prevented from depositing in the lower part of the desulfurizer, and the raw fuel is allowed to flow effectively. It becomes possible.
For this reason, while using the whole desulfurization agent effectively, the said desulfurization agent can be used over a long period of time. In addition, it is possible to suppress the refined desulfurizing agent from flowing to the downstream side of the desulfurizer. Thereby, the pressure loss and auxiliary machine loss of the fuel cell system are reduced, and the power generation efficiency and the life of the fuel cell system are improved.

As shown in FIG. 5, the fuel
As shown in FIG. 7, the

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the
The
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the

The first opening /
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the
The operation of the
As shown in FIG. 5, under the driving action of the fuel
As shown in FIG. 6, in the
On the other hand, when the air supplied from the
Therefore, in the electrolyte /
The exhaust gas moves along the second
In this case, in the first embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the inside of the
Furthermore, in the first embodiment, the
As a result, the
Furthermore, in the first embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the first opening /
On the other hand, when performing maintenance and inspection of the
At that time, the
The interior of the
For this reason, the inside of the
Further, in the
Furthermore, the
In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 7, the
Moreover, in the
Therefore, the
Further, the
On the other hand, the desulfurized raw fuel that has been subjected to the desulfurization process is temporarily stored in the
Further, the
On the other hand, the
Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the
Further, the

FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram of the

In the
