Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a sleeper apnea correction device that reduces or eliminates a sleeper's apnea state.
In recent years, the sleep apnea syndrome during sleep has attracted attention. Apnea syndrome refers to a state in which a sleeper cannot breathe and becomes close to a suffocation state or a suffocation state during sleep. Patent Document 1 makes it possible to intuitively visually recognize a sleeping person's sleeping state by using a sensor that detects biological information (for example, respiratory information, body movement information, and body position) of the sleeping person and a load or vibration corresponding signal output from the sensor. A biological information display device including display control means for displaying in time series is disclosed. According to this, when the sleeping person who is sleeping is in an apnea state, the display control means can display the sleeping figure of the sleeping person in a time series so that the sleeping figure can be visually recognized.
There is a need in the industry to develop a device that reduces or eliminates the sleep apnea state during sleep.
This invention is made | formed in view of the above-mentioned actual condition, and makes it a subject to provide the apnea correction apparatus which reduces or eliminates the sleepless person's apnea state during sleep.
The apnea correction device according to the present invention includes a respiratory detection unit that detects a respiratory state of a sleeping sleeping person and a respiratory detection unit that detects that the sleeping person has not breathed for a predetermined time or longer. When the apnea determination unit determines that the patient is in an apnea state and the apnea determination unit determines that the sleeper is in an apnea state, the sleeper is stimulated to give an apnea state. And a stimulating means for reducing or eliminating.
The respiratory detection means detects the respiratory state of the sleeping person, and examples thereof include a sensor that detects pressure fluctuations near the lungs based on the sleeping person's breathing. The breathing detection means can be installed in bedding such as a futon, mattress, blanket, bed device, indoor furniture, and the like.
When the sleeping person has not breathed for a predetermined time or more based on the detection result by the breathing detecting means, the apnea condition determining means determines that the sleeping person is in an apnea state. Although the predetermined time is appropriately set, generally, a respiratory stop state of 10 seconds or more is exemplified, but is not limited to 10 seconds or more.
When the apnea state determination means determines that the sleeper is in an apnea state, the stimulation means gives a stimulus to the sleeper who is sleeping. Thereby, the sleepless person's apnea state is reduced or eliminated. Examples of stimulation means include olfactory stimulation, visual stimulation, contact-sensitive stimulation, and auditory stimulation. The stimulating means includes at least one of an odor generating means for generating an odor, a light applying means for giving light to a sleeping person, an air flow generating means for generating an air flow, and a vibration generating means for generating vibration. It is preferable. The odor is preferably an odor (fragrance) that invites comfort, but it does not have to invite comfort. In general, odors such as fragrances can be said to be relatively weak stimuli. Here, odors such as fragrances are effective in reducing or eliminating the sleepless person's apnea state because they tend to stimulate the nasal cavity, throat, etc. involved in the sleeper's respiratory state and apnea state. Although it does not specifically limit as odor substances, such as an aromatic substance, The substance which irritate | stimulates a nasal cavity, a throat, etc. of a sleeping person is illustrated.
In general, light and airflow are relatively strong stimuli than odor. Since the odor, light, and airflow do not physically affect the sleeper, it is possible to prevent the sleeper from being actively awakened. Awakening means that a sleeping person wakes up from sleep.
The above-described stimulation may be given continuously to the sleeping person or may be given intermittently. Preferably, the stimulating means gives the sleeper a stimulus without waking the sleeper. In this case, careless awakening of the sleeping person is suppressed, and discomfort to the sleeping person is suppressed. The stimulation means is exemplified by a form in which the degree of stimulation is increased unless the apnea state is resolved. Accordingly, the stimulating means is relatively stronger than the weak stimulating means for weakly stimulating the sleeper without waking up the sleeper and for awakening the sleeper without waking up the sleeper. It is preferable to provide strong stimulation means for applying strong stimulation to the sleeping person. Since the stimulation is gradually increased in this way, the sleepless person's apnea state is easily reduced or eliminated. In this specification, awakening means that the user's brain is continuously awakened for one minute or longer.
When the sleeper's apnea state is resolved, it is preferable to eliminate the stimulation by the stimulation means. The apnea correction device according to the present invention may be assembled to furniture, a room wall, etc., may be assembled to the interior of a vehicle cabin as a vehicle mounting component, and may further be assembled to a bed device, You may isolate | separate with respect to a bed apparatus. The bed apparatus may be a single bed, a double bed, or a twin bed.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the apnea correction apparatus which reduces or eliminates the sleepless person's apnea state during sleep can be provided.

As shown in FIG. 1, a

FIG. 4 shows an example of a flowchart executed by the
When it is determined that the patient is not in an apnea state (NO in step S104), reading of the detection signal of the
After giving a weak stimulus as described above, the detection signal of the
When it is determined that the patient is still in an apnea state (YES in step S112), a strong stimulus (second stimulus) is given to the sleeping person for a predetermined time (step S114). Strong stimulation means that the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, when it is determined that the sleeper is in an apnea state as described above, a weak aroma (weak odor) is given to cancel the sleeper's apnea state. If the sleeper's apnea state is still not resolved, a strong fragrance (strong odor) is given to promote the cancellation of the apnea state. It should be noted that two or more stages of stimulation such as weak stimulation, weak stimulation, medium stimulation, and strong stimulation may be applied.
(Embodiment 2)
FIG. 5 shows a second embodiment. The present embodiment has basically the same configuration and operational effects as the first embodiment. Hereinafter, the description will focus on the different parts. A
