Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle control device.
A steer-by-wire vehicle control device has been developed in which a steering wheel and a steering gear for steering a steering wheel are mechanically separated. In this vehicle control device, a sensor for detecting the rotation of the steering wheel is provided, the steering angle of the steering wheel is detected by the sensor, and the steering angle corresponding to this is calculated by the control device. Further, the steering gear is driven so that the steering wheel angle matches the steering angle.
Here, when trying to always generate a substantially constant reaction force, it is necessary to servo-control the reaction force motor. However, servo-controllable motors are expensive. Further, in order to maintain the state in which the rotation of the steering wheel is stopped, it is necessary to generate the rotational force of the right rotation and the left rotation alternately and at a high speed with a certain gain. In general, when the gain is increased, the operation becomes difficult to stabilize, and thus control is difficult. Further, since it is necessary to constantly input a large current for position control, power consumption is large.
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and a main object of the present invention is to allow an operation reaction force to be efficiently and appropriately applied with a simple configuration.
The invention according to
In this vehicle control device, a steering reaction force can be applied to the steering wheel by operating the first motor, and a steering reaction force and a holding force are applied to the steering wheel when the second motor is operated. Can be made. Both the first motor and the second motor may be used, or only one of them may be used.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the vehicle control device according to the first aspect, the second motor holds the steering angle in a first range in which an angle difference between the steering angle and the steering angle includes zero. In this way, the energization control is performed, and the first motor is not operated.
In this vehicle control apparatus, since the position control is easy in the second motor that operates using the change in reactance, the holding force is generated by using the second motor.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the vehicle control device according to the first or second aspect, a range in which a steering reaction force is generated only by the first motor, the first motor, and the second motor A range in which a steering reaction force is generated in each of the two motors of the motor is configured to be switchable according to an angle difference.
In this vehicle control device, the first motor mainly generates a steering reaction force, and the second motor additionally generates a steering reaction force.
According to the present invention, by providing two motors in a cooperative manner, it is not necessary to increase the gain of one motor, and stable control can be performed. Steering reaction force and holding force can be appropriately applied to the steering wheel, and the steering feeling is improved.
The best mode for carrying out the invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
The
Further, a
The
The second encoder 14 is used as a center position detection sensor that detects a position at which the steering angle is reset. For example, a sensor is used that provides a marker on a disc that has been decelerated to rotate once when the steering wheel 2 is rotated within a steerable range, and that outputs a pulse signal when this marker is detected. The marker is provided corresponding to the rotational position of the steering wheel 2 when the tire 4 faces in the straight traveling direction. Since the vehicle is configured such that the tire 4 can be steered by the same amount on the right side and the left side with respect to the straight traveling direction, the rotational position of the steering wheel 2 at this time corresponds to a neutral point in the steerable region. To do. Therefore, when the driver rotates the steering wheel 2, one neutral point position signal Cw (see FIG. 3) is output as the first initial position signal each time the neutral point is reached. The neutral point position signal Cw is a pulse signal having a time width longer than ½ of each cycle of the rotation detection signals Aw and Bw and shorter than each cycle of the rotation detection signals Aw and Bw.

As shown in FIG. 2, the

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described.
When the driver rotates the steering wheel 2, two pulse train signals (rotation detection signals Aw, Bw) are output to the

The steering angle calculation means 29 detects the
In the

Further, the second drive signal generation means 72 changes the necessary steering reaction force obtained from the angle difference according to the command value calculated by the steering angle difference comparison means 71. For example, a value obtained by multiplying a required steering reaction force by a command value is set as a holding force or a steering reaction force generated by the
Here, FIG. 4 schematically shows an example of the relationship between the force generated by the
In other words, in a range where the angle difference is small, it is only necessary to hold the steering wheel 2 at that position, and it is not necessary to generate a steering reaction force, so the
When there is an angle difference but a large steering reaction force is not required, only the
