Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a steel strip transport roll applied to a furnace that performs heat treatment of a cold-rolled steel strip.
The cold-rolled steel strip manufactured by cold rolling is heat-treated as necessary. This heat treatment is performed by guiding the cold-rolled steel sheet into a heat treatment furnace and moving the heat treatment furnace. The steel strip is moved in the heat treatment furnace by winding the steel strip around a steel strip transport roll (hearth roll) and repeatedly moving it in the vertical direction, for example. By the way, the steel strip is bent or partially stretched, and when it is wound around a roll and moved, the meandering occurs due to the bending or the like. As a means for preventing meandering, a hearth roll is provided with a crown.
Recently, however, the size of steel strips that must be handled by a single heat treatment furnace has been wide ranging from narrow to wide. For example, a wider steel plate has been required as a steel plate for forming an automobile body. When processing a steel plate for automobiles in a heat treatment furnace, conventionally, a processing target has been a plate width range of a plate width of 800 to 1500 mm. Recently, a plate width in the range of about 1200 to 2000 mm on the same line, and a plate having a width larger than that in some cases, are required. Thus, when the range of the plate width is widened, it is not possible to sufficiently avoid a conveyance trouble such as meandering by simply devising the shape of the roll as in the prior art.
As for the one-stage taper roll having a taper on the surface of the hearth roll, the optimum roll shape is already known, and it is an effective means for preventing meandering and squeezing in the operation of the conventional plate width range. However, such a one-stage taper roll cannot be applied as it is to a wide plate width range in which the maximum and minimum plate width ratio is twice or more, for example. As a hearth roll used for a relatively wide steel strip, there is one disclosed in
In the hearth roll described in
FIGS. 13A, 13B, and 13C show how the
The present invention has been made in view of the above situation, and when a steel strip is transported in a heat treatment furnace, it suppresses the occurrence of drawing in the steel strip and prevents the occurrence of a pressing flaw, and also works on the steel strip. It is an object of the present invention to provide a steel strip transport roll (hearth roll) that minimizes local generation of centering force and can reduce the occurrence of throttling and meandering even when the operating conditions are changed.

A vertical heat treatment furnace according to a seventh invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is as follows.
A vertical heat treatment furnace using the steel strip transport roll according to the second aspect of the present invention as a transport roll, wherein the transport rolls in the entry side section composed of a plurality of zones on the furnace entrance side are the following formulas (6) and (7) And the profile period length Lc of the transport roll group in the entire entrance section or in each zone is reduced stepwise or sequentially from the entrance side to the center of the furnace.

0.78Lc ≦ Le ≦ 0.90Lc (7)
The entry side section in the vertical heat treatment furnace is composed of a plurality of zones such as a pre-tropical zone, a heating zone, and a soaking zone. In this seventh aspect, the steel strip carrying roll group in the pre-tropical zone and the steel strip carrying roll group in the heating zone The profile period length of the steel strip conveying roll group in the soaking zone is gradually reduced. For example, the profile period length of each steel strip transport roll of the steel strip transport roll group in the heating zone is shortened by 50 mm from the profile period length of each steel strip transport roll in the steel strip transport roll group in the pre-tropical zone. From the profile period length of each steel strip transport roll of the transport roll group, the profile period length of the steel strip transport roll group in the soaking zone is reduced by 50 mm, or the cycle length of each steel sheet transport roll constituting the roll group in each band Is reduced by 50 mm in the band.

A vertical heat treatment furnace according to an eighth invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is
A vertical heat treatment furnace using the steel strip transport roll according to the second aspect of the present invention as a transport roll, and transport rolls in the exit section composed of a plurality of zones on the furnace exit side are the following formulas (8) and (9): And the profile period length Lc of the transport roll group in the entire outlet section or in each zone is increased stepwise from the furnace center toward the outlet side of the furnace.
1.5 Wmin ≦ Lc ≦ 1.0 Wmax (8)
0.75Lc ≦ Le ≦ 0.82Lc (9)
The exit section in the vertical heat treatment furnace includes a plurality of zones such as a rapid cooling zone, a holding zone, and a final cooling zone. In the eighth aspect of the invention, the steel strip conveying roll group in the rapid cooling zone and the steel strip in the holding zone. The profile period length of the steel strip transport roll group in the transport roll group and the final cooling zone is increased stepwise from the center to the exit side in each zone. For example, the profile period length of each steel strip transport roll of the steel strip transport roll group in the holding zone is 100 mm larger than the profile periodic length of each steel strip transport roll in the steel strip transport roll group in the rapid cooling zone, and the steel strip in the holding strip From the profile period length of each steel strip transport roll in the transport roll group, the profile period length of the steel strip transport roll group in the final cooling zone is increased by 100 mm, or the cycle of each steel sheet transport roll constituting the roll group in each band The length is increased by a predetermined fee within the band.
In the hearth roll of the heating section of the pre-tropical zone, heating zone, soaking zone, etc. (see FIG. 11) in the steel strip heat treatment furnace, the steel plate temperature is lower than the environmental temperature to which the roll is exposed. The temperature of the section is the same as the environmental temperature, and the center of the roll is the same temperature as the steel plate temperature. The roll profile changes due to the difference in thermal expansion due to the temperature difference. This roll profile is called a thermal crown.
According to the steel strip transport roll and the heat treatment furnace according to the first to eighth inventions, even when a thermal crown is generated in the steel strip transport roll, the steel strip is prevented from being squeezed or pressed. The centering force acting on the steel strip can be minimized, and the occurrence of throttling and meandering can be reduced even when the operating conditions are changed from a narrow steel strip to a wide steel strip. .
FIG. 14 shows a conventional one-stage taper roll, the roll profile at normal temperature and the shape of a steel plate (steel strip) are shown in FIG. 14 (a), and the roll profile and steel plate taking into account the expansion in the furnace during hot operation. The shape of is shown in FIG. It is assumed that the steel plate temperature is 400 ° C. and the furnace temperature is 600 ° C. FIG. 15 shows the two-stage taper roll described in
As shown in FIGS. 14 (b), 15 (b), and 16 (b), the roll shell at the center of the roll is in contact with the steel plate and is substantially the same as the steel plate temperature, and the roll edge is heated by the in-furnace radiation. The temperature approaches the furnace temperature and is higher than the center of the roll. As shown in FIGS. 14 (b) and 15 (b), the flat part of the taper roll has a slightly reverse warp shape, and the boundary between the flat part and the taper part has a convex shape. This convex-shaped part becomes a base point that causes buckling of the steel plate or buckling of the steel plate. Further, with the one-step taper shown in FIGS. 14A and 14B, a sufficient centering force cannot be obtained. With the two-step taper shown in FIGS. 15 (a) and 15 (b), a centering force can be obtained for a steel plate having a narrow width to a wide width.
On the other hand, in the roll according to the present invention shown in FIGS. 16 (a) and 16 (b), a centering force can be obtained with respect to a steel plate having a narrow width to a wide width, and the convex portion that is a base point of the pressing and buckling is provided. Disappear. As shown in FIG. 16 (b), the roll according to the present invention has no irregularities such as protrusions in the hot roll profile, and the familiarity between the steel sheet and the roll surface is very good. These show that an optimal roll profile shape can be obtained even if a thermal crown due to a temperature difference is applied to a roll profile generated (expanded) by the temperature distribution of the roll by optimally designing a cosine curve. .
FIG. 17A is a schematic diagram showing a profile of a roll having a single taper, and when a steel sheet is wound around the roll having such a profile, the incident angle is wound between the flat portion and the taper portion of the roll. Changes, and this part becomes the base point of the buckling of the steel sheet. FIG. 17B shows the difference in the winding incident angle in the roll. The flat portion is zero, and the winding angle is changed at the taper portion. In the drawing, the winding angle in the left-right reverse direction is integrated. The incident angle changes greatly at the boundary B between the flat portion and the tapered portion, and this is the starting point of buckling. FIG. 17C shows the compressive force (centering force) in the plate width direction applied to the steel plate by the one-step taper roll. The compressive force changes greatly at the boundary S between the flat portion and the tapered portion, which becomes a starting point of slip between the roll and the steel plate, and causes a scratch.
FIG. 18 (a) is a schematic diagram of a profile of a steel strip transport roll according to the present invention, which is a cosine curve, and FIG. 18 (b) is an incident angle when a steel plate is wound around such a roll. Shows changes. As shown in FIG. 18B, the winding incident angle changes smoothly. Therefore, the compressive force (centering force) applied to the steel plate by this roll also changes smoothly as shown in FIG. 18 (c). That is, according to the steel strip transport roll according to the present invention, FIG. The part which becomes the starting point of buckling as shown in (c) does not occur.
According to the steel strip transport roll according to the fourth aspect of the invention, a reasonable centering force in which both the cosine curve at the center of the roll and the surface roughness of the portion act is obtained. The edge region is less affected by the centering force that causes the steel strip to buckle when the roughness is lowered, and the inclination of the roll profile is equal to or less than that of the center region.
According to the first and second aspects of the invention, an ideal convex shape with no inflection portion is obtained in the hot profile of the roll crown, and the surface pressure of the steel sheet wound around the convex shape is smooth along the convex roll profile. (High at the center and low at the edge). However, when the plate width difference is large and the operating temperature range is large in the operating range, the crown amount is determined in relation to the operating temperature range, so the crown amount is large, wide, and large centering force from the contact surface. May act. In particular, in a steel plate that is wide and stretched belly, there is a concern about buckling in the center of the roll due to the meandering correction force of the edge portion. In such a case, as in the fourth invention, the roughness of the edge portion is changed (smaller) than the roughness of the center portion of the roll, and the centering force from the edge portion is adjusted (smaller). Therefore, occurrence of buckling can be suppressed.
According to the steel strip transport roll according to the fifth invention, there is no need to use two types of roll surface roughness, and final adjustment of the roll surface roughness becomes easy.
As described above, according to the first and second inventions, an ideal convex shape having a hot profile of the roll crown without an inflection portion is obtained, and the surface pressure of the steel sheet wound around the convex shape is a convex roll. It changes smoothly along the profile (high at the center and low at the edge). When the roll roughness is the same as in the fifth invention, the centering force is proportional to the surface pressure. This centering force changes smoothly, and the change in the centering force that is the starting point of buckling becomes even smaller. Therefore, the occurrence of buckling is further suppressed. In addition, when the roughness of the roll surface is made the same, the surface roughness is built in, so that the manufacturing cost can be reduced and the work period can be shortened.
Like the vertical heat treatment furnaces according to the seventh and eighth inventions, the steel strip transport rolls in the entrance section of the furnace are made smaller in stages, or the steel strip transport rolls in the exit section of the furnace are made step by step. By making it large, stable running of the steel sheet can be achieved, and this has been confirmed experimentally.

Co is the initial value of the reference crown. Based on empirical rules of actual equipment, stable driving (no meandering, buckling) is possible by using 0.1 to 1.5 under many operating conditions (including operation at normal temperature). A crown shape suitable for the above is obtained. Ts (° C.) is an estimated temperature of the steel strip to be heat treated, and Tr (° C.) is a temperature to which the roll barrel body is exposed during the heat treatment.

FIG. 5 shows a stable state when the narrow steel plate 5 (plate width W = 1200 mm) is sold on the market. In FIG. 5, 4a is a hearth roll profile during cold, and 4b is a hearth roll profile during hot. In addition, the profile of the steel plate 5 shows the profile wound around the hearth roll.

FIG. 6 shows a transitional state immediately after the steel plate (steel strip) to be transported is switched from the narrow steel plate (W = 1200 mm) 5 to the slightly wider steel plate 6 (W = 1500 mm). The tension is the same as that shown in FIG. Both ends of the slightly

FIG. 8 shows a stable state when a
5-8, in the stable state of the steel plate width W = 1200 mm, W = 1500 mm, and the maximum width W = 2000 mm, the
Furthermore, even for the steel strip of the maximum plate width, local centering force is not generated by devising the roll profile, and the tension in the furnace is set to the unit tension (kg / mm 2 ) of the same class as the narrow plate width. It is possible, and the plate-passability of the steel sheet is improved by operating at high speed. Therefore, it is an optimal roll that is less prone to dents, meanders and squeezes even in operations with a wide plate width range.
In this example, not only the roll profile is specified, but also the roughness of the roll surface is specified. FIG. 9 shows a state in which the
The
A roll center region A1 having a roll surface roughness Ra of 6 μm is an area of −1/8 Lc to 1/8 Lc of one period (Lc) of the cosine curve, and is near the center of the convex portion of the cosine curve. In this portion, a centering force in which both the centering force due to the inclination of the cosine curve and the centering force due to the roughness of the same part act is obtained. Further, in the edge region A2, the centering force that causes the steel strip to buckle due to the low roughness is less likely to act on the steel strip, and the inclination of the roll profile is equal to or less than that of the central region A1. . This can be said to have a roll profile and roughness capable of transmitting the driving force by the roll to the steel sheet and giving an ideal centering force. Further, the obtained centering force can be applied smoothly along the cosine curve, and the risk of the steel strip buckling can be further eliminated.
Thus, according to this embodiment, a centering force suitable for conveying the steel strip can be obtained by a combination of the roll profile and the surface roughness.
FIG. 10 shows a state in which the
According to this hearth roll, it is not necessary to make two types of roll surface roughness as in Example 3, and the final adjustment of the roll surface roughness becomes easy. In addition, the inclination near the center of the cosine curve is large, and a smooth centering force along the cosine curve suitable for the plate-passability can be obtained together with the surface roughness. On the other hand, the region other than the vicinity of the center of the cosine curve has a relatively gentle slope, and no centering force that causes the steel plate to buckle is generated. Moreover, the contact pressure of a steel plate becomes small in the same part compared with a roll center part. Due to this small contact pressure, the driving force transmitted to the steel strip at the roll edge portion is somewhat low, but the driving force can be applied smoothly in the entire region of the roll, and the transport of the steel strip can be stabilized. Moreover, the manufacturing process of the roughness adjustment of a roll decreases, and the manufacturing cost of a steel strip conveyance roll can be reduced.

The
In the
