Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact desktop type shrink packaging film cutter excellent in safety which can simply and quickly cut out a shrink packaging film adhered to a book without damaging the book itself at all. <P>SOLUTION: The desktop type shrink packaging film cutter comprises a pedestal case, the cutter, and a pair of guide plates, and a slit where a cutting edge part of the cutter is almost exposed is formed on the upper surface of the pedestal case.
