And a fuel cell stack, and a fuel cell.
In recent years, various fuel cells have been proposed in which a fuel cell stack in which a plurality of fuel cells are electrically connected in series is accommodated in a storage container as next-generation energy.

The fuel cell 21 (21a, 21b) is configured by sequentially providing a solid electrolyte 29 and an oxygen-side electrode 23 made of conductive ceramics on the outer peripheral surface of a fuel-side electrode 27 made of a cylindrical metal, The

The electrical connection between one
The fuel cell is configured by housing the fuel cell stack in a storage container. The fuel (hydrogen) is allowed to flow inside the fuel side electrode 27, and the air (oxygen) is allowed to flow to the oxygen side electrode 23. It generates electricity.
In such a
Recently, a production method in which a solid electrolyte and an oxygen side electrode are simultaneously fired has also been proposed. However, when the solid electrolyte and the oxygen-side electrode are co-fired, Sr contained in the oxygen-side electrode diffuses into the solid electrolyte, and a reaction layer having a high electric resistance is formed at the interface. There was a problem of causing the performance degradation.
Therefore, a fuel cell having an intermediate layer formed between the solid electrolyte and the oxygen side electrode for the purpose of preventing performance deterioration of the fuel cell in simultaneous firing of the solid electrolyte and the oxygen side electrode, and a method for producing the same Has been proposed (see, for example,
In addition, in order to provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell with excellent heat cycle durability and sufficient power generation performance, a solid electrolyte layer, a reaction preventing layer, a mixed layer, and an air electrode layer are sequentially laminated on the surface of the fuel electrode substrate. In addition, a solid electrolyte fuel cell has been proposed in which the mixed layer contains materials for a reaction preventing layer and an air electrode layer (see, for example, Patent Document 3).
However, even when an intermediate layer consisting of one layer is formed between the solid electrolyte and the oxygen side electrode, Zr contained in the solid electrolyte diffuses into the intermediate layer and is contained in the oxygen side electrode. In some cases, Sr diffuses to the solid electrolyte side, and when power generation is performed for a long time, Zr in the diffused solid electrolyte reacts with Sr diffused from the oxygen side electrode to form a reaction layer having a high electric resistance. As a result, the power generation performance of the fuel cell deteriorates. At the same time, diffusion of Sr into the solid electrolyte results in a reaction layer having a high electrical resistance formed by a reaction between Sr contained in the solid electrolyte and Zr contained in the solid electrolyte. There was a problem that power generation performance deteriorated.
Also, in the fuel cell in which the solid electrolyte is first fired and then the intermediate layer is baked, when the solid electrolyte and the intermediate layer have insufficient adhesion, and the power generation of the fuel cell is performed for a long time, the solid electrolyte and There was also a problem that peeling occurred between the intermediate layer and the power generation performance of the fuel cell deteriorated.
Furthermore, as disclosed in
Further, as in
Therefore, the present invention suppresses the diffusion of Zr contained in the solid electrolyte to the oxygen side electrode, diffuses the Sr contained in the oxygen side electrode into the solid electrolyte, and Sr is contained in the solid electrolyte. A fuel cell that suppresses the reaction during long-term operation between Zr contained in the solid electrolyte and Sr contained in the oxygen-side electrode by preventing inclusion, and deterioration of power generation performance, and uses the same An object is to provide a fuel cell stack and a fuel cell.
The fuel cell of the present invention comprises an intermediate layer and an oxygen-side electrode containing Sr on the surface of one side of the solid electrolyte containing Zr in order, and the other side of the solid electrolyte facing the oxygen-side electrode. The intermediate layer is composed of a surface layer region on the solid electrolyte side containing Zr and another region not containing Zr, and the surface layer region is the fuel cell having a fuel side electrode on the surface thereof. It is characterized by being denser than other regions.
In such a fuel cell, an intermediate layer is provided between a solid electrolyte containing Zr (zirconium) and an oxygen side electrode containing Sr (strontium), and the intermediate layer is on the side of the solid electrolyte containing Zr. Therefore, a reaction layer having a high electric resistance is formed by the reaction between Zr and Sr in the oxygen side electrode and the intermediate layer (other region). This can be suppressed.
Furthermore, by providing an intermediate layer between the solid electrolyte and the oxygen side electrode, Sr contained in the oxygen side electrode can be prevented from diffusing into the solid electrolyte. Here, since the surface layer region on the solid electrolyte side of the intermediate layer is formed more densely than the other regions, Sr contained in the oxygen side electrode permeates the other region of the intermediate layer and enters the surface layer region. Even when it is diffused, it is possible to prevent Sr from diffusing into the solid electrolyte. This is probably because Sr causes grain boundary diffusion, although no clear factor is known.
Thereby, Zr contained in the solid electrolyte can be prevented from diffusing to the oxygen side electrode, and Sr contained in the oxygen side electrode can be prevented from diffusing to the solid electrolyte side, and further contained in the oxygen side electrode. Sr can be prevented from being included (diffused) in the solid electrolyte.
Therefore, it is possible to suppress (prevent) the formation of a reaction layer having a high electrical resistance due to the reaction between Zr and Sr, and to firmly bond the solid electrolyte and the intermediate layer (surface layer region). It is possible to suppress the deterioration of the power generation performance of the cell, and it is possible to suppress the deterioration of the power generation performance of the fuel cell during long-time power generation.
In the fuel cell of the present invention, the intermediate layer includes a first layer that forms a surface region, and a second layer that forms another region, and the first layer, the solid electrolyte, Is preferably formed by co-firing.
In such a fuel cell, the Zr in the solid electrolyte diffuses into the first layer by forming the solid electrolyte and the first layer that forms the surface region of the intermediate layer by co-firing. The solid electrolyte and the first layer are firmly bonded, and the solid electrolyte and the first layer can be prevented from peeling off. Thereby, deterioration of the power generation performance of the fuel cell in long-time power generation can be suppressed.
In the fuel cell of the present invention, the second layer is preferably formed by sintering at a temperature lower than the temperature at the time of simultaneous firing of the solid electrolyte and the first layer.
In such a fuel cell, after the solid electrolyte and the first layer are formed by co-firing, the temperature of the co-firing of the solid electrolyte and the first layer is measured on the surface of the first layer. Since the second layer is formed by sintering at a lower temperature, Zr contained in the solid electrolyte does not diffuse into the second layer, and the second layer does not contain Zr. Become.
Thereby, since the second layer joined to the oxygen side electrode does not contain Zr, the reaction between Zr and Sr contained in the oxygen side electrode can be suppressed in the second layer, and the Thus, it is possible to provide a fuel cell having excellent long-term reliability, in which deterioration of power generation performance in power generation is suppressed.
In the fuel cell of the present invention, it is preferable that the first layer and the second layer contain the same rare earth element (except Sr).
In such a fuel cell, the first layer and the second layer of the intermediate layer contain the same rare earth element, so that the thermal expansion coefficients of the first layer and the second layer are made closer to each other. It is possible to improve the bonding strength between the first layer and the second layer. Therefore, separation of the first layer and the second layer can be suppressed, deterioration of the power generation performance of the fuel cell in long-time power generation can be suppressed, and fuel cell excellent in long-term reliability It can be.
In the fuel battery cell of the present invention, it is preferable that the first layer has a thickness of 1 to 10 μm and the second layer has a thickness of 5 to 20 μm.
In such a fuel cell, by setting the thickness of the first layer of the intermediate layer to 1 to 10 μm, Zr in the solid electrolyte can be sufficiently diffused into the first layer, and the solid electrolyte and the first layer can be diffused. 1 can be firmly bonded, and Sr contained in the oxygen-side electrode can be prevented from diffusing into the solid electrolyte.
On the other hand, by setting the thickness of the second layer of the intermediate layer to 5 to 20 μm, it is possible to reduce the amount of the second layer of Sr that is contained in the oxygen-side electrode through long-term continuous operation. Thereby, Sr contained in the oxygen-side electrode can be prevented from diffusing into the solid electrolyte, the deterioration of the power generation performance of the fuel cell in long-time power generation can be suppressed, and the long-term reliability is excellent. It can be set as a fuel cell.
The fuel cell stack of the present invention is characterized in that a plurality of the fuel cells described above are electrically connected in series.
In such a fuel cell stack, since long-term power generation is configured by electrically connecting a plurality of fuel cells that suppress deterioration of power generation performance during long-term power generation and have excellent long-term reliability. It can be set as the fuel cell stack excellent in.
The fuel cell of the present invention is characterized in that the fuel cell stack is stored in a storage container.
Such a fuel cell is characterized in that a fuel cell stack having excellent long-term reliability is stored in a storage container, so that a fuel cell having excellent long-term reliability can be obtained.
The fuel cell of the present invention comprises an intermediate layer and an oxygen-side electrode containing Sr on the surface of one side of the solid electrolyte containing Zr in order, and the intermediate layer has a surface layer region on the solid electrolyte side containing Zr. And other regions that do not contain Zr, and the surface layer region is denser than other regions, so that it is possible to suppress deterioration in power generation performance during long-time power generation and to have excellent long-term reliability. It can be. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a fuel cell stack having excellent long-term reliability and a fuel cell having excellent long-term reliability, which are configured using the fuel cell of the present invention.

The
As understood from the shape shown in FIG. 1, the
Here, in the
In the present invention, the
In the present invention, the oxygen-
In addition, the
In the present invention, the
As a result, the
In addition, since the
Furthermore, by providing the
Accordingly, the reaction between Zr and Sr in the
The intermediate layer 4 (
Here, the
When the
Such an identical rare earth element includes, for example, Ce, and in particular, when the
In the formula (1), RE is preferably at least one of Sm, Y, Yb, and Gd, and x preferably has a composition represented by a number satisfying 0 <x ≦ 0.3. . Here, examples of the rare earth element RE other than Ce include Sm, Y, Yb, and Gd, and these rare earth elements can be appropriately selected and used. As a result, when the
Furthermore, the
(3): (CeO 2 ) 1-x (GdO 1.5 ) x
In the formulas (2) and (3), x preferably has a composition represented by a number satisfying 0 <x ≦ 0.3. Moreover, from the viewpoint of reducing electrical resistance, it is preferable that 10 to 20 mol% of SmO 1.5 or GdO 1.5 consists of CeO 2 was dissolved. In addition, in order to heighten the effect which suppresses formation of the reaction product of the component of the
Then, an oxygen layer electrode containing the intermediate layer 4 (
Here, it is preferable that the
Although such a manufacturing method will be described later, since the
Further, the
Here, in the case where the
Note that the
By densifying the
Here, the
After co-firing the
Furthermore, the
Note that the
In the fuel cell of the present invention, the thickness of the
By setting the thickness of the
Furthermore, by setting the thickness of the

Since the
Examples of the iron group metal component include an iron group metal element, an iron group metal oxide, an iron group metal alloy or an alloy oxide, and the like. More specifically, for example, the iron group metals include iron, nickel, and cobalt. In the present invention, any of them can be used, but since it is inexpensive and stable in fuel gas, It is preferable to contain Ni and / or NiO as a group component.
The rare earth oxide component is used to bring the coefficient of thermal expansion of the
Further, in the present invention, iron group metal component: rare earth oxide component = 35: 65 or more in that the good conductivity of the
Further, since the
Specific dimensions of the
In the present invention, the fuel-
The content of ZrO 2 in which the rare earth element is dissolved in the
Further, in the example of FIG. 1, the
Further, a
The
The thickness of the
Moreover, it is preferable to provide the P-
As such a P-

The manufacturing method of the
First, a clay is prepared by mixing an iron group metal such as Ni or its oxide powder, a rare earth oxide powder such as Y 2 O 3 , an organic binder, and a solvent, and using this clay A
Next, for example, ZrO 2 (YSZ) raw material in which NiO and Y 2 O 3 are dissolved is weighed and mixed according to a predetermined composition. Thereafter, an organic binder and a solvent are mixed with the mixed powder to prepare a slurry for the
Further, a slurry obtained by adding toluene, a binder, a commercially available dispersant, etc. to a ZrO 2 powder in which a rare earth element is solid-solubilized is molded into a thickness of 7 to 75 μm by a method such as a doctor blade. A
Subsequently, for example, CeO 2 powder in which SmO 1.5 is dissolved is heat-treated at 800 to 900 ° C. for 2 to 6 hours, and then wet pulverized to adjust the aggregation degree to 5 to 35, and the
In the present invention, toluene as a solvent is added to the raw material powder of the
Subsequently, a material for the interconnector 2 (for example, LaCrO 3 -based oxide powder), an organic binder and a solvent are mixed to prepare a slurry, a sheet for the
Next, the above-mentioned laminated molded body is subjected to binder removal treatment and co-fired at 1400 to 1600 ° C. for 2 to 6 hours in an oxygen-containing atmosphere.
Thereafter, the intermediate layer slurry is applied to the surface of the formed

Next, the slurry of the
In Table 1, No. 12-No. In No. 15, the

Next, a mixed liquid composed of La 0.6 Sr 0.4 Co 0.2 Fe 0.8 O 3 powder having an average particle diameter of 2 μm and isopropyl alcohol is prepared and sprayed on the surface of the intermediate layer of the laminated sintered body. This was applied to form an oxygen-

Next, hydrogen gas was allowed to flow inside the
About the obtained
Here, the presence / absence of Zr and Sr is determined to be the case where Zr is not found in the
Subsequently, the fuel gas is circulated through the
From the results of Table 1, the
Moreover, when the thickness of the
When the
On the other hand, even when the
Furthermore, when there is no
