Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet and a method for producing a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet.
In general, silicone rubber has durability, heat resistance, cold resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance, and also has excellent electrical properties, so it is a part for automobile-related parts, medical-related equipment, and food-related equipment. Widely used.
This silicone rubber is also a sheet material that exhibits self-bonding properties, for example, by bringing the cured rubbers into contact with each other to bring them to room temperature or in a heated state so that the contact surfaces are fused and integrated. Patent Document 1 describes that silicone rubber is used for a self-bonding rubber sheet for insulating a neutral point of a stator winding of a three-phase motor for driving an electric vehicle. Yes.
Incidentally, silicone rubber is inferior to other general rubbers such as natural rubber and chloroprene in mechanical properties such as tensile strength, tear strength, and abrasion resistance. The use of a base sheet such as a nonwoven fabric to reinforce the silicone rubber sheet is also described.
However, silicone rubber does not have sufficient adhesiveness with synthetic resin fibers, inorganic fibers, and the like, and when a base sheet is used as described in Patent Document 1, delamination may occur.
In particular, this delamination becomes even more remarkable in an oil adhesion environment.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet in which delamination is suppressed while employing a base sheet.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet formed into a sheet using a self-bonding silicone rubber composition, wherein the silicone rubber composition is used. The self-bonding layer is laminated on both sides of the base sheet, and the base sheet and the self-bonding layer are in direct contact, and the base sheet is at least the above-mentioned A self-bonding silicone rubber sheet characterized in that a surface in contact with the self-bonding layer is formed of a silicone resin.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention uses a self-bonding silicone rubber composition that is formed into a sheet, and is based on a self-bonding layer using the silicone rubber composition. A surface having a laminated structure laminated on both sides of the material sheet, wherein the base sheet and the self-bonding layer are in direct contact, and the base sheet is in contact with at least the self-bonding layer. In order to produce a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet formed of a silicone resin, the silicone rubber composition having the self-bonding property is brought into contact with the surface of the base sheet in an uncrosslinked sheet state and vulcanized. And providing a method for producing a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet, wherein the self-bonding layer is formed.
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet in which delamination is suppressed while employing a base sheet.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
The self-bonding silicone rubber sheet 1 of the present embodiment has a laminated structure in which a self-bonding silicone rubber composition is used and self-bonding layers 20 are stacked on both surfaces of the base sheet 10. ing.
Moreover, the said base material sheet 10 and the said self-fusion layer 20 are laminated | stacked in the state which contacts directly.
For example, the base sheet 10 can be formed by coating the surface of a base sheet with a silicone resin. Examples of the base sheet include glass fibers, inorganic fibers such as rock wool, polyester, and the like. Nonwoven fabric using fibers made of synthetic resin such as fibers, polyamide fibers, polypropylene fibers, natural fibers such as cotton and silk, semi-synthetic fibers such as cellulose, metal fibers, carbon fibers, etc., alone or in combination. Alternatively, a woven fabric, a porous resin film using a synthetic resin, a semi-synthetic resin, or the like, or a sheet such as a net can be used.
Among them, a glass cloth is suitable as a base sheet in that it exhibits high strength with a thin thickness compared to a synthetic resin and the like, and can exert an excellent reinforcing effect on the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet of the present embodiment. is there.
Further, the glass cloth is inexpensive and can contribute to the cost reduction of the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet 1, and since products with various specifications are distributed in the market, the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet 1 It is possible to easily change the design.
The silicone resin coated on the base sheet contains, for example, a trifunctional siloxane unit, a tetrafunctional siloxane unit, or both a trifunctional siloxane unit and a tetrafunctional siloxane unit in the molecule, An organopolysiloxane skeleton having a structure, having a methyl group, a Si-H group, an aliphatic unsaturated group, or the like at the end, or containing a phenyl group in addition to a methyl group in the molecule, etc. Can be used.
Further, the silicone resin may be alkyd-modified, epoxy-modified, acrylic-modified, or polyester-modified.
The base sheet 10 in which the base sheet is coated with a silicone resin can be produced using, for example, a so-called silicone varnish.
In this silicone varnish, for example, a bifunctional siloxane unit and a trifunctional siloxane unit are used, or only a trifunctional siloxane unit is used. It is possible to use a material that is dissolved in a solvent such as toluene and varnish, and is further crosslinked and insolubilized after being applied to an adherend.
As the silicone varnish, it is also possible to use a silicone resin intermediate modified by reacting a silicone resin intermediate with an alkyd resin, an epoxy resin, a polyester resin, an acrylic resin, etc. dissolved in a solvent. .
In addition, when glass cloth is used for the base sheet as described above, the glass cloth does not show solubility in organic solvents such as xylene and toluene like some synthetic resins, and usually Compared to the case of using a non-woven sheet using synthetic resin fibers as a base sheet, it is less likely to cause functional problems even when heated to a high temperature compared to synthetic resins. There is also an effect that the surface coating can be easily formed.
The silicone rubber composition used for the formation of the self-bonding layer 20 is not particularly limited. For example, the self-melting after crosslinking is performed by blending a boron compound as described in JP-B-40-10117. A silicone rubber composition imparted with adhesiveness can be used.
In addition, the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet 1 has a self-bonding layer 20 having a predetermined thickness that is easier to form in the silicone rubber composition having a self-bonding property than when a liquid silicone rubber composition is used. It is preferable to use a millable silicone rubber composition in terms of improving the productivity.
As this millable silicone rubber composition, for example, a heat-crosslinking silicone rubber composition containing a silicone rubber obtained by polymerizing mainly bifunctional siloxane units at a polymerization degree of about 3000 to 10,000 can be used.
In addition, fillers such as synthetic silica, diatomaceous earth, quartz, calcium carbonate, and crosslinking agents such as organic peroxides and platinum compounds that are generally used in silicone rubber compositions are also self-bonding silicone rubber sheets of the present embodiment. It can also be used for a silicone rubber composition that forms one self-bonding layer 20.
In addition, pigments, heat resistance improvers, antioxidants, processing aids, organic solvents, and the like that are generally used in silicone rubber compositions also form the self-bonding layer 20 of the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet 1 of this embodiment. It can also be used in silicone rubber compositions.
Next, with respect to the method for producing the self-bonding silicone rubber sheet of the present embodiment, a self-bonding type silicone rubber composition is used in which a glass cloth having a surface coated with a silicone resin is used as the base sheet. An example in which a self-bonding silicone rubber sheet is produced by directly laminating a bonding layer on both surfaces of the base sheet will be described.
First, for example, by using a long strip-shaped glass cloth, the glass cloth is fed out from one end side and passed through a tank in which the silicone varnish is stored. Introduce into a furnace etc. to remove the solvent contained in the silicone varnish and crosslink the silicone resin intermediate, etc. A material sheet can be produced.
In addition, before immersing the glass cloth in the silicone varnish, if necessary, it is possible to perform a coupling treatment using a silane coupling agent or a titanate coupling agent.
Next, an uncrosslinked sheet (hereinafter also referred to as “uncrosslinked sheet”) for forming a self-bonding layer is prepared.
As a method for producing this uncrosslinked sheet, for example, a silicone rubber, a filler, a crosslinking agent, or the like that is a raw material of the millable silicone rubber composition is kneaded by a general kneading means such as a mixer, and a sheeting means such as a calendar roll is used. Therefore, it is possible to adopt a method of forming the film to have a predetermined thickness.
Further, instead of such a method, for example, an uncrosslinked sheet can be produced by extruding the millable silicone rubber composition in an uncrosslinked state using an extruder equipped with a T die or the like.
In order to produce a self-adhesive silicone rubber sheet using the above-described long belt-like base sheet and an unvulcanized millable silicone rubber composition, first, for example, a surface is coated with a silicone resin. The uncrosslinked millable silicone rubber composition is laminated on the one side of the substrate sheet so that the uncrosslinked millable silicone rubber composition has a predetermined thickness after passing through the calender roll. Is passed between two heated rollers to crosslink the millable silicone rubber composition to form a self-bonding layer on one side, and then self-bonding to this one side. It is possible to adopt a method in which the base sheet on which the layer is formed is passed again through the calender roll and the self-bonding layer is similarly formed on the side where the self-bonding layer is not formed.
Thus, by cross-linking the uncrosslinked sheet in contact with the surface of the base sheet, the adhesive strength between the base sheet and the self-bonding layer becomes stronger, and the base sheet and the self-bonding layer A self-bonding silicone rubber sheet that is further prevented from delaminating can be produced.
